She rang me up and bagged it. I trusted she was charging me and giving me the BIG bottle SHE SHOWED ME, that we pointed at, looked at and held up. Nope! I get home and it's the smaller bottle. Nykhi'a from Marc Jacob is a JEWEL for any employer I work for the United States Fed Gov, and I travel throughout the country and made a stop to shop in the desert premium outlet in late April 2024. I was robbed in Houston about two weeks ago, leaving another premium mall and lost a lot of my beautiful items, including Mark Jacob. I called back for assistance to order the same thing that I purchased in April after have being devastated for being robbed for thousands of merchandise out of my rental car. Nykhi'a assisted me for days tracking down items that I wanted to repurchased, she made it so smooth and easy while also offered me other beautiful pieces of suggested to purchase, and I did. Great selection and value, but what stood out most was the EXCELLENT service! A young lady by the name of Jay absolutely made our day! It was my wife's birthday and we were shopping all day to find her a new purse. Unfortunately we didn't have any luck at the first 10+ stores we visited, but that all changed when we were greeted by Jay at Marc Jacobs. The store was packed, but Jay was patient and insightful while helping my wife and 3 daughters find exactly what they wanted. We ended up leaving with multiple purses, wallets, and accessories, all of which Jay added her expertise. The world needs more workers like Jay - I'd hire her in an instant! I went into the Marc Jacobs store looking for a nice wallet, not thinking I would find such a great one in there for a great price! I saw one I liked, asked one of the employees, Eddie, if I could look at it outside of the glass. He happily grabbed it for me and I liked it a lot. I was still thinking about it, and I knew there was a lady wanting to take a peek at it too, so I gave it back to Eddie for her to look at. Once I made up my mind that I wanted it, Eddie then let me know that was the last one! I was bummed out to say the least, and Eddie was also bummed that he didn't know how interested I was in it. He right away asked me if I wanted to get it mailed from another store in CA and that he would call them right now and waive the shipping. I jumped on it. He gave such amazing customer service while I was in the store and got me my wallet! I then got a text from him following up on the wallet and him just letting me know I should be getting it that Friday when I went on Sunday. Came back for another visit and the store is still kept very tidy. They only keep a few of the item on the floor and always check if they have a new one still packaged in the back when you make your purchase. The selection is still amazing. Went in to browse and possibly purchase a bag last week, was interested in seeing what they had in store but my interest quickly disappeared after entering such an unwelcoming environment. I was the only one shopping in the store at the time but was not greeted with a welcome instead just quick glances from the two sales associate working. Rather than provide customer service the two hispanic women, one middle aged and short the other taller and quite young, continued to gossip amongst themselves about their own coworkers, unknowing that I understood spanish as well. After walking around in the store they finally came to talk to me after I picked up a bag, obviously only interested in a self serving type of way. As a business owner myself this experience bothered me so that I declined their offer to get a new bag for me. Every long weekend, I go to the Cabazon outlet mall with my family. So last weekend for President's day we went to the Cabazon outlet mall..:-) To be honest with you, out of all the designers out there, Marc Jacobs, is the least that I am familiar with... I am more like a Kate Spade and Tory Burch fan... My sister walked into the Marc Jacobs store, so I followed her... I was actually very pleasantly surprised of how of a good deals they had.... I mean OMG! They had swim suits for 90% off making them to be like $20 each.... Almost all of the items in the store were at least 50% to 90% off... Since my manager's bd was coming up, I wanted to buy her a gift... So when I saw that the Lola lotion was on sale I grabbed one and headed toward the register. It was on sale for $11 from $45! So I had to go back and grab couple more because it was basically buy ONE get THREE free.... :-) I thought the service was just great... Jason the manager of the store was helping customers and his staff was very friendly as well... From now on I will for sure put Marc by Marc Jacobs store on my TO GO list when I visit the outlet...:-) read more

I went in to buy some gifts for Xmas. The store was very neat and had lots of merchandise. They still had a ton of room despite the big crowd of people looking around. Pretty good markdowns; 30-40% off retail. The staff was very helpful and assisted me so much with gift ideas for the price and personalities I was shopping for. Check out was fast, and they were so cute and generous about the gift wrapping situation. If only the Los Angeles MBMJ store was as helpful and polite, because they are douches there. read more

Shopped here during the Black Friday frenzy and was pleasantly surprised to find that the employees in here were not crazed and were quite the opposite, very calm and helpful yet not too pushy. One employee stood out from the rest. His name was Orlando L. We needed to buy some products for Christmas gifts and wanted to ensure that they were sealed and in pristine condition. The first employee was not very helpful, nor patient and not very courteous. However Orlando came to the rescue and searched/inspected each item one by one to ensure that the products were as expected. He was very attentive, professional and efficient, so much so that I actually thought he was the store manager. Because of his excellent customer service we walked out with two large (heavy) bags of goodies for all our friends and family. We were so thrilled with his level of service that we actually returned the following day to buy more items from him. He even gave a free gift item in appreciation of our volume purchase. While shopping at this location, my cousin and i had found a few cute bags. After working with a young man wearing black and a cross body bag (you can check the camera to verify) , we bought 1 black cross body medium size bag. After 15 minutes from the purchase, i decided to go back and return the bag. There were about 4 employees crowded by the cashier and they were all whispering together, giggling, and rudely told me they do not return any items immediately after i asked to return my purchase. I purchased the item 15 minutes prior to the return time and was denied a return because "they do not do returns or exchanges." They also stated that the i could speak with the manager if i would like but she is busy and can't see me for a while.. The manager eventually came out and stated she would not do anything, she walked to the back to speak with "someone", and then came out and offered store credit. I work within retail and support the Greater Los Angeles market for my company. I have worked in the front line and know what it means when the manager needs to "go to the back to check on something" which is why we hold individuals accountable for poor customer experience! If you plan to hire 18-22 year olds at your store, i recommend that you coach/develop your frontline to execute your company core values. It is extremely upsetting that your employees do not explain your policy to customers. I do not know your policy because i do not work here nor is it my job to do my own research prior to shopping here. Had your employees explained that all purchases were final sale, then i would not have made the decision to purchase it since i was still shopping around. Now i am stuck with a store credit that i won't end up using. Thank you for hustling your customers and still taking money from them because your employee are shady and do not explain your policy. read more

Despite an array of associates standing around talking amongst themselves I suggest they pay attention to their customers. I causally walk in and make eye contact with 3 associates and not 1 greets me! Is it the color of my skin, because I look young, or my nationality? I begin to puruse the store from front to back still no hi or hello. Pick up some purses to compare (10 mins passes) Still no acknowledgement. I continue to make my rounds and wait about 15 mins and was drastically turned off by the way this store provides customer service. I approach an associate and told her no one had greeted me or offered help and her response was "sorry about that". I was hoping she would offer help then, so I would be more inclined to continue to make my purchases but she offered no sign of remorse! Sad part is, I was ready to make a large purchase which they lost. I've had better service at a fast food restaurant! read more

I almost never leave yelp reviews but this was definitely an exception. I went to the outlet and asked them if they had this specific shirt way back in July when I was in Palm Springs on vacation. They told me they might be getting it in a future shipment so I left my information so they could call if they got it in. So a couple months goes by and in October I got an email from Alexandra letting me know that they had the shirt. I was like stunned because I couldn't find the shirt anywhere and I kinda gave up on it and for someone to remember that I came in asking for it months ago was really remarkable. It was raining and very cold today. They had a line outside. 5 people left, they let 3 people in. I was the only one left outside. I asked if he could also let me in because I am pregnant and I am getting wet under the rain. He said no and shut the door. All they are trying to do is maintain a line outside to make it look popular. Inside wasn't even crowded. Later the ass. Mgr came - because the mgr was not here (on thanksgiving weekend!). Came in on my way down to Palm Springs. I didn't even know that a Marc Jacobs outlet existed, and given he's one of my favorite designers, I was beyond excited. Jasmine greeted me, and was incredibly helpful. Although I didn't have a whole lot of time and didn't find anything I couldn't live without, Jasmine offered to add me onto their list of customers that they'll contact when new shipments come in. Love the staff here. Travel from Palm Springs to LA or San Diego very often and stop by just to check out new merch, usually will leave with a few things. The staff is never pushy and are incredibly helpful, they make you feel like a friend shopping with you. The manager Jason is incredible, always very helpful and will pick out a few things he thinks will look great on you. His smile and great attitude are worth the visit. Love this place! I was in Palm Desert for my birthday weekend and decided to stop by the outlets. My friends and I are in love with MJ and was super excited about the new outlet store. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and the energy was infectious. The music was fun and it was busy. Usually outlet stores have second hand decor but this one is so pretty! I started looking at the purses with are on both sides of the store when you walk in. I didn't need a new purse but since they were 40% off I couldn't resist. I'm sort of a plain Jane but I figured I should do soemething different. I seen a cute girl with blonde hair and she seemed pretty stylish so I asked her if she had any recommendations (I believe her name was Alicia, Allison). She showed me a couple that were cute but not really my style. I follow her to the back wall where the purses were 60% off!! Amaze. She helped me find a cute little black and blue crossbody.
