First time visiting this place and it hit all of our Tex-Mex requirements. Absolutely delicious…read moresalsa, crispy thick chips and a really festive atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The enchiladas were nice and greasy just like I love them. I also had a Birria taco with cheese and they dipped it in the yummy consume before serving. Yummy!!!! We live in Austin but the next time we are on I35 in Bellmead this will certainly be a stop we have to make.

I ordered a queso and an adult drink she got a water. I allowed my 20yr daughter to have a drink of my adult drink. A waitress came running over saying in broken English ID ID!! I said I am her mother I am 50 and I am allowing her to have some of my drink. Another male waiter said Oh ok I understand and tried to explain to her as she did not appear to speak much english but she shoved him away like WHAT THE HECK. Next thing you know 4 ladies surrounded our booth saying they needed her ID. I said she is 20 and I am her mother the law allows me to let MY child have a drink of my drink. She states although the law allows, they do not allow that there and they needed to "confiscate" the drink. I understand that maybe their policy but the way it was handled was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. We just got up and left our food and everything.

The pizzas are individual, hand-stretched, Neapolitan-style. The crusts are thin, and the…read morewood-fired pizza oven cooks them to perfection. Neapolitan pizza is something like a culinary ancestor to New York pizza, which has more mozzarella cheese and a somewhat sweeter sauce. The Italian salads and entrees are also excellent. The Chef-Owner trained in Italy, and it shows. Service is friendly, competent and responsive. The ambiance is modern, although I think the seating and tabletops are fairly basic. All in all, the pizzas are the stars of the menu, and well worth it as an authentic taste of classic Neapolitan cuisine.

Personally, everything for me was delicious, the loss of a star is for the outrageous 5$ fee for…read moregluten free "crackers" to accompany the whipped ricotta appetizer we had. They tasted just like a tortilla chip though soooo... I think 2$ is more appropriate (menu also had GF at 4$ and then we were charged 5$ at the end in which I thought I'd be getting gluten free bread too but alas, the app was really really good - a friends complaint is that it could use more lemon flavor, I can see that too) I was also charged 4$ for my gluten free pasta, but the dish was so so so good. The creamy sauce was absolutely incredible. I had the shrimp scampi along with a blueberry syrup mocktail and I was completely satisfied. Also had a taste of the blueberry martini which was also very good. My friend had the lasagna which she rated at 3 stars and said it was overcooked but the sauce was good. My sister had the lobster ravioli and it was undercooked, too al dente for her liking and was dissatisfied as it was the most expensive thing on the menu. My sister would go back, my friend would not, and i definitely would. Service was very nice. I just looked at my receipt and there is a charge for "rustic bread" so I'm not sure what that is... did they charge us for both the GF crackers AND the bread that should have been included in the appetizer? That's also not cool.
