We stopped here for lunch after a little shopping. What a find! They have Coke Zero, which is always a win for me! Their chips are the authentic, thick, salty chips. The salsa was flavorful with chunks onions and tomatoes. It wasn't too spicy with a nice taste. I had the brunch omelet with potatoes and refried beans. There was a generous amount of cheese on the omelet with bacon. It was cooked just right and topped with avocado slices. My friends shared a variety plate with enchiladas and a taco. Tried Manny's for the first time last night! We had a group of 6 and when we got there, they asked us to wait to be seated even though it wasn't very busy. The wait wasn't long at all, but they said they had to put chips and salsa on the table before we could sit down, which I thought was a little odd lol. Nothing wrong with it, just something I hadn't experienced before! The food was okay! Probably not my favorite Tex-Mex in Dallas, but definitely not bad--just pretty average in my opinion. I got Manny's Tacos, which came with rice, and we also ordered the street corn. The street corn was really good and the portion was great. It's listed as an appetizer and could easily feed around 4 people. I also got a margarita, but it tasted a little too much like sweet & sour mix for me. Our server was really nice and did a great job! We didn't need too much throughout the meal, but the service was good and we had no issues there. I love this place so much! There is a new vegan dish on the menu, it has been replaced. They used to have vegan cheese enchiladas but they don't have it anyone. They have spinach enchiladas topped with grilled vegetables now. I was nervous about it, but omg they were amazing! I loved the proper dish, but this was amazing also! It came with a side of green rice. Such a filling dish, I was only able to eat half because there was so much. We were given a free bag of chips and salsa. There was only one mishap, they initially gave me a different dish, but I let them know and they made my dish instantly and gifted me from empanadas dessert. I truly appreciate the kindness and hospitality of the staff. I will continue to come here forever! read more

Came here with a large group for dinner. The weather was great so they sat us on the patio. As the sun set though, there was no lighting outside so it made it pretty difficult to see when eating. I got the strawberry frozen margarita and the El Tradicional meal. The marg was great and they spruce them up to look very cute. My meal was filling and overall okay. Presentation was not the best. I was able to gal home leftovers. Our server was great! Always had the chips and salsa refilled throughout the night and split our check 10 ways without even asking. The menu online said lunch specials were $12, but their prices have recently increased to $14. In the bathroom and in parts of the restaurant I noticed quite a few fruit flies/gnats. Had a particle of something in my water had to ask for another one. No biggie, then order the lunch enchilada beef taco and rice. When got food was enjoying it till I saw a black hair y food hanging off opposite side of the side of the plate. It wasn't mine. I put it to the side of the table after another server asked me everything was ok. I told him bout the hair in my food he grabbed it looked at it and dropped it back on my table somewere. He didn't let anyone know for me like I was believing he would of. We had a fantastic time at Mannys for my boyfriend's birthday! The service was top-notch, (Guillermo was a great server ask for him), the atmosphere was just what we wanted. I didn't know they had outdoor seating, next time I visit I have to sit on the patio to enjoy the weather. I have come to appreciate Manny's food more in recent days. They are doing great in that regard. It's always hot, and the enchiladas actually have something in them, unlike my lifelong go to up on 75 in Plano. And I love the spinach enchiladas covered in mixed veggies with ranchera sauce. A reasonably healthy dish! On the downside, the evening hostess needs to up her game in the "friendly" department, and the wait service is either great or lackluster.
