Each bowl or smoothie is made custom to order, and the staff can help you pick and choose what you want, because the options are a little overwhelming, especially if you, like me, aren't up to date with all the trendy ingredients and such. It's usually not very busy in here, easy to be in and out in 5 min. They have a few tables, but I like to go and eat in the nearby park after getting my food. The açaí itself was made with ice, completely flavorless, and we were wondering if there was any actual açaí in them. Some of the worst açaí bowls we'd had, and we didn't finish them. It also took the person helping us a very long time to make them. For about $13 a bowl, this was very disappointing. Maybe the smoothies are better, but we wouldn't go back.

I was feeling something with mango, so went with the Caribbean Swizzle Smoothie. Tasted fresh, unquestionably quality ingredients, nice and cold, thick smoothie consistency, and not too watery. There was only one gentleman working and a bit of a line given the warm day, but they were incredibly nice - clearly working hard - and the drink was well worth the little wait. It was also very reasonably priced - $7.99 for the small, $8.99 for the large (worth the extra dollar for me). I've been a number of times since, and this is now my go-to fruit smoothie place in the city. I have a soft spot for mango, so the Caribbean Swizzle is still my fave. I also love that it's located right on the corner of Washington Square and just a block from Independence Hall - perfect for a day walking around the city and a relaxing day in the park/Old City.
