Came for a late night sweet. It's one of the few dessert places in Chinatown open until 11pm. Surprisingly, they do takeout for their special desserts. We got their A3 to go (Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly w. Mango Ice Cream). There was definitely an emphasis on the juice part of the bowl and less on the ice cream. There was not much sago, overpowered by the lychee jelly. There isn't a lot of seating at this location, and it was packed at this hour.
Great service, very fast, when I walked in, immediately was handed a menu before I even got to the counter to order. You can get to go and also eat in. I got a mango strawberry smoothie to try, and I have to say, it tastes like sweet mango, has real fresh mango chunks. I have yet to try desert. One thing I would say, the place needs some decluttering. I want to see it cleaner & trendier.
Came here with a friend on a Thursday night after work and it was still pretty busy. Mango Mango is a quaint spot with tasteful decor and even a little lofted seating area. Service was quick and we got seated fast. I ordered the mango dessert with ice cream, sago, and pomelo, and my friend got the tiramisu. The mango dessert was amazing. Super fresh, sweet mango chunks with that natural tropical flavor, paired with creamy ice cream that melted into everything. The sago added a soft, chewy texture and the pomelo gave little bursts of citrusy bitterness that balanced the sweetness really well. It felt light but still indulgent. The tiramisu was also really good. Soft, creamy layers with a nice coffee flavor that was not too bitter, and just the right amount of sweetness. Very smooth and easy to keep eating. We stayed for a while just chatting and were not rushed out at all, which I really appreciated. Not every café lets you sit and relax like that. It is located down a slightly shady alley, but honestly it is fine, especially when it is still light out and since it is in Chinatown. Just feels a little hidden at first. Overall a really solid dessert spot. Not just mango focused, but if you love mango like I do, this place hits.
Was in Philly downtown for the first time and wanted something sweet and refreshing. Walked over from my hotel and was surprised because it's two floors with dine in and takeout options. The menu has a lot to choose from but I went with their number one, the special mango sauce with ice cream and pomelo sago. It was what I needed on a hot summer day, super refreshing. Took it to go and they pack it up in a really cute bag. Would come back to try more things and maybe do a dine in with friends next time.
I had their Mango Bingsu for the first time and it is amazing! The mango pieces were so juicy and sweet and the snow ice wasn't icy but milky and creamy. Just wish they offered a smaller version. I would love to see more Bingsu options like Matcha and Ube!
One of our colleague recommended this place. The interior is cute and the ingredients seem fresh. Service is friendly. However, the portion is on the smaller side, the quality, and flavor are just about average. Compare to my experience with the other mango themed deserts places, this is average at best. I talked to my other colleague who went later said he didn't get the wow feeling either. Maybe it's just the day we were there.
I've only dined through DoorDash couple of times and had ordered the Mango with Coconut Sticky Rice and Ice Cream. This dish is absolutely delicious and refreshing!! They were very generous with fresh mango and 2 sticky rice patties. I initially thought what a great dessert to share. But after having a taste, nope! It's all mine. The dessert is packaged with care and the to go bag for delivery has insulation to keep the ice cream cold. Thank you for providing great treats and wonderful service! I look forward to and in person visit soon!
First time here, was here for wife hair cut right across the street, it was in the afternoon so it wasn't that busy, the table inside are for dine in only and wait to be seated, there are plenty of space, service is as quick, the ambiance is good. The selection was good for a dessert place. Since this is a mango place I tried the mango sundae. The sundae looks nice and it tastes good, there are chunks of fresh mango at the bottom, 2 scoop of ice cream, it could have been bigger or another scoop consider the price, otherwise not bad
Ambiance: I love mango mango and so I was excited to try it in Philly. Spacious so we did not need to wait Service: the service was good ! We got the one with strawberry and mango with sago Food $$: Pretty good dessert spot Audience: Solo Trip [X] Family Friendly [ X] Friends [X] Date Spot [X] Recommendations/tips: I would recommend! It's in Chinatown
Everything on the menu looked incredible, but I opted for the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly with Mango Ice Cream. Light, refreshing, and a mango lover's heaven.
Well worth the wait. You go and put your name on list. Can also order take out instead of waiting to be seated. Would recommend getting different things to share. Once you get seated, the food comes quick.
The mango strawberry thing wasn't bad but I wasn't that impressed. It tasted fine but nothing about it really calls to me. I'd definitely eat it again but I'm not sure if this would be my first choice to visit
They have a simplified menu. Unfortunately my favorite mango mochi has been chopped. There is only one two-sided menu. I picked mango with herb jelly and sago. I really enjoyed it. The herb jelly is not sweet. The natural sweetness from the mango is sufficient. The crème brûlée Mille crepe is also recommended. I like the crunchy topping from the caramelized sugar.
Best Mango Mango Dessert location I've tried! The mango was perfectly ripe and in season, and the mango ice cream was light and delicious. We ordered the A1 and D1, loved both! Service was quick!! Loved the vibe! Not a big fan of Chinatown location but the food is worth it. read more

This must be one of the few dessert places in Chinatown where the seating section is larger (2 floors). Highly popular with younger folks; we had a group of 7 so we waited about 15 min for a table. The service was okay, I think the employees were in their zone doing what their job because customers kept on coming in. I think everyone in my group enjoyed their dessert, but I think overall observation was the portion size being smaller than we expected for the price the business was charging... read more
Always a solid go-to for my family every time we're visiting Philly. Open space with lots of seating on two stories. Service is quick and servers are patient. We're always getting some combination of a couple of classic desserts, a crepe, or pancake. As you'd expect, the desserts with mango are tasty and we're also partial to the ones with durian! Sweet but not too sweet, refreshing, and enough variety to keep things interesting. Toppings also had a great texture. Personal favorites are Snow White juice with durian and black rice, special mango juice sago with pomelo w/ mango ice cream, and mango and black rice. I thought the pancakes were just okay - the crepes for them had an interesting texture to me. Also, the crepes were solid, just not what I'd be coming here for. Black sesame paste soup with rice balls was also mid - the rice balls had a great chewy texture, but the black sesame felt a little lacking. read more

I tried their mango sago and matcha crepe cake. The mango was very fresh, and the crepe cake was nice and creamy. I also wanted to recognize the server that day for being patient with me. I got there early and had to wait awhile. He was really nice and courteous. The ambiance is nice, although some of the seats were starting to crack. read more
This is a small dessert shop with mostly mango based items located in a small alley in Chinatown. The ambiance is nice if you want a place to sit and hang out. Depending on the day and time, there can be a wait for a table. They also offer most of their menu items for take-out but it is really slow. We got two drinks for take out and it took 10-15 minutes to get them. We've tried a couple of different things from the menu. We got the mango juice sago and pomelo with mango ice cream. It is a small cup. While it is good, I feel it is pricey for what you get (especially for take-out). We've also tried the mango shave ice but that is for dine in only. It has mango, mochi, ice cream, shaved ice, and topped with the mango juice. This is our favorite item and the only reason why we'd make the trek out to this shop. However, this wasn't available the last two times we've tried to go so I don't know when it will be back. We've also gotten the special mango juice smoothie-o. This is mango blended with cream, layered with sago on the bottom, and topped with mango and pomelo pieces. It was a sweet drink and pretty good. Overall, decent dessert shop. I'm waiting for the mango shaved ice item to come back! read more

The ice cream melted a bit on the way home, but it was still really good. It had fresh pieces of mango, sage, and pomelo, which made it refreshing and flavorful. This small mom-and-pop shop offers desserts at a relatively decent price; I spent $9 on mine. They also have a variety of drinks and hot desserts on the menu that I'd like to try next time. Service was also quick, waited only 2 minutes between payment and receiving the item. read more

It was very busy, even late in the evening. The menu was both expansive and simple, I love mango, so this is the place for me! We had a bigger group so it was a minute before we got a table, but the staff were great in organizing a table for us. I loved the treats we tried, but our parfaits were mostly melted upon receiving them. I do want to go back again! read more
This is my second time going to a Mango Mango Dessert. First time was in Flushing. Was looking for a sweet treat after dim sum and was glad to stumble onto this place. We got a mango smoothie, matcha crepe cake, and durian crepe cake. The best thing was the durian crepe cake. It was soooo good and tasted like real durian. It was way better than the matcha one. So, if you love durian, you need to get it. I wish there was a Mango Mango Dessert nearer to me. Maybe one day there will be one in Bergen County and I would go there a lot for the durian crepe cake. FYI; It this location, in order to sit at the tables, you have to dine-in. read more
We ordered from Mango Mango Dessert in Chinatown for my friend's birthday. The place has a ton of Asian desserts. This place probably has the most amount of mango based desserts I have ever seen. We got the Mango and Black Rice, Mango Mille Crepe Cake, and the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo w/ Mango Ice Cream. All the desserts fell short for the price. The mango Mille crepe cake tasted like paper instead of crepe. The Mango and Black Rice offered an Asian type feel. I liked the black rice balls. I also really liked the sweet milk base that the dessert offered. The only dessert I found worth the money (potentially) was the Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo w/ Mango Ice Cream. The mango ice cream wasn't too sweet. I liked the sago pearls in the dish since it wasn't too gelatinous like bubble tea and really meshed well with the ice cream. The dish also had chunks of mango. read more

Hi Payal,…
If you're a mango fanatic, this place is for you. Almost everything on the menu contains mangoes in some capacity. I was hoping to try the shaved ice, but unfortunately that wasn't available this time. So I settled for the mango crêpe cake and another mango dessert which had vanilla ice cream and coconut. Both were good, pretty cheap also around $10 each. They also have a large selection of drinks, which I will definitely be trying sometime in the near future. There is very limited seating, so expect at least a 5 to 10 minute wait. read more
Fruit based desserts always taste fresh across the mango mango stores but is on the pricier side. Mango ice cream is a fresher mix of mango and mango ice cream than your typical mango ice cream (hope that made sense). The location is a convenient walk if you're in the Philadelphia Chinatown location. A tighter space especially during peak hours but there's an upstairs and the workers try their best to accommodate you. FYI: if you're doing takeout, go straight to the register. If you're dining in, wait for the worker to seat you so they know where you're sitting and can serve you - they bring you water and your desserts + you order and pay at the table. Disclaimer: I typically only get the sago variety and mango ice cream based desserts. The cakes/pastries aren't that worth it to me here. read more

Mango mango was a great place to have dessert after having dinner in the Chinatown area. Being a lover of mango, I was really happy with all the different options that were on the menu and the ability to sit down and dine versus It feeling like a quick eat sort of place. Being that I don't do dairy, however, I was limited and decided to go with a fruit plate that had a waffle option - so it would be nice if there were some dairy free ice cream options. My friend tried the crêpe cake which she loved and we definitely would try to come back. read more
I visited on a weekend evening after dinner in Chinatown, craving a quick dessert bite that was nearby. The space was packed, which comes as no surprise since it has a pretty extensive sweets menu with a lot of rich, diverse options. My mango cake was very light and delicious, and the extra fruits on the side in addition to the slice made for a great finish to the evening. I've tried the brûlée and green tea flavors before as well, and would recommend those two in particular. The only knock from five stars was that service was a bit slow for my visit unfortunately; the server came by our table a few times but we had to wave him down to pay. Mango Mango does also do pickup options as well, so it's still a very versatile spot for dessert in or to go. read more
Have wanted to try Mango Mango for a while. I never made it to the one nearest to me in Cleveland, but stopped by when visiting my cousins in Philly. The dessert shop is situated in Chinatown in downtown Philly. The service was fast and friendly, without being rushed. We ordered the mango crepe and the mango juice with sago, lychee jelly, strawberries, mangos, and mango ice cream. The clear winner was the mango bowl with the jelly and ice cream. It was so nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Not for once did we think we are overindulging. The mango ice cream was perfect. I want a gallon of that to go. The crepe was okay. I thought the layers of crepe were too thin; therefore, leaving each bite with too much of the whipped cream in between the layers. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and would suggest a classic or sundae dessert for the full experience. read more

Mango Mango Dessert is a popular Asian dessert chain that specializes in mango sweets. It is an ideal spot to go to for a sweet treat and it is usually pretty packed. There is an extensive menu with plenty of options to choose from and it is not only mango desserts! You get seated and place an order through a "waiter," which is interesting for a dessert spot. However, the desserts come out really quickly. At this location, there is a lot of seating as there are both top and bottom floors, although the top floor seems to only be open at specific times. My friends and I ordered the Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly with Mango Ice Cream, Special Mango Juice Sago & Pomelo with Mango Ice Cream, and the Brown Sugar Cream Puff. The mango desserts were pretty sweet and yummy! I think I prefer eating mango on its own as a fruit, so having it in dessert form was a bit much for me. The Brown Sugar Cream Puff fell short for me as well; it was really hard to bite into and it tasted a bit bitter, which I did not enjoy. Overall, I think Mango Mango Dessert is a good place to check out for aesthetic desserts that use common Asian flavors! read more

Mango Mango in Chinatown is always a solid choice. I've ordered the mango green tea and the mango sticky rice from this location and both were delicious. The mango was ripe and naturally sweet without that artificial taste. Sweet but not too sweet, just right. Service was a little slow this day, but it was during the Eagles parade so I definitely understand. The server was still nice and kept his cool, which I appreciated. It's also a cool spot to catch up with a friend or take a break while walking around the neighborhood. Definitely a place I enjoy and would come back to. read more

This place is so good. The decor is elegant and trendy. The desserts are enticing and delicious. We first came here when we were visiting the city for a week before deciding to move here two years ago. We came to this place every night that week. We have continued to come here and to bring family members who visit us as it is one of our favorite places to get dessert. It is very popular and can get very packed at night with a very long wait, so I would recommend coming here during the day if possible. read more

After gorging ourselves at Reading Terminal Market (Filipino BBQ, lumpia, Philly cheesesteaks, beignets, fried shrimp po'boys), we desperately needed to burn some calories so we took a stroll through Chinatown nearby. iUnfortunately, our efforts were thwarted upon seeing Mango Mango down one of the side streets. We were seriously un-hungry but all of us are mango fiends (that's the Filipino in me I guess) and we couldn't resist giving this a try). It was a late afternoon when we stopped in, and the establishment was mostly empty. Very different from the experience at Hui Lau Shan in Cupertino, CA, where there are lines out the door at seemingly all hours of the day. We considered the extensive menu and made our selections to share. Mango with sago and lychee jelly, and herbal jelly - normally you choose just one of the jellies, but we couldn't decide and ultimately paid for some extra herbal jelly on the side. Mango was very fresh tasting, and the sago and jelly provided some textural variation that was very nice. Mango pannacotta - I'm a sucker for pannacotta and the moment I saw this on the menu I knew I was ordering it. The pannacotta was delightfully light and creamy, the mango was sweet and juicy. Prices were similar to slight less than equivalent desserts in the Cupertino/Sunnyvale/Santa Clara area. Service seemed a little indifferent but that's fine. The decor is pleasant and the dining room is airy and bright. Snyways, though this was a small sampling of their delicacies, it was a very good experience and since I'm going be in Philadelphia quite a bit over the next few years, I'll certainly be back. read more

This place is deep in Chinatown and its tough to find a parking spot but the desserts are all worth it. Service can be a bit slow since its usually crowded which tells you its good. We tried the Mango Sundae which was a delight. Mango during winters is anyways a blessing. Also tried the Green Tea crepe cake slice which was amazing. Not too sweet and super light. Loved every bite of it. read more

Hi, there is one in Edison,NJ 1729 Lincoln Highway 08817. There are also 5 locations in NY. I personally believe it will be worth the drive once the East Coast opens up again. I hope you are able to visit and find it enjoyable!
