Came here a while back because it was new and something different. I forgot exactly what the kids ordered, mango ice cream with rice balls and a mango sundae maybe? Both were pretty good. Wife ordered the black sesame paste with rice balls, she liked it and said it was authentic. I tried them all and thought they were good, but considering the price, not amazing. The atmosphere is much better than your typical Asian shaved ice/tea/dessert places (in fairness, I'm kinda old school, so maybe I'm used to how Asian places focus on good food at cheap prices). Came on a Sunday evening to try it out. The place was crowded, all the larger seating areas were taken. The tables left only seated two and we are a family of four. So we stood around for approximately five minutes and waited for a seat to open up. When you walk in, there's a table with a note to grab a menu, sit down, and go up to the counter when ready to order. Service may need a little work. Staff doesn't appear to be friendly and answered my questions with an annoyed attitude. The dessert took a while to come out but it was slightly busy; understandable. So when i was ordering i was telling the cashier that i wanted a crepe, and she told me to hold on, and then she finally ask me what i wanted and i told her a crepe, with strawberries and nutella, and durain ice cream. Great atmosphere for a desert place, sometimes it's a bit chilly in there so be prepared to leave a bit nippy. It's basically mango everything. If you don't like mangos don't come here. I've tried almost everything on the menu, but my favorite has to be the mango tower for two, which is also happens to be the most expensive thing on the menu. I went on a road trip to Dallas and this was the second place we decided to go, I was really excited because I love mangos. I thought the concept of layering crepes with unique flavors was great - the taste however was not. I got the mango layer crepe, my friend got the durian layered cake, and the other got matcha layered crepe, so I got to try all three flavors. The mango made me want to throw up, something about it, it had little to no flavor but something intoxicating about it made me to want to throw up, I could not finish this, it was absolutely disgusting. I tried my friends other flavored crepes and same experience, they all made me want to throw up. The durian has a strong durian smell and taste - which I like but it still made me want to throw up. The matcha one had too much matcha powder on the top that made me gag and almost want to vomit. None of the cakes were finish. Would not recommend, quite expensive too. We ordered the Mango Tower for Two. Forewarning: it's not for two people. They warned us and we didn't listen, thinking we could tackle it. Overall, it doesn't taste bad but definitely more Mango than I would've liked with not enough balance.
