* Service - AWESOME! * Comfortable * Lole (clothes) - BEAUTIFUL!! What more could you possibly ask for? I highly recommend Manuheali'i to anyone looking for eye-popping, elegant and beautiful Hawaiian wear.

Been here many times at both the Punahou and Kailua locations. Staff is always friendly and accommodating in helping you decide which outfit looks nice on you. I love coming here. Definitely not the cheapest, but worth every penny in my opinion. I wish I could wear a Manu to work everyday.

they canceled my entire order from their Awapuhi Collection 07/13/23 that I ordered online when they released it. To receive an email the next day at 2pm stating my ENTIRE order has been canceled because they could not fulfill my order due to not enough stock is asinine! Then for me to have to call and ask why my order has been canceled and all they could say is "I'm sorry" thinking that's supposed to make it better. Not a justifiable response but a "generic email" then speaking to the manager and having a third person talking in the background saying they didn't do phone orders is a lie! Worst experience ever! Totally unorganized especially knowing how popular they are! The least they could've done was fulfill a few items on my order! No remorse! Horrible horrible horrible! Emailed attached below: Aloha, Im highly upset for the fact to receive a "generic email" as one of your store workers states on the phone today stating that my order #92722 & #92969 was canceled because your company could not fulfill my orders is beyond asinine! For your store workers to think that telling a customer who placed this order yesterday before 11am and say it was a glitch issue is no excuse. What you guys should've have done and start doing is really put into your minds when releasing new collection; making separate inventories for in person, online and phone orders for stuff like this to never happen again. For your store workers to think that it's no big deal when it is a big deal especially when you are over selling and now needing to retract your mistakes is gonna cause a lot of upset customers. For you guys to not even fulfill one or two things on my order is really bad. Stop blaming your POS system and start reevaluating your company organizations and how you do your releases. I have been a manuhealii customer for years and you guys are my number one aloha wear company go to but this past experience and for your manager and store workers to just brush it off with no warmth of understanding with my frustration. For your staff to think that this company mess up is not at fault and responsibility is beyond ignorant. Do better! So disappointed.

I know many people have mentioned disliking the workers here, that they don't show any aloha spirit. However, my experience here was quite positive for my first visit yesterday (7/14/2021). I came here on recommendation of my boss, as one of the items she wore one day to work was super Cute; so I had asked her where she got it from. The store is very clean and organized. The workers, from what I saw try to keep that standard. Upon entering they ask you to sanitize before shopping to keep everyone safe. There were several people in the store and even phone calls, but it seemed that the three workers there did touch bases with all customers in the store. I actually give them props for being able to bounce back and forth between that many people to help them! I used to work in retail, and it isn't always so easy! They all in some way interacted and helped my bf and I find what we needed, suggesting other alternatives when they didn't have something we wanted in a certain print. They even suggested and offered to call the other store to check if they had what I was looking for in stock. I was even able to put my name down in a call list for specific styles that they are anticipating to receive in the near future! I left with a little more than I was planning to leave with but at happy with my purchases. (As you can tell from my pictures, We really like the kukui nut print.) I will be back! Thank you ladies for such an enjoyable experience!

Absolutely love my Manu clothes. My favorite designer for sure. And I love that they have other things to buy like bags and household stuff.

As many times…read moreas I have window shopped at Salvage Public at South Shore Market throughout the years, it wasn't until I saw Hōkūpa'a, Nāpali, and another staff (I hope you can forgive me for not asking for your name) at their pop-up location in Hilo. The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

So much to choose from along with lots of clearance items making it a great deal shopping here is an experience to find clothing for the whole group. Service here is very friendly and helpful though I didn't find anything today know that I will be back to support this amazing local small biz as they have so many great clothing to express ourselves. First the female sales associate said they didn't carry the color he received, but he said he just wanted a small shirt. She said he had to return it to where he got it from....IT WAS A GIFT!!! He didn't know where they got it from. Then he found a small in the other shirt he received and the male sales associate asked if he had a gift receipt. No, we didn't have one. So he asked "when did you receive it?" My husband said on May 19. He said "Oh, that's more than 30 days-we can't exchange it." Today is the 20th of June. Seriously!?!?! One day late and no grace period!?!??! So now he's stuck with 2 shirts that he can't use....So CAUTION! DO NOT BUY ANY GIFTS from this place. I know if the person he got the gifts from knew they had such a strict policy, she would have warned him to rush and exchange them. Horrible customer experience. The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. Overall, Stüssy Honolulu is a great stop if you are into streetwear or want to check out one of the well-known global brands located along Kalākaua Avenue.

I would stock up on socks and sweaters with abandon from the Uniqlos closer to my home in San Francisco. That was why it surprised me that I would seek out this familiar store at the mammoth Ala Moana Center. However, I had seen a local vlogger's YouTube video where he showcased the Hawaiian-exclusive clothing they sell here. Jamie W and I decided to drop by when we were at Ala Moana. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition. If you think one Uniqlo is like another, reconsider and come here. RELATED - Exploring Hawaii? Here's a collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://yelp.to/06Oa2Epa6T
