It's 12/24/20 (had last minute change in my birthday dinner plans so had to get a pizza) I ordered an XL pizza with extra bacon, extra cheese and Jalapeños. Super simple pizza with a side of wings and cinnamon sticks. Ended up paying around $42 to get home and to my surprise the pizza literally only had cheese in the middle and it seemed like all the topping were just thrown in the center and tossed into the oven we had to recut the pizza, redistribute the toppings and on top of that there was hardly any cheese on the pizza at all and even less bacon. This has been our favorite pizza place since they opened in our neighborhood, but my experience tonight may change that. I ordered a large and a small on the app for pick up. When I brought them home and opened the boxes I realized they had made the small with the same toppings as the large instead of how I ordered it. When I called them I was told that I had to bring the incorrect one back in and they would make them right one. I took this to mean that they had to see the incorrect one, but when I got there I had to give back the incorrect one to get the replacement. I questioned the decision during a pandemic to have food brought back into the store. They assured me that it would be immediately thrown in the trash. When I suggested that I could just keep it since the error was theirs, I had to drive back and wait for the replacement and my other pizza was at home getting cold. I also asked for my money back and was told that letting me keep it or refunding were against company policy. I just think this was horrible customer service. read more

I really wish I had access to these reviews and could help y'all out! I'm a former manager, since late 2019- early 2020 the store and employees are not the same! Former employees won't even order from this store anymore! Refunds are not against company policy, there kind of difficult to do but I've done them. I'm unsure of the "new manager, Andy" he's the franchise owner. This store was my baby. I spent so many hours in this store even on my days off. Sadly, Andy wasn't able to keep his store in order nor was he able to properly help his management team. He offered the GM $10 hr. That's .25 more than I made as a hourly manager. I don't know how badly this store is now, haven't stepped foot in it in almost 1.5 years, I miss it but do not miss the extreme stress level. Always having to work with a ghost crew because "labor and sales". I had to constantly go in on my days off because other managers were over worked as well as myself and needed to go do stuff. I opened and closed same days, I opened closed open back to back. He couldn't keep a proper GM in there because of "rules". Then to top it off he told a new manager there that I was "lazy and didn't work" yet I was the one called when there was an inspection the next day, I was the one who kept the store organized and I never told a coworker that I wouldn't come in to let them leave. We've been at Marco's Pizza several times and until tonight it was good. Tonight I sat in the drive thru for over 10 minutes with no one coming to the window. When someone finally came to the window they were like sorry for the wait we are busy. I was like really I've seen people go in after I pulled up and been helped. The pizza was perfect, which is great because my son is picky about his pizza. It was very cheesy and had tons of ingredients on it. The staff was helpful, and the store was very neat and clean. We ordered delivery through the website and had a nice surprise when we opened our pizza boxes. The pizzas had clearly been dropped as half the toppings were on the roof of the box and the pizzas were all smooshed to one side of the box. Disappointed since we spent nearly $40 and half of each pizza was inedible and all messed up. Didn't give one star because we had a good experience last time and we do like the pizza a lot. If the driver or an employee dropped them they should have looked at them first to make sure they were okay before continuing with the delivery. I order from Marcos several times a month for a large family. Like any other restaurant there have been mistakes made in the past but they have always been taken care of. My last order the salads were messed up with missing toppings and wrong toppings. When I called they were immediately replaced. Today I ordered a salad and didn't get it. I was upset and called and spoke to the general manager. It was the most pleasant complaint I have ever had to make. She sounded sincere and explained to me that she had recently taken over that store and they had a new staff. Having worked in the food industry most of my life I understand completely. She apologized and had my salad sent right out to me. There was no frustration and the conversation ended on a positive not which is why I am giving 5 stars even though there were mistakes. He continued to hold a playful conversation with a coworker. I then said "hello" thinking maybe he just didn't know he answered. He responded "hello" and then passed the phone to a young lady. They continued to talk so again I said "hello" and the young lady responded "hello". I had to ask if I was calling Marco's pizza and she responded "yes". I then had to coach the conversation to get my order placed. When I pulled up to the window to pick up my order I witnessed two young workers play fighting before acknowledging me at the window. They saw me but continued to play before coming to the window. When one opened the window I had to again coach her through what was going on. After I paid I asked to speak to a manager to see what the protocol was and the gentleman seemed confused about everything.
