Tonight for dinner we decided to try out Ce Ce's Chinese. This was our first time here so we didn't know what to expect. The restaurant itself was warn down, but the staff here was very polite. It took a while to get our food and it seemed like the staff was a bit scattered, but the food looked great. When we finally did eat, the food was pretty good. We bought General Tso's chicken, an appetizer combo, as well as fried scallops. Everything in our order was great, but the rice could have used some more seasoning. Our favorite menu item was the beef teriyaki followed by the pan fried dumplings. In the end, the food was decent but it took a while to get our food. That being said, we will stop by again to try out some more of their menu items.

Ce Ce's Chinese restaurant is my go to for great American Chinese food. The owners are very pleasant and take pride in the food they serve. I love their general tso sauce.

Chinese donuts smelled like the frier hadn't been cleaned in ages, couldn't finish the food. Not veg friendly

23 Dec 25, driving from Ct to northern Vt, roads got bad and pulled off in Brattleboro for a hotel…read more Saw this restaurant close to hotel and said " we could do some Chinese food". I ordered the Szechuan beef and beef lo mein, wife had California dinner, 3 cali rolls and a small salad. Wifey said they were fantastic, super fresh, she loved it. My beef and lo mein was the bomb, never had Szechuan beef before, but this was so tasty, didn't skimp on meat, not to spicy, same with lo mein. Put it this way folks, where we are in CT, you can throw a stone and hit dozens of Chinese, Japanese, sushi, or Thai places, heck we even have Tibetan one. We could drive 20 min and hit 30-50 more. But Jon were as good as this place, we laughed and said to each other " hey do u want Chinese food ? Yeah. Welll where do u want to go ? Let's go to Brattleboro!!!! " That's an hr and 15 min away. We also joked, but had some seriousness to it, they need to bring this place down to CT or someplace down in CT needs to steal this chef !

We had the fried rice lunch special, and the shrimp with lobster sauce lunch special. They both came with egg drop soup. It was about $30, which is pretty reasonable. There was a ton of food. They also pack it in a hot bag, which is great. Speaking of which, the food was VERY hot. The fried rice was delicious and I really enjoyed the shrimp with lobster sauce. My husband loved the egg drop soup. A great place to stop for lunch in Brattleboro!

I am always craving this place. They have noodle dishes and the wonton is delicious. The workers…read moreare super nice and helpful and were able to accommodate for 10 people last minute. It has a traditional looking interior with wooden plaques around. I would have to recommend getting wontons no matter what dish you get, the sauce is so good and we were picking at the peanuts. I got my favorite Hot n Spicy noodles, this was a little more sour than I remembered so if you don't like sour soups I wouldn't recommend. The Dan Dan Noodles were great although could use a little more sauce. The cucumber dish was good, a little small but was refreshing to eat.

I was given a small table near the entrance and I asked for a larger table, since I planned on ordering quite a few dishes to try. The maître d' said "No", that they reserve those seats for four people. I completely understand if the restaurant was busy or expecting more people. I said, no, I would be leaving. I was allowed to leave. After all, he had no stake in the revenue. But I hope the owners will take notice of this. You have lost a customer, and likely a repeat customer. In addition, whatever happened to service and accommodating customers, especially when it costs nothing in this situation.
