Nothing but positivity when describing Manor Buffet. Each and every time I travel to Lancaster PA it's a must that I come and eat here. They have buffets where I live but nothing compares to Manor Buffet. The restaurant is beautiful and the epitome of cleanliness (I absolutely adore the decor). The waiters/waitresses are kind and on the ball when it comes to clearing dishes & drink refills. The service at the Hibachi grill is excellent. The other stations are always constantly being cleaned and restocked. The hot food is HOT and the cold food is COLD. Sooo many different stations and choices, there truly is a dish for everyone. My personal favorite are the ayce raw oysters & clams, the craw fish and the Hibachi Station. The price is EXCELLENT! And make sure you save room for dessert so you can enjoy the chocolate fountain! The start as the best Chinese buffet around but they don't end there. They have a fresh salad bar with over 20 item choices. We came in here at dinnertime while we were in the area visiting. As far as buffets go, this one was very good. It had a great variety of Asian dishes to choose from. The soups were very tasty and the seafood offered was very good and fresh. They enforced mask and glove wearing at this time and most people adhered to the rules. Food was almost all terrible. A decent selection of fruits. Ok selection for deserts, the usual dry cookies and so forth. There was a lingering taste of old dishwater in most things I tried but I did find some pretty good food after searching that didn't have this odd flavor. My families first visit although they've been here for 2.5 years. First impression was very good, we were greeted right away and seated quickly. The buffet area is kept very clean and there is a large selection that should be able to suite any taste. We were all impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how helpful everyone is. We will definitely be back again because everyone gets what they are in the mood for and the price is reasonable. The first time we came here for lunch we were really impressed. 12.95 a piece and the food was fresh and plentiful. The sushi was good and the service was prompt. Dessert was above and beyond. We mistakenly went this second time on New Year's Eve and were seated only to be asked if "Dinner was ok." At 11:45 am. My fiancée was like "Well we are here for lunch," full well knowing what they were trying to tell us. The hostess was flustered and kept saying dinner and I said "so you are charging us dinner prices?" And she finally said "Yes." That was 20.95 a piece and I figured, welp, we are already sat and most likely, there are going to be a lot more things to choose from considering it's twice as much. Nope. And tbh, it wasn't even as good as the first time we came for lunch. Most of the offerings were greasy and disappointing. I mean. I get it. It's a holiday, but make it worth it at least. Going in to this buffet, I had read all of the reviews and expected less. I was shocked! Their food was amazing, although the pizza was literally rock hard. I was impressed aside from that. It's probably the best Chinese based buffet around here! There was no wait time, empty plates were taken off of the table immediately and drinks were refilled as they went empty. My review is based on several lunches with my family. I gave it 5 stars because it's the best Chinese buffet in the Lancaster area. Food selection is awesome! The price for lunch is very reasonable. The taste and seasoning on the food are on the moderate side for a Chinese restaurant. They have a hibachi where you can add up flavor or sauce as they cook it for you. The ambience/decor is better than most restaurant. The place has plenty of seats/space. The bathrooms are nice. You won't see anything as nice as this around. It's like being in Atlantic city or Vegas. I've been in this place as early as 11:15am and it's really clean and the food is freshly cooked. I've also been here late in a late afternoon. It was crowded and they are having a hard time keeping up with the mess. i Used to love this place! The atmosphere is nice and they have a very nice selection of food. The problem is that the food is lacking in taste. The honey chicken tastes funny. The wonton soup broth is off compared to other local buffets. The ham at the meat station was aweful had very little flavor and was dry. the roast beef was good and so was the steak. i felt like the flavors were great on that. The onions and peppers were good as well. I also enjoyed the egg rolls and donuts. The crab rangoon was yummy as well. The dumplings or potstickers as some call them were off as well. I felt like the presentation was nice and the place was clean. Minus the mens room which i thought needs some work. The flavors on the chicken n broccoli, General Tso, and the other staple dishes weren't very good. Tony Wangs could give me double the portion i tried and flavors for less. The garnish for wonton soup wasn't available (spring onions) and the dim sum sauce was not available for the dumplings either. First off the decor is really cool, reminds me of a Vegas buffet. The food was really fresh and didn't look like it had sat out for hours like some buffets. There was also a very impressive variety of choices. But the best part had to be the staff. It is a typical Chinese American buffet but for a fraction of the price ($13.99 adult dinner price) that it typically costs in a more wealthy area. For this price there are lots of well prepared things such as snow crab legs, steamed fish, beef with cilantro, crayfish, steamed shrimp, and typical Chinese dishes like General Tso's, etc. On the vegetable bar I particularly enjoyed the sesame okra. All these items were well done and exceeded my expectations of the quality ID expect from a buffet. The disappointing parts of the buffet were the steak (too overcooked and tough), sushi (didn't look super fresh), the stone crab halves (dried out and way overlooked). They had raw clams but I wouldn't recommend eating raw shellfish at a cheap buffet like this. Lots of cakes, cookies, and soft serve ice cream for dessert. Just passing through the area that day from NYC during Easter weekend on Saturday for lunch. Their food variety and service satisfied our craves and our wallets. We have been there many times, when we first stated going there,they had this fish called Swai, I had never had, we both tasted it made a couple of ways , in a sweet sauce and crispy fried, and plain fried, we LOVED it, be became instant fans.There very clean and most of the food flavorful, they also had blue claw crabs in ginger and scallions , fabulous. But, now they use tilapia, hate it!!, and any crab , just seems to be boiled or steamed no seasoning. This is very disappointing. I wish I knew why they change ??? I used to think 5 stars , now only 3. Please bring back the Swai, and if and when you do crabs do them like you used too, we passed going there yesterday for this reason. read more

Nice selection, was pulled in with the advertisement of crab legs however I didn't see anything other than dungeon crab. The coconut shrimp was good and one of my sons enjoyed hibachi while the other kept going to the sushi bar. The table next to us was charged for a sleeping baby and thank goodness I checked my bill because so was I. My toddler was in his stroller sleeping the whole time.
