We were on our way back to Oklahoma and stopped by here to get some dinner before heading home tomorrow and this place is awesome. We didn't try the BBQ, but we started with the smoked wings (superb!!!), then we had the chili cheeseburger which was really good; and the 737 burger with cheese and my fiancé said it was really good! We had the homemade chips, fries, and Mac & cheese and they were all amazing! For dessert, the GM Joe recommended the banana bourbon bread pudding and it tasted really good and I am not a big bread pudding guy, more of a banana pudding guy, but this was really good. Our server was Lyndsey and she was friendly and outstanding!! Had great conversations with her and Joe! The ambiance is kind of like a neighborhood hangout restaurant with patio and indoor seating and a full bar. Kind of a long description of the ambiance, but that was the best we could do!!‍. We just found them on the google map and they had 8.9 out of 10 stars and they are worth every bit of that and maybe a little more. When in Rome right ? The thing about TX bbq is that it's all about the cow. It's not to say that you won't find some finger linkin good pork, chicken, and sausage BBQ but beef is king in the lone star state. That all said I was looking to try some authentic TX, salt n pepper , slow smoked brisket. Maple Landing, thanks as always to Yelp, seemed like a great option. Pulled up and parked right in front of the restaurant. Open air outdoor seating and of course ample seating inside. A rustic , modern, hip but still authentic atmosphere. A daily special where a bunch of bourbon is only $6... LA needs this ! I sat at the bar as always and got me a refreshing 50/50. sweet-unsweet tea ( a good sign for a BBQ joint in the south is they have sweet tea) my bartender /server was great and really attentive. I decided to try the brisket/sausage plate with 2 sides. I opted for the extra $5 for all brisket. Few mins later my platter came out ... baked beans and burnt ( in a good way ) brussel sprouts were my selected sides. The beans were decent, a bit heavy on onion flavor ( I think) a splash of hot sauce some salt and pepper helped. The brussels were the stand out, tasty and cooked just right with a balsamic type sauce. The brisket was ok ... a bit over cooked and dry and needed some salt and pepper love along with house BBQ sauce that I just say was just a miss. Tomato based but a bit of a mess of attempted flavor. I added a dash of mustard, s/p, hot sauce , and a bit of the brussel sauce really saved it for me with the sauce. A slightly stale roll came with it and 2 mini corn muffins and a pickel. I wanted this place to be so much better than it was. I would have rated 2 stars but service was excellent and a great atmosphere. The restaurant is connected to what seems to be a sister restaurant, a pizza spot next door. Would I come back? Sure ... I'd try some other stuff as the menu did have some nice looking options. Omg, Really, really, really good food. I had the brisket sandwich one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was quite surprised it was so good and the brisket had a really good smoky flavor which they smoke their. My friend had the brisket taco and he said it was the best taco he'd ever had. Just really amazing food the only reason this place did not get five stars was because of the music. They were playing headbanging I don't even know what you call it it was so loud so obnoxious if you're going to play such bizarre music you might want to read your customers first. The only thing I could think of is that's what the bartender and staff liked or the manager and/or owner but oh my God we sat outside at the very far table and still had a hard time talking because the music was so loud and once again it was some indescribable headbanging awful horrid music, I hope when they read this they take into account their customers and not just what the staff wants to hear. Had the Blue Cheese Burger without the Maple Landing mustard. They were able to bring me regular mustard since the ML mustard is a little spicy. The burger was really good for the price. It was my first time here and it did not disappoint. I was able to watch the game while I ate. The patio had a nice breeze that made it quite comfortable. I can in on a lunch break. I saw the reviews online and knew I was going to be in the area so I stopped by. As far as the food, the brisket was tough to me, hard to chew. As a matter of fact I mostly ate a vegetarian sandwich which was delicious. It was the brisket melt. I ordered to go with a bartender. As soon as our eyes met, something told me there was going to be an issue. As a first time guest, I asked "how are the brussel sprouts were made" server responded "like most other restaurants with a balsamic vinger reduced." Glad to know Maple Landing is just like most other restaurants. But the last restaurant I went to the brussel sprouts were made with spicy sriracha and bacon. I just think that was a rude way to respond, because I wasn't at "most other restaurants" I was at Maple Landing. He seemed annoyed with my presence. read more

Love love love this place! They had a vast and unique beer selection. We were from out of town and so impressed with the local beers. Plus the food was dynamite. I had pulled pork sandwich, with slaw and pickled jalapeños. A friend commented the sweet potato fries were the best she had ever eaten. I would love to hang out here on the weekends or watch a football game. There's plenty of space for hanging out. And the patio makes the restaurant an easy indoor/outdoors space. Lined with the TVs. My excitement slowly faded as I took my fist bites. I got the bourbon bbq burger and it was...interesting. The beef just didn't taste very good. To much bourbon flavor and not enough savory or spice. Overall a dull flavor. It also looks like a sloppy joe and meat didn't look or taste like it was good quality. Also not the most aesthetically pleasing. The fries were pleasant. All in all edible but better options elsewhere. The price is $11.95 which isn't the worst. Not amazing food for an ok price. Doesn't include tip. Bang for buck is decent. Brunch, anyone? #Leggo! I've past by Maple Landing several times but never actually had the chance to drop in. My God-brother wanted to do brunch and Maple Landing popped up as a brunch place so here we are! Atmosphere is pretty dope. They have an open air concept where you're inside but the windows are garage door like so they open all the way up to the outside patio so it's nice and airy. The bar takes up most of the area, which I'm not complaining about at all - cause - mimosas. LOL They have plenty of TVs around the place - we caught the Cowboys game and it was perfect viewing angles from almost everywhere. Their brunch menu has your usual suspects, french toast, pancakes, egg sandwiches etc but they all have their unique Maple Landing flair added. The french toast was banana bourbon bread pudding (whaa?), the eggs benedict had pulled pork - I mean...all the meats. So for me, a non-meat eater, it was a little disappointing BUT I had a work around. I ordered the smoked turkey avocado toast (my favorite), with the turkey on the side (for my God-brother lol). Viola! My God-brother got the brunchiladas which looked stuffed with brisket and some other meats. Pretty sure he didn't have anything left so...pretty good on that front lol For our brunch drinks (because what's brunch without drinks?) I had a mimosa and a red river fizz which both hit the spot. Dang it....kinda bums me out to say this but, both service and food have really left room for improvement lately. We've taken guests here a couple of times after experiencing fantastic food recommendations and service at the bar a number of times but we had to officially take this off the rotation of neighborhood favorites because we've gotten the precise opposite sitting at the tables. Suuuuuuper slow, inattentive service was irritating but when the food quality goes down as well? It's not giving us a great deal of motivation to try again. The last meal we had there came with a number of complaints - everything from bland, tasteless potato salad to migas served in a bowl (??) that were crying out for some kind of seasoning or sauce. The meat and cocktails are on point but you've GOT to do better and deliver on the rest! read more

Great food! Gourmet burger offerings! Indoor and covered outdoor patio seating. They open the wall between the two areas so they feel like 1 space. This is a bar and grille. They were showing the football games while we were there. The staff is Super friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend the brisket or the Patty Melt! Went to Maple Landing for brunch! It was easy to get a table and enjoyed the chicken biscuit meal. The bacon was the best part!

I had the kimche burger & elotes on the side. Hubs had the pastrami brisket sandwich with fries. We shared smothered fries. First, really cool atmosphere- like, good AC and super relaxed. Next, really cool bar! One of those nice horseshoe bars that fills the inside of the room. Our food was great! Super fresh & original. A different menu, but not so funky you couldn't take a picky person. Finally, our server Aje (?) was so friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back next we fly out of DAL. read more

This is truly the best brunch spot I've been to in a long while. What makes it good? Nice patio seating for patio season? Great service? How about an all day happy hour on both, Saturday & Sunday? How about decades-old whiskey? I mean, if a drink doesn't make you move, then let's talk eats too! I was around for a monthly group brunch that a fellow yelper hosts. It's a group of black women and, sometimes, brave men. We all get together, socialize, harmonize and patronize. It's truly an eating experience. We get to talk about everything under the sun and try delicious food... all while having a little drank or two. Trey and Trent, our awesome servers, delivered excellent customer service. I ordered a LIIT with rum all the way. So delicious.. I had two. Others had the HH old fashioned and a few other drinks. The Banana Bread Pudding French Toast was scrumptious. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and quiet, even on a game day. I had the patty melt and added Chipotle sauce, I highly recommend. I added a side of high mile sauce for the fries and it was very good. My wife had the Spud and brisket and it didn't have much flavor. She also had the limeade whiskey, I believe, but it was awful. This place went beyond my expectation! My friends and I decided to try out their brunch as the restaurant was walking distance from my friend's place, and we were super hungry. From what I heard, Maple Landing was originally a warehouse that turned into a bar. It recently decided to serve brunch as well. I love the outdoor area; it's perfect for brunch when the weather is nice. There was no wait, so we were able to grab a table immediately. Brunch menu is small, but they all sound delicious! I got my usual brunch food - the migas. It came with sunny side up egg on top. I substituted the beans with wedged potatoes. And let me tell you, the potatoes are amazing here! They're perfectly crisped just how I like it. Brunchilada is pretty good as well. Portion size of the food is on the bigger side. I didn't even get to finish my plate because I was so stuffed. Definitely do try out the $5 make-your-own bloody mary. There is a bloody mary bar that has a pretty wide selection of veggies and other stuff. The overall experience here was great. Guys, their brisket is AMAZING. Buttery, melty, smoky, uuuuuhhhmazing. A few gripes: - The brisket & sausage plate came with three of the smallest pieces of brisket I've ever seen. A few reasonably sized bites, and they were gone. - The sausage was just plain boring. It was a similarly measly small serving, and I didn't even eat all of it. - Cocktail options could be more plentiful/varied...most favor the male, whiskey-drinking crowd. The waitress explained, "Well, it's a whiskey bar." Okay. Fair. I guess. Doesn't really do much for me, though. - My friends raved about the queso so much they got two servings of it, but I didn't think it was all that great. I did like that it came with both tortilla chips and potato chips, though...that was an interesting twist! So this is a restaurant/sports bar combo place, very near Love Field if you're gonna fly. A good place to stop and get a bite since airline food is pretty much inedible or non-existent unless you're a big fan of pretzel packs. Not much special about the menu but what they do is done nicely, is tasty and fresh. The wait staff is prompt, efficient and friendly. My husband had the brisket poutine because he's adventurous (and I'm not - especially as it relates to poutine which IMO needed to remain in Quebec) and he enjoyed it. I didn't sample so cannot confirm or deny. I will say it wasn't gravy or cheese curd saturated which I consider a plus. Also had burnt ends chili which was delicious. Generously spiced without heat or over salting. I had a delish patty melt with sweet potato fries that were perfection. First time I hit up a place I often order a standard for comparison. These folks stacked up well. Patty melt on really nice marble rye. Good quality beef and lots of caramelized onions. Price point fair enough. A solid pre-flight option if you're in the area. read more
