I ordered the Quesadillas it was awful mushy cold I think they made it up prior and reheated it it's supposed to be a little crunchy it was bad the chicken had chicken joints in it and bones I almost chocked. I would recommend avoiding this business at all cost. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive through for my order. I very kindly asked the drive through worker why it took 15 minutes for my order. She shrugged her head said she wasn't the cook, and walked away from the drive through window. When I went inside to speak to the manager, the manager did not speak any english and it had to be translated via another worker. Absolutely nothing was said or done about the poor and terrible customer service I was subjected to. While the food is of traditional sit down with the family have a great meal style, it is folk like Max and Brittney and Xochil manning thee restaurant, that makes going there worthwhile. My husband popped in here while our car was charging at the Tesla super charger. Collin Street Bakery's deli was closed and we were hungry. We got the chicken tacos and absolutely loved them!! Food was actually pretty good. Nice looking place and nice employees. Only problem is immediately after eating my stomach bloated up and I spent the next 2 days pouring water out of my ass. Not fun at all. Not sure what was bad. The meat was cooked and tasted great. I'm guessing it was the nacho cheese which was kinda thick and looked as if it had been reheated from a prior day. Either way spending your weekend on the toilet is not worth the taste of the food. I'll give it 4 stars for the food and 1 Star for the pain and suffering. Equals out at a 2. Weary road-warriors, stumbling in for a hot meal. After a long day driving on vacation, we stopped at pollo regio and we left recharged and happy (if a little bit too full!). This location is closed to Indoor dining which was a bummer so we quickly improvised and had a "picnic in the parking lot". Half chicken plate was superior as was the tostada Siberia. Used to love this place but this location disappointed. Customer service was lacking, the staff barely cracked a smile or said a kind word. It was as if they didn't want to serve me (yes I had a mask on) and then they messed my order up but to their credit they fixed it. The food however was on point as usual. Food was delicious and their customer service was outstanding! I had to go to Waco for work. I had been there a week and was sick and tired of burgers. So, I remembered I had passed this restaurant on the freeway driving in from Dallas. There are several of these restaurants in Dallas, so I knew that this yummy chicken is what I needed. It's mesquite grilled with Mexican rice, charro beans and tortillas. They give you TWO salsas with the half chicken meal. Try the avocado-based green salsa. It's not spicy, but it's delicious! We've visited this location several times. The food is usually delicious and fresh. I especially enjoy the fresh chips & salsa! The only issue we've encountered is there have been a couple of instances where they are out of items such as the chips and different salsas. I will continue to visit this location and hope Pollo Regio is here to stay! read more

Tried this place for the first time during lockdown while they were only allowing drive-thru. It took them a while to get the food out, but that's no big deal. Our order came out completely messed up, Chicken salad had fried chicken and burrito had guacamole even when we explicitly told them to not include that. No offense but the lack of communication can probably be attributed to some of the workers who don't seem to speak English. Maybe once this place starts doing Dine-in again it'll be better with orders. read more

WOW is the first word that comes to my mind , I came for a conference at Baylor University which lasted well until dinner time. Some of us wanted something better then KFC and healthier. One of my friends recommend this place. Fresh chickens ,salsas, pretty good side dishes. We jumped on it. We got there and we were right away greeted with some nice smiles It was pretty busy. ( Good sign) We are from LA. , if it's not busy it's not worth checking out. Amada the cashier took our orders ( nice gal ) and the price was reasonable. Did I mention we kinda followed the smell from a block away. That smell of goodness in the air .
