    This place takes the cake for my personal favorite ramen dish I've ever had. I particularly love the flight of toppings (kimchi, raddish, sriracha, etc) The service here is prompt and polite, always. The price is reasonable and everything I have tried has been wonderful. It is tucked away from downtown making it a very serene place for meetups or solo lunch.

    This is my local Korean restaurant. The food is great and the kimchi is delicious. I've tried a few things but my go to is the dolsot bibimbap. Tonight I tried the bean sprout kimchi bim bap. Also a good option. The kimchi pancakes are also a great addition to any meal. The place is usually quiet and the owner/server is always pleasant. I recommend this place if you're looking for something a little different in Greenfield.

    This is one of my favorite places to eat in Greenfield. The staff is always super kind. It's usually not too busy eating in, which is nice and the food comes out pretty quick. The pork dumplings are one of my favorite things, I pretty much get it every single time I go. Definitely would recommend this place!

    steamed tofu appetizer was very flavorful i really enjoyed it. the kimchi was as expected, fresh and seasoned we ordered double. the radishes were a pleasant surprise. the soondubu jjigae was well seasoned and delicious, i would've wanted 2 eggs haha. the bibimbap had a lot of variety, wasn't as hot as id want (temp and flavor) i did have to ask for bulgogi (3$), i feel it should've been included, slightly above average. overall the food could've been spicier!! great flavor tho

    I Love Korean. Food. But it's just not easy to find. Unless you're looking for Hot Pot/BBQ. Which I'm not. I found Manna House on Yelp and finally made it for an early dinner. This is my kind of place in that it's a small, independent, scrappy restaurant. There were only two people working when I ate at Manna House: one person cooking and a second person waiting tables. The place is in an interesting location in downtown Greenfield. Small space at the end of the block, kind of long and narrow. VERY high ceilings. Two big problems with the atmosphere that I must mention. We have to acknowledge the fact that I am NEVER looking for "fine dining" or "formal" atmosphere. I'm looking for a good/fun vibe and great food. The two problems here are the fact that the ONLY lights in the entire space were a few (very few) little track lights all the way up on that very high ceiling. Completely inadequate lighting. So way down below where I was sitting, with my food, it was almost too dark to see that food. They need more lights. Second problem: there was no ambient music or anything at all. You could have heard a pin drop in that place. Instead of hearing a pin drop what I had to hear were my fellow diners chewing and slurping etc etc. I'm not even kidding. That's now quiet the spot was. I REALLY dislike ever hearing anyone chew anything. So that was kind of terrible. And a very easy thing to fix. They should fix it. I started with Steamed Tofu. It's a simple dish. But delicious! And I really like it. Then Kimchi Pajun which was nearly meal sized all on its own. I think it would have been really good, but it got over cooked. Like borderline burnt. VERY close to the burnt border... I also ordered Kim Bap with Tofu. Kim Bap is, basically, Korean sushi and this is the equivalent of Futomaki in Japanese Sushi. You can get it with Ham or with Tofu (I don't eat ham). The Kim Bap was EXCELLENT. Delicious, big and expertly rolled so that each piece held together as I ate it. Highly Recommend. I then got Soon dubu Chigae, which is a spicy, silken tofu soup/stew with seafood. This was pretty good. Not great. Flavor was good. Could have been spicier. Seafood component was very "meh." I feel like Manna House isn't doing much with seafood on their menu. It's difficult to offer just a few seafood items and then have great quality seafood. My meal came with two Banchan which were good: Kimchi and potatoes in sweet syrup. Banchan are maybe the best thing about eating Korean food. Rice was also good. Although not as good as I've had at other Korean spots. I'd definitely get the Kim Bap again. And the Pajun. I'm assuming the overcooking was not how it usually goes. But not sure I'd dine in again in the dark silence...True Score 3.5 But Since there are no .5s here I'm rounding up because I get the feeling Covid was not easy here...

    The food is so good and filling, I love the atmosphere, and the service is top notch. The wait staff is kind and accommodating to the handy cap and child friendly.

    Ate here tonight with my husband and loved it. The Korean sushi was really freaking good. We also loved the pork dumplings and squash pancake, which were both very fresh and authentic. The kimchi and radish on the side were fantastic as well. Just a woman in her kitchen serving up comforting and delicious Korean food. We also loved our waiter and will certainly be back next time we're in town.

    Loving the lunch combo plate. every bite is full of flavor and yummy! Jap Chae and dumplings in pork or tofu plus sushi roll make a full lunch. Add Kim Chi and you are set to go. Call ahead for a quick pickup and go.

    Driving with my folks from Sturbridge back to our home in VT, we needed dinner. So we Yelped and found a burger place in Greenfield. Luckily, I had to walk the dog...and my head snapped when I saw the word "Korean" on a distant sign. Could it be....? In GREENFIELD...? Well, we can have burgers anywhere in Vermont. Really good burgers. But we have to drive 90 minutes for Korean food. And we had Korean parents in tow. The course of action before us was clear. If you are Korean, like my parents, you may not want to come here, especially if you have ready access to Korean food at home. If you are Korean-American living in the whitest state in the US, you will be excited to have any kind of Korean food. If you are new to Korean food, you will be pleasantly surprised....and seek it again. Nice atmosphere--simple & classy, with some Korean art. Clean & new, this location has been open since spring 2012. In the background plays relaxing, unobtrusive music that makes you feel vaguely like you are in a really nice elevator -- the same music my mom plays in her car. (It does make you want to push some buttons at first, but then you get used to it.) The menu was strong on the soups -- the best of Korean cuisine offerings, in my humble opinion. They use quality ingredients, nice and fresh, and everything was pleasingly flavorful. We even asked if they used MSG -- just in case -- but our server laughed and said he didn't think anybody did anymore, that was so old fashioned. The server was a nice young man--Korean-American, I suspect. Service was prompt, attentive, and polite. He answered our question readily, questions like, "where do you get your customers? Is there, like, a university nearby?" (Subtext: how are you are surviving in GREENFIELD?) (Answer: prep school students, many of whom are Chinese.) (By the way, I am not making fun of Greenfield. It is a lovely town with a lovely downtown area and feels very New England-y. Much like my favorite towns in Vermont. But like much of Vermont, it is remote from Asian-intensive populatins centers...and Korean restaurants.) But onto the food. I thought it was fine -- not amazing, but fine -- my husband had the flu and can't be objective, and the folks...well, they have high standards for Korean food. We started with "Haemul Pajun" ($11.95) -- a savory "pancake" with scallion & squid with soy dipping sauce. This is my caucasian husband's very favorite Korean dish. The squid was perfect -- great flavor, nice texture, a hint of grilled smokiness, which comes from a nice, quick sear in the pan, I suspect. But the pancake as a whole seemed to be overdone on the outside while still a little too mushy on the inside. Not horribly so -- it just could have been better in texture. Mom got "Jjang Bbong ($10.95) -- which is actually a Korean take on Chinese food. It is a super spicy soup with noodles, fish cake, shrimp, and squid. Here, it was too spicy -- too spicy to let you enjoy what should be a happy harmony of complex seafood flavors in the broth. But it did have lots of mussels. Mom was disappointed, but I kept wanting to steal more. I ordered the Korean standard, "Bul Go Gi" ($14.95), which the menu describes as "fully marinated beef cooked to perfection, served with vegetables." It was average for a restaurant that does not grill it in front of you (which makes it amazingly delicious.) The marinade was right on, but it was not made from a great cut of meat -- just an average one. Vegetables included carrots and onion cooked to just tender. I cleaned my plate. My husband & dad both ordered "Duk Mandu Gook" ($10.95) --without the duk! "Duk" is rice cake, "mandu" is meat-filled dumpling (not unlike a wonton), and "gook" is soup. (And yes, a racial slur for people who consume a lot of soup and call it "gook") But I love the describption in the menu: "dense rice cake petites ponder in the depths of this dumpling stew." I love it! pondering rice cakes! ("Petites"?) Now, if you've spent time at my house on New Years eating this, you know exactly what they mean. That is exactly what those rice cakes do, those contemplative little fellows. The first few are so wonderful...but then you can't seem to get rid of the rest. (I swear they also propogate as they ponder.) The broth had a wonderful, full flavor, and the dumplings, tons of meat -- almost as much as my mom puts in -- instead of just filler veggies. Over all, I enjoyed it & was pleased with what we got, considering we are no where near a Korean-filled metropolis. Had this place been in Boston, I would have given it 3 stars. In NYC, LA, or SF, barely 2. But c'mon! We are in Greenfield, Mass! It may not be amazing Korean food, but it is very tasty food, and I commend them for taking a chance and for their efforts. If they were a 45 minute drive of my home, I'd be here at least once a week. Best of luck--we're rooting for you! (PS--more panchan, please!)

    Having lived in Greenfield for the past few years we have driven past this restaurant a million times but we had never tried it before. Yesterday we stopped in here for dinner and after our meal we may make this a regular spot. The staff here was incredibly polite and the dining area was very comfortable. We bought their shumai, pan fried dumplings as well an their Galbi. All three items were delicious, freshly made and we couldn't get enough of the shumai. The rice that came with the meal was perfectly cooked and the side dishes were perfect. In the end the prices were reasonable and we really loved the food. The only downside was that the soda was a bit flat, but in the world of critiques, this is a minor inconvenience. This is a must try while in Greenfield.

    The best restaurant in Greenfield. I love the atmosphere and the fact it's BYOB. The food is great, portions are large so we usually share.
