Always a good experience stopping at Tapatias. You can go inside or opt for the drive thru. Like most of the Tapatias locations I've been to, there's also a mini shop inside if you need other items. We've been here multiple times and the customer service and food options are always too good. Prices are very reasonable. My husband and I have gotten the tacos, tortas, chicken and rice and recently took my mom who ordered the enchiladas. The chicken, cheese and rice is my favorite as it comes with a lot of food and has just the right amount of flavor. Also comes with their homemade tortillas which are perfectly made. The chicken enchiladas could use a bit more flavor, but they're still good. You can never go wrong with a Mexican food from a place like Tapatias. One of our favorite spots in the city. read more

Decided to try them for quick takeout since our normal place was closed today. They have definitely gotten very stingy with their food and their meat is in tiny pieces now. The prices have more than doubled from the photos on this site and the amount of food has decreased a lot. For $16 you should get more than 3 ounces of meat on a 2 meat plate. So I ordered the asada plate and got asada fries didn't know that existed but sure I called and returned the plate and the lady at the window said I had to pay $5.50 difference for the actual plate I ordered ... I told her why she said we'll we can't give you the plate for free ..I said no one is asking for anything for free when I called and ordered you charged me for the items I ask for....I ened up paying the additional money but that's besides the point no apologies of any kind this is the last time I get anything from this place and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone either. My son and I had breakfast here on a Sunday just after 11am. I chose the Combo Botana: Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Country Sausage, and 1/2 cheese quesadilla with lettuce, tomatoes, rice and sour cream. It was so delicious! The meats were sautéed with peppers and onions. There was enough to make three or four tacos. We also bought a couple boxes of Duvalín, some Mexican sodas, and toasted coconut stacks from the store. We will definitely be back! read more

This place is the definition of traditional Mexican food. I was highly impressed. As someone who travels to Mexico regularly for work, the quality of the food is on par with those small places in Aguascalientes MX. staff is friendly and attentive, which also speak Spanish. If you leave here wanting a taste of Mexico at home, they have a deli, and imported Mexican food on a small shelf area. The coolers have Mexican beer as well! read more

Outstanding Mexican Food! I have been a loyal fan of this restaurant for the past few years. This was my first meal back after returning from a 9 month rotation, and a place I go to multiple times a week following morning training. The food is amazing (I normally get theCarne-Asada, Potato and Egg burrito for breakfast) and the Aguas Frescas (Horchata and Pineapple Juice) are the best in town! So far the only breakfast tacos in KILLEEN that do not serve you dried out eggs. I've had their chicken flautas And delicious. Take a chance, go for it. I will say pretty much any breakfast taco place I've gone too their red/green salsa tear my stomach up, this one too but always good going down lol. First time here as I was invited to join my friends family as we're all just visiting the area for the weekend.. Unfortunately, my enchiladas were made with canned chicken and not shredded as they're traditionally made. It was still in its canned shape. All of their orders looked good, though.
