They turned off the A/C (in sacramento weather! can you imagine?). The doors are all shut, with all the kitchen machinery and boilers and ovens running. The air stayed still and hot. Eventually I asked for the single staff, can I open the front door? He said yes. I opened it and finally, some fresh air! When we tried to order, they had fancy names for each ramen, but underneath it's really just the usual miso vs shoyu. The only difference is the single staff put in a LOT of garlic, like a lot. Taste is so-so The renovation is really nice though, and the tables/chairs are kept clean. Staff is ok friendly. Gave us utensils etc. Sometimes hard to find. Overall, probably an average ramen place.
