I enjoy my food more when I get good service. I had several pizzas from here and they taste pretty good. But they always overcook/burnt the bottoms more than I liked. So I thought I would mention this when I ordered but they tended to ignore my requests. In a manner of fact way, I brought this to attention of the manager/owner - he was so rude about it. I've been here many times and each time the service and the food decrease in quality. I've tried their pizza many times and I've never cared for it. It's very greasy; way more greasy than I prefer. You can hold a slice up vertically and it will drip with grease for a solid 30 seconds. Ugh. Not the type of pizza I like, However, I used to go in two times a week and get a chicken caesar salad. For the first month, the salad was great. Fresh, delicious grilled chicken,great dressing. The next couple of weeks, the salads were browner, soggier, less tasty. Last month, I went and twice, I had to wait for them to cook the chicken because they had charged me for the chicken but forgotten to actually add it to my salad. Disappointing. Especially since I'm running from the gym back to work. I don't really have the additional 10, sometimes 15 minutes to wait. I don't know if they've gotten too distracted with the froyo restaurant they're opening, but the food has definitely gone down in quality. Today I ordered the chicken parmesan for lunch. It's a large portion with 2 well sized chicken breasts, but truth be told, I'm not entirely sure that the chicken is cooked through completely. It's a little more pink in the center than I'd like and that's not due to the sauce. I did eat the pasta though, which was fine, but I mean, it's spaghetti. When you order chicken parm you're really not in it for the pasta. I think I'll take a break from Manhattan Pizza for awhile, at least until the renovations are done. By then, hopefully they'll have gotten back to normal. read more

I just ordered 2 pies from here and unfortunately the pizza does not live up to the name manhattan pizza. Having had pizza from all over the world I would like to think of myself as a bit of a connoisseur... The edge of the crust was very dense and hard to eat and while the bottom of the pie was thin enough to be NYC pie it left a chalky aftertaste in my mouth. The sauce was pleasantly tasty... What little there was on there and the cheese was chewy and had no flavor. 1 star for promptness 1 star for the sauce. I did not eat in nor did I eat anything other then the pizza. read more

If you enjoy hot (or warm for that matter) food including the ingredients you requested, I would advise against ordering from this establishment. The pizza is good, HOWEVER it often arrives later than the estimated delivery time given with the cheese barely warm and hardened. We have only once or twice received a correct order; of items directly off the menu! I feel almost as foolish as the employees who do not know their own menu and have no customer service skills- for continuing to order here. I have attempted to order pizza listed on the menu and been told by the employee that they do not have the ingredients to make the pizza...I will be taking my business where I may receive the food I ordered, in the time I was told it would arrive and where the employees seem to have slight concern for the customers who pay for their "service". read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been going to Manhattan for 11 years now. The pizza has stayed consistently the best pizza in Loudoun! The wing sauce is mind bowing... The wings are delicious-deep fried with light or no batter with delicious, spicy, seemingly-home made sauce. LOVE everything about this place's pizza and wings. I've never wanted to try anything else, but every time I'm there people are eating a variety of different things. I'm not so sure I like the new decor, although the it's cool that they expanded to include an ice cream parlor. They might need to invest in an interior designer, to make the two spaces look harmonious. Overall, great place. Helpful staff. Clean. I highly recommend this place! read more

Hands down the best place to get pasta. Always get great service and the food always come out quickly, even when I get it to go. Average pizza combined with terrible delivery service. Two stars because it's edible, but if you're hungry a frozen pizza is a better option. Manhattan is amazing pizza! The experience is always great and the employees are very helpful. Also I am a teacher and we have a project where we use empty pizza boxes. We contacted other pizza places where they were going to charge us for the numerous boxes. Mahattan has donated 150 pizza boxes to us without hesitation! We love Manhattan! read more

I do agree that the pizza is pretty good, however I just ordered a gluten free bianca, with tomatoes and it arrived with no basil. When I contacted the restaurant to make them aware, they offer me 10% off my next order. I explained that 10% off is less than what they charged me for the extra topping and I found it unacceptable. Great food, but terrible delivery service. Tonight was our second time getting delivery from this place, giving it another try. Both times, however, they claimed our orders (one by phone, one by website) were marked as "for pickup" and not delivery. We double checked this the second time, so there's no way this was true. We waited over an hour both times for delivery. They called us twice tonight to make sure we "absolutely wanted it for delivery". We said yes, of course, and waited and waited for them to finally get here. The food is great, though. It's really sad that I have to knock off two stars just for their poor delivery service. Try the BBQ wings - I swear, I'll just go in and pick it up even though this place angered me. EDIT: They've now changed their BBQ wings. They used to be small, boneless bites of well-done goodness with a great sauce. Tried this place today. Big mistake. Ordered online for delivery. Requested "as soon as possible" delivery. We are 1.3 miles from the store but it took 1 hour and 12 minutes to arrive. A large Bomber pizza and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were a cold, mushy, horrible pile breading and wilted onion. Completely inedible. The pizza was also cold, soggy and extremely greasy. The meat toppings of sausage, pepperoni and meatball were of typical pizza chain variety. Nothing special there. Cheese was cold and stiff. If this pie was hot and fresh it might have been acceptable but I will never know. I will not be back. There are much better options for food quality, and service in Ashburn. Used to eat from this location all the time. Quality of food has decreased significantly. Ordered hot wings and cheese fries. The wings were far from hot as the sauce didn't adhere to the wings at all. The fries were soggy from excess oil. There are much better places in the area to eat at. read more

Pizza is good but have come to conclusion it's not worth the service. In the last 3 months, I've had to wait 3 times for 20 plus minutes at the store for pickup only to find it was waiting ( I had order it 15 minutes before arriving) but they just never brought it to the front. Like others, I am a little surprised that so many STILL love this place. We stopped going there after several disappointing pizza's well over a year ago... tried them again yesterday and the memories on why we stopped going there were easy to remember. Very skimpy with toppings (gyro meat and fresh tomato) and the overall appearance was nothing like the pics I have seen in reviews (maybe you have to pick one of their specially named options). They charged us the price for the two 12" pizzas but brought us the smallest size in both pizzas .. I called them up immediately to see if I could get the order( medium pizzas) I asked for. They accused me of saying I wanted the smallest pizza size when I said medium and even the person that took my order repeated it to me! The WORST manhattan pizza I've ever been to! Save your time and go to the one in south riding. Today we ordered a pizza at 5:45 pm and they told us it would be an hour wait. 2 hours later we still didn't have a pizza so we called them. We called multiple times with no answer so we drove to the store to see what was going on. Turns out they decided to stop taking calls because they were busy and the delivery person just left with our pizza. This was 2 hours after we ordered it! Great food, but the service is absolutely terrible. When it took 75 minutes (yes, an hour and fifteen minutes) for our two delivery pizzas to arrive, they were undercooked and cold. We called to ask for fresh pizzas to be delivered, and a female manager stated repeatedly that she could give us 15% off, but that she could not refund the pizzas or send us new ones. When I told her she was about to lose two regular customers, she again offered us 15% off. We were in on New Years Day. The pizza was excellent. The service was poor. we saw the server when the order was taken and for the check; we had to go to the counter to ask for the check. Drinks were never refilled. No inquiries on how things were or could they get us anything. There was one other table in the restaurant. Maybe the server was on break for the hour we were there... The restroom looked like it had not been cleaned in a couple of days and there were no paper towels (nothing like wiping ones hands on your pants to dry them...).
