First, the work looked great when they finished. My 20 + year old marble shower looked better than when it was new. These guys know marble. Some minor issues in grouting developed since then. They quickly returned to repair. Will knows his stuff and is a just a pleasure to have in your house. Spectacular service from this company!! Vicky handled all the arrangements via phone, text and emails. Will came to supervise, and Luis did both our bathrooms. Black Marble that the contractor put in and then RUINED. He had a VERY sloppy crew here who took no care of our floors during the gut renovation of our apartment. There were stains and scratches on the tiles that looked liked they'd been there for years. It was truly horrible and super sad. MarbleBLUE rescued these floors in a day. I'm very very surprised that Marbleblue only has one 5 star review - with the level of service and ease of getting everything done, I'd expect them to have a few hundred! I will echo Srini's comment - my experience with Marbleblue was flawless. They are very accommodating and do their best to make sure that you are taken care of. They exist to serve, and serve you well they will. I needed some bathroom marble tops polished to a shine and had at first heard about an independent contractor who quoted me in the range of $1700 for a small sink top and bathtub rim and Marbleblue did it for $500. That is how reasonable their prices are. They came in, did their work unsupervised, and miraculously left the place odorless and cleaner than it was when they came in. Vicky was a dream to work with throughout the process and made sure I got the Certificate of Insurance and Worker's Compensation I needed to get approval from my building to have the work done. Will came with Victor, the person who did the cleaning, both at the start of the cleaning and at the end to talk me through the process, let me ask my questions, give me tips on taking care of the marble post-cleaning, and make sure I was happy with the finished product. I had a wonderful experience dealing with Marbleblue. They were recommended to me by my building management. I had a new kitchen installed 12 years ago and the contractor did not seal the granite in my kitchen properly. I cook daily and after 12 years I had stains on my counter top that I never thought would ever go away!!! My father persuaded me to have my counters cleaned and resealed. Well the granite looks brand new. Vicky the company secretary is very professional and calls you if the workers are delayed. She knows where the workers are at any time. Everything is done in a serious manner : they send you an estimate. The workers know their job well and are very pleasant. I rarely write reviews for contractors, but i was so thrilled with the work and service provided by marble blue. I had to share my excitement and include my 5 star rating as well. We received three quotes and marble blue bid was at middle price wise. I decided to work with marble blue because of their yelp reviews and because i asked two different people who would they recommend for marble tile renewal, and they both suggested marble blue. I guess they are well known in the city. Plus the price difference wasn't to far off from the other two bids. The crew arrived on time down to the second! They worked so hard and meticulously. My marble foyer floor looks amazing, the grout is so clean, the floor looks as good as when we first installed them. I'm also very happy I decided to have them sealed. Overall a 10/10 experience! Stay away. I've never reviewed anything before on Yelp, but after my experience with this company I felt compelled to post. After seeing the high quality reviews for Marbleblue, I requested a quote from them to do some work in my apartment. While they were pleasant to speak to and email with, the quote they provided could be considered an attempt at robbery. $2,000 to clean and seal a granite counter top in my kitchen. $700 to polish a 5x5 bathroom floor. $2,400 to polish and clean a limestone bathroom floor and shower! While their work may be good (I'll never know), this was an attempt to take advantage of someone who they thought wouldn't know any better. Save your money and find someone else. read more

Marble blue just left my apartment in the city, where a slab style marble entry and hallway floor with baseboards were cleaned and polished. The floor and baseboards look brand new, and the workmen left the work area clean. What I was impressed about, was the fact that they regrouted the floor at no additional charge because they felt the grout was discolored and didn't look well with the newly restored marble. Very meticulous of them! Something, I will not complain about. Dealing with contractors isn't an easy process. But they made me feel very comfortable and they were a pleasure to deal with. The bathrooms essentially looked brand new. Any stains that were there when we bought our apartment had disappeared and the bathrooms looked very bright and the shine was amazing. There was a minor mix-up in getting the paperwork done because of the July 4 weekend but as it turned out Vicky sent the paperwork but I never got it. She handled the situation very professionally and tactfully and ultimately sent the paperwork in time for approval. I don't know whether the price was high or low as I didn't really shop around but it was certainly worth it.
