I absolutely love this place! Come here every 3 weeks, they know me by name, are always so patient and kind (even when they are Slammed busy) and my favorite place to get any / all my nail services! Wine is great. During COVID-19, they really took charge and made me feel safe the entire time. Even opening just one day for me alone. The owner and All Technicians are wonderful and I will always go here. read more

This is by far one of my favorite nail spas... ever. Ive been getting mani/pedi and wax services for years and found this place by accident before they were even open. I prayed for the service to be and wonderful as gorgeous as the place is to look at and everything I hoped for came true. Everyone on staff is so friendly and call you by name. I can't be the only one who feels that way because the place stays busy. The take walk-in's as well as reservations and never rush a service when it's your time. There is attention to every detail from the service experience to the environment. The place is immaculate and all services are performed in a very professional manner. MNB has become my nail and wax home, they were definitely worth the wait!! read more

I can highly recommend this nail salon. I always ask for Lan, who I used before and followed to this salon. The salon is lovely and clean and they always take good care of me! Tia McCurdy read more

The nail tech was so rude and violent. She acted like she didn't want to give me a pedicure service. She burned me with the nail drill and taking off my polish that isn't gel with acrylic nippers. She didn't do 2 coats of polish. I am completely traumatized. I will never be back. I don't recommend this place at all!! Over priced and poorly trained as a nail technician. Maybe I suggest she needs to go into retirement. If I could give zero stars I would. But unfortunately I have to select at least 1 star!! read more

Lan is professional and the salon is The cleanest I've ever seen any. Lawn gives amazing leg and foot massages and her polish stays on longer than anyone's. thank you to everyone read more

Absolutely LOVE Laque Nail Bar! Moved to the area in September and have been coming here since! Very clean. Everyone is so sweet and kind. Very helpful and detailed too. I have been coming here since it first opened and I love it! I do SNS nails, but have also gotten pedicures. They always do a great job and listen to any suggestions I make about my nails. Everyone there does great work but Helen and Kevin are very meticulous and always do such a great job. They make sure to go all the way to the cuticle so it doesn't look grown out before it should. The prices are fair. It's about average for this area especially with the excellent work they do. read more

My 2 daughters and I came here tonight for the first time and we are so happy with our results. The nails were exactly what we wanted and are beautiful. The nail techs, Ashley, Kevin & Helen are so kind and did an amazing job. The owner was very welcoming and the complimentary mimosa was tasty. All 3 techs took their time and paid attention to detail. My daughters and I felt very comfortable here. We will definitely be back again. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I even wrote a 5 star review because it was close to home and so beautiful and, seemingly, clean. The day after I got my pedicure my right big toe started to hurt. The nail bed became and infected and had to be lanced and drained. I've never had this happen at a nail salon before. It was very painful and hurt for days. I won't be coming back. Hopefully management will see this post and go over universal precautions with their staff so that this doesn't happen to someone else in the future. read more

Health risk!!!! Absolutely will not be back and will be reporting to TDLR. Attempts to use unsanitary tools, cut me and made me bleed, then used a bottle of cuticle oil on my OPEN, BLEEDING WOUND. The next person is lucky I have no diseases, but if they did this to me they could do it with anyone and the next bleeding person may not be disease-free. First of all, I am a salon owner and I am completely up to speed on correct health practices in nail salons. The woman doing my pedicure (nametag said Lan) was going to start my service with an already opened package of tools, so I asked to have a new, unopened, sanitized package. This made her visibly upset and she was incredibly rude during the whole service. And I could tell she was not rude to other customers because she smiled and talked to her next guest. I'm sorry, but it is THE LAW to use unopened, sanitized tools on every person, so my request was 100% valid and is part of my responsibility as a consumer to advocate for myself. The nail file had visible marked where someone else's nails were filed with it. The pedicure was awful - polish all over the cuticles and my nails are not smooth. Lastly as I mentioned above, my manicurist (Hannah) was very aggressive with my cuticles, clipped them WAY too close (they aren't supposed to clip them back at all the way she did it, it's against code), and cut my cuticles, making me bleed. She was very unsanitary in the way she worked and there's a bottle of cuticle oil in that place with my blood in it. Be aware. read more

I just went here the other day, about 8 months pregnant. they cut my toe so badly that i didn't stop bleeding for the entire time i was there, about an hour and a half. they proceeded to put barbicide (a cleaning agent for their TOOLS) on the cut over and over and over and gauze that filled up with blood every time. after more than an hour of being terrified that it would happen again and dealing with the bleeding/pain, etc i had them just stop. i left with that toe undone and could not get the bleeding to stop until the next day. the cut was quite significant. i definitely don't recommend going here if you are pregnant with ANY sort of swelling as this was not a relaxing experience whatsoever. will not be going here again. fyi there are many reviews here about this place using unsanitary practices.. read more

Pros: Pretty and new and clean. Cons: 1) If you are going for a regular pedicure you will get the most inexperienced tech. All of the experienced techs. go to the clients who are getting or spending more on services. 2) No TV's or mags. Instead you are forced to stare a a wall that looks like a jail cell with bars unless you want to stare at your cell phone the whole time. 3) You are also forced to listen to other clients yakking on their cell phones when you are trying to relax. They should have some kind of policy about that. 4) Because of my inexperienced tech the water was barely warm, (I heard other techs asking their clients how they preferred their water temp). I walked out with uneven and jagged toenails, but the polish job was good. To the owner: I am a great tipper, and I do not demand or ask for anything special. There are probably a lot of people out there like me. Might want to keep that in mind for clients who are only getting the classic pedicure. Will keep looking. read more

I love this place and have been going for over a year. They are kind, clean and do a great job! I always get a powder dip manicure.

I get my nails done monthly and this has been my go to salon for almost 3 years. They have the best technicians and they're so friendly! I do recommend making an appointment when you can because they get a steady stream of walk ins. read more

I come to this salon every two weeks for a mani/pedi gel and SNS. I spend over $100 every two weeks for this service and ALWAYS leave at least $20 tip for my wonderful nail technician. I suffer from a lot of anxiety and while in for service my husband came to see me and sit with me to help keep me comfortable while I was having my nails done. Within 5 mins the head mistress around here told my husband he could not sit with me and had to leave because he was not a paying customer and she now had to sanitize the chair (which literally consisted of her taking a spray can and spraying the chair). I told her I have anxiety and he was here to help me and I would even pay her for the sanitation process but she said he still had to leave. This is EXTREMELY poor customer service especially after I explained the reason I had someone there with me. I realize with COVID times are different but we need to remember we are human at the end of the day and this is a place people come to reduce stress and be comfortable. Having my husband there to provide a few minutes of security for me so I could continue to enjoy my nail spa was not too much for this salon to accommodate. I am very disheartened that I will have to find a new salon now. read more

One, and done. I'm only here bc I want ppl to make an informative decision. 1) I hate that I'm writing this review. 2) I'm not posting pictures of my finished 'almond shape' art nails. To protect the identity of the 'nail tech' 3) nail tech not craftsman of her art. 4) I look down at my manicure with disgust and disappointment every day; Can't wait to look down with amazement in a couple of weeks when they are finally removed& replaced. 5) the pedi nail tech, was not diligent in many phases of a milk and honey pedicure. And finally 6th, the polishes didn't match, but that was the least of my disappointments. read more

I went to this salon for a pedicure and a set of sns. The pedicure was average nothing really to say about it. However the sns was done and within two days cracking all over. I went back cause after one week they all looked horrible. When I went there was a lady that asked who what where. I told them to just look up when I was there they take your name and have these little sheets so I thought they could see who did my nails. Well obviously that means nothing cause the guy that redid my nails was drilling me with questions and then had the nerve to say my information has to be wrong. They were extremely rude and the service was below a 0 rating. Save your money and go somewhere else. I had no concern of price and wanted to get ombré on short nails and they told me not to cause it does not look good on short nails. Just horrible read more

If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go. I went with my mom and sister-in-law and we had to wait a very long time once we got there even though we already had an appointment. I wasn't quite sure why we even had an appointment since we were sitting there for about half an hour before anybody came over to begin working on our feet for our pedicures. Most of the employees that I saw in there did not speak much English so don't plan on having much of a conversation. They did do a good job on my pedicure it just felt like I spent a lot of time in there to get it done. The place is very nice and decorated well, it was my first time in there since I was visiting from Florida. Overall they were friendly and did help me find the nail polish color that I was looking for but thankfully we were not in a rush to go anywhere afterwards because if we would've been there would've been no way we could've finished our pedicures in time. read more

Excellent Nail Salon. New and clean. Felt like one has arrived in Beverly Hills or France. The customer service is amazing. Serving Wine or drinks while you are getting a pedicure on the massage throne. There is a nail color bar that you can sit and select your color. Not expensive at all. Tran was amazing and gave me 45 minutes of her time for pedi and 25 for mani. Just loved it read more

I've only been here once but think this will be my last time coming. They are too over priced they do not show their prices online so make sure you call ahead of time and ask. The salon is beautiful and very clean. Initially the service was fast, friendly so my mom got a pedicure and SNS. The service turned when I started my SNS full set with Jason, who was sighing, rolling his eyes, shrugging his shoulders, less than helpful, and acted like he had somewhere better to be, so much so that the other nail techs jumped in to answer the questions I asked. I would go back, just ask for anyone EXCEPT Jason. read more

I've now been to Laque 3 times and each time I'm blown away. Two of the times I've just walked in and this last time I had an appointment. Every employee is so pleasant and I've never felt more taken care of at a salon. My boyfriend and I went yesterday (Valentine's Day) we got pedicures and I got an SNS manicure. They got us started on the pedis and asked what we would like to drink. They have wine, mimosas, soda and water and we got mimosas. Within 5 minutes of getting mine I knocked the glass over and it shattered and spilled everywhere. They could not have been nicer about that. I felt so badly and was apologizing and I got smiles in return with each employee telling me "it's ok! We'll get you a new one!" Had that happened anywhere else I feel I wouldn't have been met with such kindness. We then got some awesome pedicures. We got the deluxe and it felt just that - deluxe. After the pedicures they got me started at the SNS station. I unfortunately cannot remember my nail techs name (Maybe Theresa?) but she did such a great job on my nails. I showed her photos of some small designs I wanted on my nails and she was accommodating and did a great job. While I was sitting getting my nails done I was given a plate of valentine treats which was so unexpected and so nice! I love this salon and I'm so glad it's so close to my house. I'll be telling everyone to go here because the service can't be beat and my nails always look incredible! read more

Just received my first SNS manicure at Laqué Nails by Helen and they are gorgeous! I'm currently getting a pedi as I type this, but I needed to get on here before I forgot! If you're looking for a place that is super quick which can lead to carelessness, do not go here! Helen took her time and made sure every single detail was done perfectly. It was actually a relaxing experience which is rare. I've gone to 10+ nail salons in the Austin metro, but I will never go anywhere else! Prices are comparable to other salons which stunned me, because the salon is brand new and beautiful! I received two shoulder/neck massages in the duration of my nails being done which was wonderful. They do serve alcoholic beverages, but I've yet to taste them since I am pregnant! They have many many SNS and gel colors to choose from and everyone was very friendly! I'll be making appointments with Helen from now on. I'm just so pleased with everything. read more

Laque Nail Bar is absolutely amazing. It has plenty of parking and the shop is decorated beautifully. Everyone is so very friendly and remembers me each time I return. I have been to Laque several times now for both manicures and pedicures and every time is as good as the last!! The selection of polishes in all categories is the best I have ever seen. I moved from Fort Worth 2.5 years ago and up until 3 mos ago I hadn't been able to find a salon that in anyway compared to my old salon in Fort Worth. I must have tried 12 different salons in Austin north of Lamar and nothing compares to Laque!! Lan does my pedicure each time and has done a pedicure for my husband as well. Her attention to detail, professionalism make her pedicures so relaxing and I always leave feeling so pampered. Cindy has done my nails and she is equally amazing!! This salon is definitely the place to go in north Austin, for the best, most relaxing and pampering manicure or pedicure. I'm so thankful that I found them!!! read more

I was recommended to come here by my coworker and all I can say, AMAZING! The place is so elegant, clean, and the people are so warm welcoming. Disappointed. 2.5 hour wait, was offered our "one free drink" but nothing else in the almost three hours we waited, the manager came by after a while to let us know they were short staffed but we ended up waiting another couple hours until we were seen. We were all fine waiting to go one after the other if that were the case, but we were informed it would be no problem to be seen when we called in and made our appointment. There are bubbles in my gel nails and the the nail tech shaped my nails a little cockeyed and in differing thicknesses. The small hearts that my nail tech did are sloppy and inconsistent. They also didn't do any prep work to anyone in the group before applying the first coat. I thought typically with a manicure they would clean you up a little and push your cuticles back but maybe not. So now my nails are already grown out a week later.. I'm disappointed that I spent $87 for a 4.5 hour trip to the salon to leave with nails I don't think are worth the money or time that I spent there. I can understand when a business is short staffed, but we were also told it would be a 15-20 minute wait which was actually almost two hours. The group of ladies I was with (4 of us total) got $10 off at checkout ...so that took care of the tip. We will not be returning to this salon. read more
