This neighborhood MOD is our go to pizza place when craving for some good custom baked pizzas. Just like any other MOD they have a wide variety of toppings to select from and you can create your own with customizations for base size/thickness, sauces, toppings and you have wide variety of sauces to finish off as well. They have plenty of seating to sit in and enjoy your food too. They do serve salad options and a few desserts too. Staff is polite and attentive mostly, unless they are super busy. read more

MOD Pizza - Menu - Fast Food Near Me - The Woodlands, Texas

I've really never been a MOD pizza girl. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the brand, a matter of fact I love the concept. I'd just rather other pizza providers over MOD when given the choice. That being said, I had no intention of revisiting this MOD pizza location until...my Friday night pizza craving kicked it. Craving salt, bread, fat, and cheese, this location was the best option to quickly satisfy my craving. While I expected the pie to be little more than a quick fix, I was pleasantly surprised. In making my own pie I had the option of Cambrian chili tomato sauce, ricotta, red peppers, chicken sausage and even pesto drizzle. I was able to craft the perfect pie, and wash it down with their craft teas, and a salad. I must admit, I underestimated MOD. It's a great option for pizza and salad for the family, and a great way to affordable feed a group while satisfying everyone's preferences. MOD, you win. I'll be back :) read more

MOD Pizza - Fresh pesto sauce on top! - Fast Food Near Me - The Woodlands, Texas

I've been to multiple MOD pizzas and this place tops the worst. Upon entering, no greeting, not even a glance or a smile. At the counter, the girl making the pizzas essentially was making a slab of dough with sprinkles of toppings rather than making an actual pizza. I had to continuously ask to add more of each topping every step of the way. Everyone working in the place looked miserable as if they hated their job and their life. When attempting to communicate with the girl making the pizzas, she continuously acted as if she had some reason to rush me when my wife and I were the only ones in the line and the store was mostly empty. We were quite confused to what the sense of urgency was. Additionally, my wife has dietary restrictions and wanted the spicy marinara, however, the marinara was filled with a layer of cheese from lack of care to prevent cross contamination of the ingredients. When my wife mentioned she wanted the spicy marinara and couldn't have it because of the cheese, the girl just stared blankly with the personality of a tree, and proceeded to ask if she wanted any other toppings. The rosemary, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, basil, etc. was all mashed together on a to-go container lid instead of separate from one another so that's an unfortunate pass. The guy placing pizzas in the oven kept wiping his hands on his nose without gloves on and proceeded to touch all of the pizzas bare-handed/gloveless; we didn't recognize this until we had already eaten. It sucks to eat and then immediately be sick to the stomach. Our pizzas weren't even cut completely. Both of our pizzas had a missing cut which produced two slices into one. After eating, we felt itchy in the throat and sneezy. The attention to detail and professionalism lacked significantly. The care, respect, and decency regarding cleanliness and health safety were non-existent. The cleanliness of the place lacked as well; especially by the drink station. Dinner out turned into a trip to the doctor to ensure we didn't catch some unnecessary illness from filthy peopHard no on returning here. read more

This is the second time I have attempted to have Pizza at this particular location. The first time I was skipped in line and had to point it out to them. The place is not very clean in between pizzas and the staff apparently wants to be any place other than where they are. With that being said once again, I've gone to the one in the Portofino Plaza and I've had nothing but good service and friendly staff. Additionally, the place is always clean. So if you have issues with being skipped and eating in a dirty restaurant, I highly recommend you go somewhere else... This MOD pizza, in Indian Springs Village, is probably one of the worst ones I've visited. read more

There was plenty of parking, the service was fast because the pizzas are made as you order down the line, and the pre made pizza topping combos are a nice convenience. But the pizza itself is fine, nothing to write home about. I took half of mine back home and reheated it for lunch leftovers the following day, only to find the crust almost inedible. It just wasn't worth it, compared to other build-your-own pizza places. Their version of a ding dong was great though. read more

I like how there's pictures on the back of the restaurant where you eat, and it's so fun to just look through them all. The only concern I have is that the whole restaurant is 1/4 covered in glass, and that's were the entrance is, so it's very likely you see people staring at you eat your food. Next, the food comes pretty quickly and is very hot, so if you gonna go home and eat it will still be so warm. They also have tons of toppings options, where you can see them all while ordering. The employees are very nice. and they make the pizza in front of you, (when adding all the sauce and toppings and cheese). read more

Have been waiting over 30 minutes in person for my pizza on a Thursday night. Online orders are the priority here.

This place doesn't seem to be very sanitary since the pizza dough guy didn't even have gloves on. Every other MOD has everyone wear gloves.

$11 bought a perfect lunch filled with flavor, in a clean, friendly environment! Experience began with sincere greeting, "Hi, welcome to MOD!" First Decision: size. I'm good with mini. Second, order "classic" (ingredients already determined) or build my own? Are you kidding? MY OWN is WHY I M Here!!! Pesto sauce, ham, olives, anchovies, mozzarella And Asagio! Hey, and since I'm going to See The Godfather, extra roast Garlic! All were arranged to my specifications. Minutes later, I was presented with a pizza on a wonderful thin but crunchy crust. Enjoyed my mini with Angry Orchard while considering a carafe of locally brewed wine, and listening to the perfect volume of delightful MOD sounds from excellent system. read more

Great pizza crust and amazing choice of toppings! My hubby got a meaty combo, tyke got a pepperoni, and I went crazy: Pesto, chicken, artichoke, broccoli, tomatoes, blue and asiago cheese. Yummy, and crispy crust. After eating one too many terrible pizzas, this native New Yorker finally found one that she could happily eat. Bringing pizza into the world of customizable cuisine, MOD Pizza invites even the most persnickety of customers to find and create their perfect meal. Starting with a thin circle of dough, I was able to travel down the line and choose anything I wanted, from sauce to cheese to toppings, even a finishing drizzle. The fact that they offered vegan cheese for no extra cost was an incredibly huge plus (I would have been happy enough with the fact that they had it at all). At the end, it went into an oven to bake, and since the dough was so thin, it took merely minutes before they were calling my name for pickup. The dough is definitely different from most thin crust pizzas, having more of the toothsome stretchiness of a tortilla than a true pizza. Still, it was delicious and I polished off my four slices in record time. It was a great meal for a little more than $7, and those who are more or less hungry than I was will appreciate the fact that there is a pizza size for both. The 6-inch crust offers a smaller meal for those with minimal appetites, and the larger size takes TWO crusts (with sauce and cheese) and places them atop each other for what would seem to be a shallow deep dish pizza. The more indecisive customer will enjoy their extensive list of premade combinations, which even includes salads (which can be placed atop asiago crusts so that they're more like a salad pizza). The service was friendly, with everyone at the counter boisterously calling "Welcome to MOD!" as soon as we entered and the manager checking in with us mid-meal to make sure we were doing okay. We enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be back! read more

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! I walked in willing to eat "pizza", and walked out vowing not to settle for anything less than PIZZA! G.M. John was very generous with his time, and shared something that I'll share with you. If you are planning on a large number of toppings, ask for them to be added sparingly. I know, I know, it's counterintuitive, but it makes for a better pizza. My suggestion: If you are planning on lots o' toppings, ask for light sauce - or, better yet, go with olive oil and/or garlic rub. Mind you, this applies to your return visits. Go ahead and go wild on your first visit and just pile on everything! It's a rookie mistake - you may end up with more a casserole than a pizza - but you will still enjoy your meal. The only real negative is the black "crust dust" you end up with on your fingers. I recommend Buffalo sauce to remove! (Oh, and John, I want credit for coining the phrase "crust dust"). read more

Wow! Excellent service and great food. There was a minor glitch in the online system for making a large order. I called to inquire and I cannot say enough nice things about the help manager Tyler, located in the Springwoods Village, TX, gave me. He actually drove my order to my work location himself! He got lost at first and stuck with me until he found the correct location. Tyler is the face of stellar management and was a joy to speak with. The pizza was delicious and still warm. My gluten-free, dairy-free employees were every bit as thrilled as those without dietary restrictions. This place is a gem. read more

Best gluten free crust! Pizza is always great and the Caesar salad is the bomb! They have the good ice!!! LOVE the No name cake. People working there have most always been friendly. Love this place! It's like a very upscale pizza version of Subway. For about $8, you can have an 11 inch circle of deliciousness with as many toppings as you want. Even though I arrived during peak dinner time, the friendly employees quickly took me through the assembly line in record time so don't be put off by a long line! While making my pizza, one of the biggest things that stuck out to me was that they had a huge variety of options that would accommodate even the pickiest eater. From dairy-free cheese to gluten-free crust, they almost have it all. My pizza only took about five minutes to cook and was finished with a nice drizzle of pesto. Yum! I only took off a star because I thought the music was super loud. It made it difficult to hear my name being called for my pizza. Who knows though, I could be going deaf at 20! Anyway, I would definitely come back and try some of their other offerings. Thanks MOD! read more

MOD Pizza - 11 inch pizza with mozzarella, parmesan, chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, red peppers, and tomatoes with a pesto drizzle! - Fast Food Near Me - The Woodlands, Texas

In one word: "FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC!!!" This place is so great! It is the Chipotle of pizza places (someone else said it like Subway for pizza places, but the quality here is far beyond that of Subway) FOOD APPEARANCE: It is what you make of it. Do you have a gourmet side? Craft your own pizza with the 30 or so toppings they have available. Here is my favorite recipe: I always get the MOD 11" size at $7.87 (They also have the min for $4.87 - 6" round, I think; or the Mega pizza for $10.87, I think was the price, and it is two MOD's stacked on top of each other.) Red Sauce (they also have pesto or white sauce) Fresh Basil Mozzerella (on the bottom and the top) Pepperoni Ham Bacon Spicy Italian Sausage Mama's sweet peppers Red Onion Mozzarella (to glue the toppings together) Sprinkle with oregano FOOD TASTE & TEXTURE: Well, if you made yourself a good recipe, it should taste great! One thing I really like is the red sauce. It has a crisp, fresh tomato flavor - it doesn't taste like something that has been sitting in a can and forgotten for the last 4 years. The crust is very light, thin and crisp and has a great 'french bread' sort of flavor quality - but what makes it great is the wood-fired oven. It adds a little extra smoky quality to the crust. The rest of it is up to your imagination. AMBIANCE: Relaxed, Very Casual, Very Laid Back. Tall tables and stools or benches to sit on. There are MOD stickers pasted all over some of the walls - kinda cool. The pictures on the walls are very location specific and pretty cool. I have never had the shakes or a salad. I can't speak to them, but I know they are offered. They have beer by the glass or carafe, but I don't drink beer , so couldn't tell you anything there. I took my three kids to MOD once, but when all they want is a cheese pizza, it isn't worth it to me. I'd rather sneak away for lunch and selfishly enjoy one by myself (or take my lovely wife with me when we can break away.) I'd totally recommend this place. I have introduced 4 of my coworkers to it, and they all think it is fan-freakin'-tastic!!! read more

My family and I normally love MOD Pizza. The location in Portofino Shopping Center is consistently awesome. We decided to try the location here on Kuykendahl at Woodlands Parkway and it was the worst. The employees were atrocious but at least the didn't give a damn either. The pizza was poorly prepared and the pies were not even cut up correctly if at all. Total waste of a dinner. We will never go back.
