Well, I can safely say that Tony's Pizzeria has ended my search in Central Texas! I first heard about Tony's through Yelp's recommendation, and my wife and I decided to give it a try. Located in west Killeen, Tony's is easy to reach with a simple turn off of Elm's road. It is within a plaza, and the sign simply reads: PIZZA. Hours are located on the door, and you can find the name "Tony's" plastered on the windows. I walked in, and the slightly hazed interior with employees that gazed at me with the intensity of a NY stare let me know I made an excellent choice. I was welcomed in, and my food was ready upon entry. They thanked me for being a customer, and hoped to see me again. We got the meat lover's 16" pizza, and it was amazing! The flavor was rich, the meat was not overpowering the cheese to sauce ratio, and the crust was so flaky and sweet it felt as if a caring mother made it. My wife and I remarked to one another about the great flavor, and were excited about making this our pizza spot. Thank you Tony's for a top tier pie, and an unforgettable experience!

My order taker was very courteous and was very happy to serve. They ran out of the calzone that I was interested in and they made it fresh. I ordered the chicken calzone with real mozzarella. I was happy that it wasn't too hot to eIt was super crusty on the outside and moist on the inside. It came with the right amount of sauce. I also ordered a side salad which was very fresh. I was impressed that they separated the cheese in case you were lactose intolerant. You have a choice between Italian and ranch dressings. I am extremely full. I think you would be impressed with the flavors and freshness here. I would definitely recommend this place based on my visit today. Update: Miss Kim has a great team, and they shout your order out loud as the dining room is the food court. The Five Cheese Tortillini with meat sauce was very good! Watch out ... it's hot! The breadstick tastes better with the dish. It's a lot of food for the price! Enjoy!!

The food was disappointing overall. Everything had too much pepper, the fries were mushy, and the salad was soggy. The garlic knots also had very little garlic, which was surprising. The bright spot was the customer service. Dewana, and I apologize if I misspelled her name, was amazing. She was kind, helpful, and truly stood out. I hope she finds a place that gives her even better opportunities because she deserves it. I really wanted to enjoy the food again, but this visit was highly disappointing.
