I was told by the young man who answered the phone that they no longer take orders for pizzas with 3 toppings for their buy1/get1 free pizza deal on Tuesdays. When I asked when that changed ( I have been ordering the same pizzas on Tuesdays for over a year) I was told LAST WEEK?? I've been getting subs as long as I've been old enough to eat. Every kid in Whitman loves their meatball subs. They have the best sub bread around. Since the early 90s they even have been making pizza. Their best pizza is the BBQ Chicken. Make sure you aren't there on an early release day for the middle school up the street. Then it is over run with punk kids (I was one once). The only reason they don't get five stars is because the help can be lackluster. They seem to go through phases of good part time high school aged kids. read more

Very poor customer service. Placed an order over the phone that included a buffalo chicken sub and I specifically said extra extra blue cheese, like dripping blue cheese. Picked up my order, drove home, sat down to eat and surprise- no detectable blue cheese on this thing and a big container full of extra BUFFALO SAUCE! Wow Thanks! When I called to let them know the response from the girl was an emotionless sorry and if you want to drive back I'll give you more blue cheese. Seriously! Absolute jerks here! All I got was a sub took an hour and a half to get to me it was cold and it was a mess! Then the women who delivered my sub was so rude to me and mumbled such rude things under her breath as she walked away because someone took down the wrong number when I ordered and yelled at me for not answering her. Thought I would try a knew sandwich shop on the way home from work since Mia Casa closed last week. What a mistake it was to stop. Waited a half hour for a Roast Beef sandwich and Onion rings. The Roast beef sandwich was the smallest I every saw. Usually that sandwich should come heaping with beef. Not so here. Onion rings were frozen and I had a portion of 10 onion rings for $4.50..the sandwich was $7:95 I think. I appreciate a good sandwich but it just seemed like this onion roll sandwich didn't make the cut, 10 frozen onion rigs for $4.50 definitely to much. HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!!!!!!! Used to love this place, but recently their food and customer service has gone down the drain. I placed 3 orders in about a 2 week time period, every time they were cold. Also, the time frame for pickup and delivery were much longer than quoted. Finally I called and complained to the manager "Steve" He said I would have a credit for 2 subs. I called today and spoke to "Mo" the general manager requesting my credit be applied to my order I was placing at 1p. She said I would have to order when Steve was working because there is no record of it. Also if I wanted to speak to someone higher up it would be the owners who were not in until 8a tomorrow. I really want this place to be better. The food isn't bad, it's actually not bad.... but the service is regularly poor. The owner has a bad attitude and when things are busy, you can often hear him speaking to his staff unprofessionally. Additionally, they are terrible and estimating times for take out. Today, my wife ordered two subs, she was told 15-20 minutes, she arrived after 20 minutes, wasn't ready.... in total her order wasn't ready until 40 minutes. When my wife complained they just shrugged their shoulders, no apology. Other times, we've gotten the wrong subs and we are greeted with hostility when we call to report the issue. Which they ask you to come back and bring the wrong sub.... no offer to deliver the right sub to you....last comment, if you go for subs, make sure you get a coupon for the bogo, because otherwise they are just way overpriced. Marcello's has fresh soft flaky sub rolls which are cut to small, medium, and large sizes from a 36" long sub roll (you can order the full length sub roll if you call ahead). The meat and cheese they use are supplied by a local company in Brockton but handsliced in their kitchen. They make their own greek dressing and pizza sauce daily. Marcello's also uses a blend of cheddar and mozarella cheese on their pizza which gives it a sharper taste than other pizza shops in the area. If you're driving down Rt. 18 I recommend stopping here for lunch on the go or pizza takeout. read more

Ordered a small cheese pizza and a cold Syrian pocket vegetable sandwich for delivery. Was told it would be delivered within 25 minutes, over 1 hour and food finally arrives and pizza is extremely cold, and sandwich pocket has very few vegetables in it. Called to complain and the woman who answers could care less, no apology or attempt to make things right just blamed my cold pizza on the delivery driver and lack of vegetables on person preparing the food. Just got out of Childrens Hospital after getting my daughters port out after 25 months of chemo. Ordered Marcello's and went to pick it up. After I got home the order was wrong. I called to let them know the guy that answered was very nice and said they would remake my sandwich but I had to bring back the sandwich that was wrong. I told him during this time bringing a sandwich back that I already brought home was not acceptable. He got the manager. The manager Bill answered the phone with well what do you want me to do for you. I said well I don't think it is acceptable to ask for a sandwich back during this time. He said well we have to so you can prove it was wrong. I told him well then I don't want to eat at your establishment. He responded with LADY! LADY! LADY! I said who are you saying lady to!! His response was now your getting nothing and hung up on me. My husband was on his way home from work so I told him to stop by there and get our money back. I sent him a picture of the incorrect order. He went in and told the manager to give him the money back. Bill proceeded to take the money out of the register and throw it on the counter. Then took the sandwich that they remade for us threw it on the counter and smashed it with his hands and said and that is what happens when you don't ask nicely. Have had several issues with this restaurant in the past. Most recently ordered two Italian subs, when we picked them up there was only meat and cheese on the subs, no veggies. After calling in and confirming over the phone that two new subs would be delivered, someone showed up at our door with just the toppings, and even then only enough for one sub. The pizza here is very tasty, but very greasy. While I lived in Whitman this was one of my favorite pizza places but I've since had my eyes opened to the North End. The Service here is okay and the dining room isn't great. They serve beer which is nice, was not a fan of the House Salad. read more

I literally joined Yelp just to post this. Speaks volumes! On June 16, 2017 I placed an order for 3 subs for pick up (2 roast beef & 1 Italian). I picked them up but when I got home and opened them they had nothing on them. We had ordered everything on them except tomato, 2 had nothing and the Italian only had lettuce. I called and spoke with the manager, Bill Sears, he apologized and assured me he would give me a credit of $20.47, the amount we paid. I just called him to get the replacement order, he informed me that the owner had made those sandwiches that night, & said that they made them correctly and now they won't honor the $20.47 credit. Also, because I kept the sandwiches that day, I got a meal, no matter that it was wrong...I got the food. Seriously?!?!? Bill Sears was extremely rude about the entire matter and could've cared less that he had an unhappy (formerly loyal) customer. When I go to work tomorrow, I will be sure to tell all my Whitman co-workers about this. read more
