I don't recommend this place due to a complete lack of accountability and poor customer service…read more I placed an order through their website using the Slice app and received a confirmation text saying it would be ready at 6:08 PM. Since the location was only about 6 minutes away, I left at 6:00. I initially went to the Brockton location, but they didn't have my order. I immediately called the Whitman location (the correct one linked in my confirmation), and the owner/manager told me they didn't have my order either and suggested it might be at the Brockton location--which I had already confirmed wasn't the case. After checking again, I called back, and he said they would "look into the Slice app" since they hadn't received the order and would start making it, with a 30-minute wait. By then, I had already been waiting about an hour. When I arrived, I was told they hadn't even started cooking my food. The manager said it would be another 20 minutes and made a dismissive comment about possibly making my order sooner if they finished someone else's first. There was no apology, no accountability--just attitude. After waiting even longer, I finally got my food, only to have the owner try to blame me for going to the wrong location, even though I had contacted the correct one right away and was told the order wasn't there. He then claimed the Slice app "doesn't work properly" and that I should call instead. I later contacted Slice, and they told me the owner reported that I went to the wrong location and they couldn't accommodate me--which is not true. If the Slice app doesn't work, why use it at all? This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and handled very unprofessionally. I won't be returning or recommending this place.

The place felt like the old place my dad used to buy 25cent chow mein sandwiches in my hometown. No decorations, old building. It's about grabbing a beer and eatting pizza. I like the simplicity. I did like that they offered to basically throw anything on a pizza: French fries, onions rings, shaved steak- whatever they got! We went with pepperoni and a linguica pizza. We always order bar pies laced and well done. Cooked to perfection. Good flavor. Just enough sauce. I like this place. Why not a five? I have tried about 20 bar pizza places and I just like a few other places better. I would say so far this place is in my 5th or 6th place ranking at this time. (I did laugh at the waitress explaining a salad without lettuce that's on their menu to another table.)

There were plenty of seats at the bar but we opted for a booth in the dining area. Look, this is a local dive bar catering to locals. You could come dressed in your pajamas. It's not pretentious There was a table of 12 local teachers all decked out in shamrock tees and Scally caps--always a good sign, and as a retired teacher, I applauded them still being out long after the school bell rang. But I digress. Service appeared to be provided by a mere two women working both sides. Getting their attention did take a few minutes, but we cut them slack. Once we had it, our server was very friendly and answered my questions as a Venus first-timer. I had a Down East hard cider (can, not on draught). We ordered the Greek salad and it was explained as a non-lettuce traditional. It was loaded with cukes, tomatoes, banana peppers, bell peppers, two kinds of onions, roasted red peppers, feta and olives. Table condiments consist of salt, pepper, packets of Parmesan & red pepper flakes. There are no real silverware or plates--all disposable with napkin dispensers on the table. I got a bacon with pineapple (tidbits not crushed) with burnt edges. My friend got an onion pizza cooked as per their usual. We very much enjoyed the pies. I think the bacon made mine a tad salty, and the sauce may be slightly on the sweet side. Pineapple didn't help my tastebuds in terms of discerning flavors. My crust and edges were perfection. Crispy and no flop. My friend's onion was actually the star--an assemblage of non-uniform onions sprinkled on top allowed me to taste the sauce more readily. I'm not ready to say for certain how other SSBPs compare, but I very much enjoyed my dinner. Had I the room, I would have ordered their plain cheese and pepperoni. Next time!

The Honey Bacon Bianca was probably the most interesting of the three and definitely stood out. If you look at their online order website picture of their House Special pizza filled with toppings and green peppers and onions and compare it to what you actually get, the difference is striking! It's not even 1/3 full with ingredients. Our friends, family, and I have noticed that toppings have been less and less each time we get their House Special pizza that we might as well just get a regular pizza for a lower price and then buy the toppings of green peppers and onions, etc ourselves since they've been skimping on the toppings. Our latest pizza showed decreased toppings for a $28+ large House Special. Either BHOP changes the picture on their website, since that is an inaccurate and misleading depiction of the House Special pizza you're going to get, or they can start putting more toppings that at least comes close to the website picture of what a House Special pizza should be. The said, the thing is they used to give adequate toppings, but lately been skimping on toppings. The rest of their other food is good, but just highly disappointed in the lack of toppings of their House Special pizza as you can see from the picture. Compare it to the other House Special pizza pictures that were posted on yelp before and their website, and you'll see the stark difference!

Over the years, I've grown up with Georgio's, and I can honestly say that I've explored only a fraction of their extensive menu because there's so much variety something for everyone. Whether it's roast beef, pizza, wings, calzones, pasta, seafood, burgers, salads, subs, dinners served with fries, rice, onion rings, mashed potatoes, vegetables, or soup, there's always a warm, welcoming option. When you step into Georgio's, you immediately feel a sense of togetherness. The inviting aroma of delicious food fills the air, and the open-concept kitchen allows you to see the hardworking, friendly staff who greet you with genuine smiles; that feeling of care and community means a lot. Their food is truly exceptional; describing every item would take forever, but one thing I can promise is that each dish is made with love. If you're a fan of steak, you must try their honey barbecue steak tips; they're so good they've kept me guessing for over 20 years about their secret marinade. The steak is juicy, savory, sweet, earthy, and smoky, perfectly complemented by a caramelized, crispy crust. I prefer mine cooked to medium; honestly, I've been to many upscale steakhouses, but Georgios's flavor is unmatched. This hidden gem in Brockton has become a place I cherish, and I believe it deserves recognition for its incredible value. They're more than just a family business; they're a heartfelt staple in Brockton. Coming from Lisbon, Portugal, I have a deep love for good food, and I truly believe the quality at Georgios is one of a kind.
