Once in while, an açaí bowl sounds really good. It's like the healthier alternative to ice cream. For lunch today, I made my way over to Pressed Juicery to snag a plant-based bowl. The selection of snacks at the register is very carefully curated. Mostly all-natural/clean on-the-go foods, with a few recognizable brands found at Whole Foods. I love that they partnered with Cymbiotika, too. The wellness aspect of the store truly impressed me. I also want to note how clean it was inside. I got a quick "hello" from the employee at the front, but he appeared to be packing an online order, and was the only associate in the store. I perused the menu until he was ready to assist. I ordered the açaí power bowl. Everything was cold and fresh - the granola added a nice amount of crunch and the banana mixed in the açaí was my favorite part. I added a pinch of cinnamon when I got back to my desk. Great spot to pick up healthy snacks and juices for those busier days! I definitely want to stop in again for a few of the superfood-infused shots. read more

I was in town for a work trip, stopped here before a wework meeting and was SO HAPPY I did! The staff member was so friendly and helpful and the inside was very clean. The acai bowl was customizable and everything was fresh! I felt full and satisfied with my semi healthy bowl and it was delicious! I even came back the next day because I loved it so much! Fruit is fresh, granola is crunchy with a sweet flavor. The acai part taste like it's mixed with oat milk or a milk based paste not just solely açaí which is a pleasant twist. It's smooth and taste delicious all together. What surprised me is the portion size ! It's is not a bowl more like 1/2 inch deep plate. Very small portion size for what you are paying for. It's a small layer of açaí with fruit on top. They could drizzle more honey on top. However the quality of food is top. read more

I came to the grand opening event for pressed! I remember visiting their stores in NYC - and I am sooo excited they're here. Their juices all taste so good. Their grand opening event was great - lots of free samples of products, gift cards, and free juices. Everyone was super super nice and I know it must have been overwhelming. When it comes to healthy drinks, I'm completely clueless. While dining outdoors at a nearby restaurant, I see Pressed Juicery. A lot of my Cali Yelpers seem to love it and it's something I have been super curious about. Upon entering the small shop I was greeted immediately. It's grab-and-go, no seating. The young man was very helpful and patient as I was shooting a bunch of questions at him like which one is good for you, what do you recommend, which ones do you like? What I should have asked instead was...which one is the yummiest one. Anyhoo, I decided to go with his recommendation and my son chose a protein smoothie. I noticed that there is a lot of sediment on the bottom of the bottles. You really have to shake it up virgiously. You know that face you make when you have to drink medicine? Well, that was my reaction upon first sip. Idk why I was expecting it to taste like Jamba Juice. Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie - it tasted gritty and chalky. There was no banana flavor coming through. It was a bit watery. Greens 1 - I know it's suppose to be healthy but it did not taste good. The celery and cucumber did come through but I much rather munch on a fresh stick than have this in a drink form. A hop, skip away down the corner of the street is a boba shop. the juices were good as long as they stay cold. i really enjoyed the citrus one and the roots one! I was not a fan of the two milks they were very chalky and I did not want to finish them. Very bad service. The staff was so rude. I bought some juice there. He said that he needs time to prepare. Of course I said ok. He wasn't happy with that. While he prepared the juice, I asked if he would put the stickers on the bottles. He looked at me with annoyed face and said "I don't have enough stickers " . What stood out was this! I went in today and asked what the yogurt it was not sure what to call it was made out of... the new person behind the counter could not tell me!! Walked in, no one was standing at the register. Requested an açaí bowl with extra vegan marshmallows and extra strawberries, they provided neither. Bowl is also supposed to come with bananas, I did not see bananas. I requested a chocolate almond drink and was given a strawberry drink. First and last time going, would not recommend. read more
