    Sushi

Been going here since they opened. They started out with excellent food. Over the years, it has deteriorated. The past three times, I had take away. The "sushi" I ordered was some of the worst imaginable. Terribly put together and just plain sloppy. Minimal fish on the Rainbow Rolls and stuffed with fake crab. Kroger's sushi is better than this garbage. The foil wrapped ginger and wasabi was so squashed, I had to peel it apart. The packet looked old and not at all appetizing. They just don't seem to care anymore. I have tried to support their business, but the junk they throw together has no place in the world of sushi. A waste of money. I suggest they close their doors.

Amazing Thai food! Got crab Rangoon and crispy pad Thai both were perfect. I got 2/3 spice level and honestly I wished that it was a tad spicier! Amazing rich flavor in the pad Thai sauce. I got carry out and the staff were friendly and my food was ready on time. Highly recommend!!

This is a good one! We are on a bit of a quest to find Asian restaurants in the Cincinnati metro that we like, and Mango Tree makes the list. It's Thai and Sushi (I don't know why, but these two come together a lot on this side of the country). We were here for the Thai. We ordered Tom Kha (Chicken Coconut Soup) and a Tom Yum (Shrimp soup). Both were excellent! Then we shared the Crispy Pad Thai. It was so good! Great flavors all around. Server was pleasant. The restaurant was clean and comfy. There was a bustling carry-out business, based on all the to-go packages we saw going by, and the restaurant itself was full on a Thursday night. Lots of parking (it's in a strip mall). We'll be back to check out more of the menu!

Favorite Asian food in Cincy! Tucked in a strip mall on Wooster pike which is easy to drive but you don't want to miss it. Haven't ever dined in but the take out orders are always on time. Crab Rangoon, Mango Tree roll, and drunken noodles are our staples. Reasonably priced for the amount of food

Mango Tree is a small establishment where it may be better to order out as the space is very tight and not good for big groups. I was excited that they had so many choices but I don't think this was the best curry and salmon I've had around. I was slightly disappointed as I was really wanting a spicy filling dish. The waitress was very nice and the food did not take long to come out.

Mango Tree is one of my favorite sushi spots in Greater Cincy, and we never would have discovered it if it weren't for an FC Cincinnati game. Let me explain. My fiancé and I had reservations for a different sushi restaurant in OTR ... and even though we arrived downtown ten minutes early, we could not find parking anywhere! We drove around for nearly half and hour before calling it quits ... but we were still craving sushi. So we hopped on Yelp searching for some other options ... and read through several rave reviews for this little sushi spot nestled into a strip mall outside of Mariemont. The restaurant was busy - but not totally packed for a Saturday night. We decided to sit outside on their patio ... as did a few other customers. Our waitress was incredibly friendly - recommending which Sake she thought was best. We ordered a variety of sushi rolls ... our favorite was their house special, the "Mango Tree Roll." We also couldn't resist tasting some of their Thai offerings ... the Green Curry was flavorful with a kick, but not too spicy. We left feeling glad our original dinner plans had fallen through, because then we never would have discovered this hidden gem. We'll definitely be back soon to enjoy even more of their expansive menu!

Delicious food! Lots of options to choose from for a great price. I loved the bento box options they offered for lunch! Staff was very friendly and attentive.

    Front, nice little patio too!

The best sushi in the area. Rolls are decently priced and great size/quality . The Hawaiian roll is my favorite.

The service was impeccable and they were so knowledgeable about every fish and all the prep into it. The ambiance was interesting, we had a girl begging for soy sauce and the chef just gave her salt. Was kinda funny to watch but made a little bit of tension. I think the chef handled it in a mature manner, the customer was clearly drunk or something and was not happy with their experience. Like I said this puts all other sushi in a lower classification. So much effort and thought into everything.

I went to the Thursday 5:00 p.m. seating, and I know I got lucky getting a reservation. I logged on…read morearound 7:00 that morning to book, and I was able to get one on my first try. Several people in my group said they'd tried multiple times without any luck. From what I've heard, Thursday at 5:00 is one of the easier reservations to get, because the Friday and Saturday 7:00 p.m. seatings disappear almost instantly. I've had sushi all over the country (although not all over the world), and this was hands down the best sushi I've ever had. The quality of the fish is incredible--they fly it in from Japan--and every course was beautifully presented. The pairings the chef came up with were amazing and really let the fish shine. The menu changes every day and every season, so you'll never have the exact same experience twice. One of my favorite surprises was the miso soup. The chef explained that the broth is made using the bones from the fish we were eating that evening, and it was honestly one of the best bowls of miso soup I've ever had. The only suggestion I'd make is to have a simple printed menu with the names of each course and maybe a few notes about the ingredients. The chef explains every course, but there are so many Japanese names and details that it's hard to remember everything by the time you leave. I would have loved something to take notes on or even just glance at while he was talking. The only other thing I noticed was that the ending felt just a little rushed. There are seatings at 5:00, 7:00, and 9:00, and by the end of our meal the next group was already waiting in the entryway. It wasn't a big deal, but it was noticeable. The experience is $115 per person, and the required 20% gratuity is paid when you make the reservation. You can also order alcoholic drinks during dinner. At the end, the chef offers an optional add-on (ours was either a $30 bowl or a $12 roll). I skipped it because it featured a type of fish that usually isn't my favorite, but after seeing what the chef did with everything else, I was honestly tempted to give it a try. Maybe next time. This was one of those meals that you keep thinking about long after it's over. Everything was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I can honestly say it's the best sushi I've ever had, and I'd love to come back every season to see how the menu changes.

We were aiming for dim sum a couple doors down, but they were slammed and had no out of the way place to wait. So, we walked a few yards and went into Kawa. Tablets are used to order appetizers, drinks, etc. All delivered by a robot or a train on a track above the conveyor. The sushi itself, along with other items like dessert, rolls by constantly. The best part, pricing is clear. Everything on the belt is $3.45 per plate, subject to change, of course. The sushi was fresh and the portions were in line with the prices. If you've never had conveyor belt sushi or you just want to try something a little unique to the Cincinnati area, Kawa is the place. While this location is a little out of the way for us, Hyde Park is a quick drive and we will return.
