Cheesesteak

I saw some positive reviews for their Cheesesteak so finally I tried one today. i adore a good cheesesteak but this one falls pretty far down the line compared to many other places. The flavor was a bit odd; I think they butter the roll and that's not belonging in a cheesesteak. the meat seemed cheap and I bit into a bb size piece of bone! the roll was almost too soft and full of grease. the sandwich really just fell apart. I won't order this again.

I have been eating steak and cheese sub sandwiches for more than 50 years. This by far is one of the best I've had in all that time. The bread is perfect not too crispy not too soft. The steak onions and cheese are delicious and the most crispy onion rings ever I recommend coming here. - Paul G

Went today, Sunday early afternoon the place was empty. There was no pick ups coming and going while I was there so I don't quite understand why it took so incredibly long to get a small pizza , over 25 minutes after cashing out. They make a thin chewy style pizza, not what I think of for thin crust pizza.. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant is clean so it's just middle of the road for me. The toppings stopped pretty far from the edge so I don't really think it's a great value at 12:99 for a small pizza with just vegetables . Soft drinks are Pepsi. With that style crust, calzones might actually be interesting, so I'll try it next time. I'm not going to avoid the place, but not going out of my way to get there either .

Manhattan Pizza finally opened today in Gainesville, VA! I ordered the cold version of their Italian Sub. It was fresh and tasty! They served it with oil and vinegar on the side. Came with lettuce, tomatoes, banana peppers, and onion on a sub roll. Next time I'll have them add some mayo to the sub. A welcome addition to options for subs/sammiches/pizza in the area! #ManhattanPizza

Food isn't bad, pretty tasty but was disappointed with lack of sauce on pizza! What's up with that Manhattan Pizza?

Holy cow. Holy COW. I ordered their pepperoni roll for take out and I am beyond satisfied. The roll is crispy with a light crunch on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and just a touch of CRUNCH from the pepperoni. If I ever unfortunately end up on death row, this would be one of the foods I would request (*knock on wood*).

Stereotypical decor and menu, Grains and Grog stood painfully empty on a Saturday afternoon playing music nostalgic to anyone who graduated high school before 2010. I ordered a Manhattan. Hallway through, looking down at the bottom of the glass, I saw two tiny flies floating at the bottom. As disgusted as one can reasonably be, I asked for another one to be made (why I bothered, I can't say. Maybe it was because I had already drank half). I found another small fly in the second before the server left the table. Another fly in the third as well. We didn't finish our meals for obvious reasons. They brought us the check, discounted the manhattans and 50% the check, though I didn't feel I should have paid anything. After paying the check, they said it was a mistake. They brought us the wrong one and would void the sale. The "correct" check they brought us was the full meal sans the 3 botched manhattans. We won't be going back

Others in our group got shawarma sandwiches and spinach pies, and everyone was raving about their food. We wrapped up with a baklava sampler for dessert, which was the perfect ending. The food alone would've made the night, but our waiter really took it to another level. He was warm, personable, and clearly remembered my grandparents from past visits. He greeted them like old friends and was genuinely helpful throughout the meal, steering us toward dishes we'd love based on what we were in the mood for. That kind of attentive, personal service is hard to come by. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern meal with excellent service to match. I had a surprisingly great experience at Flower Child…read more With such a wide variety of menu items, it was easy to find plenty of vegetarian options. I ordered an entrée with three sides: grilled vegetables, roasted heirloom carrots, and mac and cheese. Everything was made to order, so my meal arrived fresh and flavorful. The olive oil-roasted vegetables were simple but well seasoned and satisfying. The roasted heirloom carrots were unique as they were seasoned with za'atar and served with whipped feta, which added a delicious flavor. The mac and cheese, however, was just average. I'm not a big fan of gluten-free pasta, and I found it a bit too chewy. It also didn't absorb the cheese sauce very well, so it wasn't as creamy or flavorful as I had hoped. I also tried the draft kombucha, which was fine but nothing particularly memorable. The service was quick, even during a busy weekend lunch, and a staff member was friendly. The restaurant itself has a cute, welcoming interior with plenty of seating, so finding a table wasn't an issue. Overall, I had a really enjoyable meal and thought it was well worth the price. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
