Living in Fremont nearly all my life, I've always driven past this donut shop when it was closed! I finally stopped by today b/c I was looking for a Vietnamese coffee to go with my breakfast sandwich. You can tell that this is a beloved joint because during the duration of my sandwich, many customers greeted the workers like old friends, saying they were back in the area visiting and had to come in or said things along the lines of "Long time no see!" And "if I don't see you before the end of the year, happy new year!" They have your normal run of the mill flavor of donuts and some cronuts as well. Since we were here for sandwiches, we only got a dozen donut holes. I found them to be a little harder than I like and not really too glazed, but still addicting to pop in my mouth. Along with the donut holes, we ordered two Vietnamese iced coffees and a number 2 (egg, cheese and sausage) and a number 3 (egg, cheese and bacon), both of which come on a croissant. Everything came out rather quickly despite how busy they were! The Vietnamese coffees are not too sweet nor as strong as I have had them at other shops, would have liked possibly a little more condensed milk. The sandwiches were nice and piping hot, however, were smushed flat?? possibly from being in a panini press (?). The best part of a croissant is the nice and flakey crust, but they were legit SO flat, it was kind of comical, it still tasted good though haha. Overall, I would totally return! The prices aren't horrible & I absolutely love the community that they have built. :)

How cute are their doughnut boxes :)

Still has the best breakfast croissant sandwiches in Fremont. I have been coming here for many years and the quality is always consistent. If you like blueberries then try the glazed blueberry doughnut, they are my go to along with their glazed old fashioned traditional doughnuts :)

I don't normally go to donut shops without getting a donut, but I decided to get something different today. I wanted to try one of their breakfast sandwiches, which is my favorite Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Croissant. I have to say that it tastes delicious and it's only $6.75, which is fairly priced compared to other restaurants with better ambiance. I am planning to come to this place often to get breakfast sandwiches, but I will still get the donuts here.

A dozen. 2 Glazed raised , 2 strawberry cake, 4 chocolate raised, 2 Jelly filled and 2 cinnamon rolls.

Had for the first time, left a lasting impression. I will be back for more! Light, fluffy...flavorful...no greasy taste. I'm very happy! I had them delivered through DD but I liked that I was able to select each donut I wanted via the app, they were packaged with care...the stickier donuts were separated with paper to preserve the donut and prevent them from sticking to the donuts next to them. Also, the box was taped up nice and secure. I appreciated this level of CARE! Thank you!

I got a raspberry filled and a regular glazed donut, there was a lot of raspberry filling and the glazed donut was a bit smaller but had good chew to it

We love a classic donut shop - one that has chocolate and glazed raised donuts, cake donuts, and old fashioned donuts. So when I heard that Maple Leaf is the best classic donut shop in Fremont, I knew we had to try it. We got donut holes, chocolate raised, glazed raised, chocolate cake, and chocolate old fashioned. It was fine, but not to our taste - the raised donuts and donut holes were missing that yeasty flavor that we love, and the chocolate donuts had a distinct flavor that we didn't care for. At least it was nice to finally try Maple Leaf!

I am a sucker for small shops and this place is exactly that. It gives the vibe of the donut shops you'd stop by before you go to school when you were younger. And now it's feels like it's the go to spot to grab a snack before heading to work. Overall, food is pretty good but not exceptional and the workers are so nice and friendly that they make me want to never try another shop.

This is their phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee and jasmine matcha tea. I had never seen this combination before. They're all things I love, so I was very intrigued. The L.A.C was delicious. The jasmine was very fragrant and forward, which I really liked. The coffee, jasmine, and matcha blended well together and created a nice and tasty drink. It was enjoyable and I would definitely order it again.

I'm sure I'll be posting again and updating to a 5-star but I wasn't overly impressed with the traditional Vietnamese coffee. Could have been my own doing since I asked for 75% sweet instead of 100% - usually find 100% too sweet at most places. It was super smooth though and yummy overall and man! I was definitely caffeinated by the time I got to work. Super cute cafe feel, even though I had to to-go. Wish I could have spent the morning working or chatting there. It was around 8:15am on a Thursday and super quiet inside. Only a couple other guests enjoying their drinks and then just me waiting for my drink-which did come quick. Love supporting non-chain spots and looking forward to checking out new drinks here.

Mufawar Coffee : Before cappuccinos and lattes, there was Mufawar. Born in Yemen's highlands, this creamy, cardamom-infused coffee made my morning, I loved being able to choose the sweetness level. Bee Bites: Sliced like a pie, covered in honey, delicious pastry with cheese inside. The kids loved this and debated over who got the last piece. Fatayer: I've had the chicken, beef, and spinach & feta and all were excellent. It's snack-sized and not too big and actually a perfect size for me to pair with their excellent coffee. Musakhan Chicken Roll: Chicken, olive oil, onion, spices. Again, I might be in the minority but I like snack sized food and not too big. I split this in half as a 2 snacks and it was excellent. Za'atar and cheese croissant: Za'atar is one of my favorite spice combos and Ioved it on this croissant, I reheated this in a toaster oven at 350 degrees at home and it was excellent! Their seasonal ice brew coffee changes, which I love and the current one is this Latin American iced coffee that literally taste like chocolate! I also love their Jamaica tea if you need something besides coffee and I have yet to try their kombucha, but I definitely need to come here for their jazz night!! The French toast, avocado toast, as well as their mission peak sandwich and Monte Cristo we're all delicious and my aunt and niece love their food and my one year-old Nephew loved the avocado toast!! I ordered a Lychee Green Tea & Popcorn Chicken via their machine. It was easy to order on there. Then the guy asked if I would like some tokens while I wait. He gave me four tokens to use while I was waiting, and they were complimentary. I used them on the claw machines, but I didn't win anything. It was still fun and very nice that he offered me the tokens. I got my drink within about 5 mins. Very fast! Then I waited a few more minutes, and I got my Popcorn Chicken.
