My second visit to this establishment; I haven't been back since they first opened and I was invited to attend as a Yelp Elite member -- still one of my favorite Yelp Elite experiences! Lots of seating and great location near Jeff Hospital. This time, I brought my family for some delicious treats after Panda Fest in Dilworth Park. We purchased the chocolate, pistachio, tirimisu, and fruity pebbles donuts, strawberry croffle, and two 'dogs. It took a while to get our food, and the donuts were not as flavorful as the croffle, but the croffle was a hit! Good customer service as well.

I ordered a door dash thai bubble tea with tapioca and 6 mochi donuts. The bubble tea was quite good and the tapioca was well prepared. The mochi donuts were excellent with some flavors exceeding the others. The mango, strawberry, raspberry, and brown sugar were excellent. The strawberry funnel cake was a bit underwhelming to be fair.

Five-star follow up to an excellent experience. My second visit introduced me to new donut selections. They are constantly making them fresh but I'm sure some sell out quicker than others so come with a bit of flexibility. I loved the coconut on my first visit and was pleasantly surprised by the black sesame on my second. While one donut is a sweet treat, three is probably the minimum order (imo). I did not get a dog on my second trip, however, will stand by my recommendation of the ramen dog from my first visit. Likewise, no tea this trip but was very happy with my lychee green tea last time and recommend it.

Cute and affordable! It was such a fun experience. The food was spot on what to expect. The service was really fast and personable. I think the order was a little too big for one person. Go with a group and try a bunch of things!

Sooooooo good! Upon entering and exiting Mochiatsu, customers were in and out! This place is very popular in a high traffic area. The wait for the Korean Hot Dog was minimal. The restaurant is very clean and well lit. The employee was so helpful and patient as I tried to decide which donuts, hot dog and drink I wanted. There are so many amazing items to choose from and I wanted to try one of everything. I decided to go with Lychee Iced Tea, since I'm obsessed with everything lychee. For the Mochi Donut, the selection was huge. I chose S'mores, Nutella and Strawberry Funnel Cake and the half mozzarella and half hot dog with ramen. Oh my goodness! Everything was delicious and so flavorful. My favorite donut was the funnel cake, it taste just like a carnival funnel cake. You have to give this place a try!

I've seen the sign of this mochi donut store for a while and I am glad to see that it's finally open. I follow their instagram account and it says that they open at 10,. However, Google maps says 10:3 on Saturdays and Yelp has another different hours. I stopped by at the store and it has no hours of operation on the window. I arrived there around noon to be safe and asked the staff there. He didn't give me definite answer, he said that if I arrived at 10:30, the store should be open. There were many options of flavor. I picked coffee, tiramisu, raspberry, pineapple, mango, and Nutella. My favorite was coffee. It had a pice of biscoff cookie that complemented the coffee flavor. Raspberry was good too. Mango and pineapple tasted artificial to me. The donuts had the typical chewiness of mochi. They were fresh and soft. Definitely check out this place when you are at Jefferson hospital area. It occupies the former Philly Pretzel store.

FOOD Assorted mochi donuts (i.e. glazed, taro, matcha) are available for purchase from singles, half-dozen, to full-dozen. Although I didn't order any when I visited, they were pristine and decorated beautifully. DRINKS I ordered the taro milk tea with boba at 50% sweetness. The taro flavor was nice strong, and the boba was soft and chewy. Despite the 50% sweetness, if you're ordering toppings like the boba, I would downgrade the sweetness further as the syrup from the boba itself is already pretty sweet. No other complaints otherwise! SERVICE The staff here is kind. The cashier was very friendly, and my order was quickly available. Free wifi is available. AMBIANCE 4-5 tables for two are available inside the store. The interior is minimalistic, bright, and aesthetically-pleasing. It's a great place to grab-and-go or catch up with a friend. PARKING Paid street parking is available at a limited capacity. Construction work is in front of the store, so parking directly in front of the store is not possible as of 7/2023. There is a parking lot by the Target and a few other garages in the area nearby.

I arrived at Mochiatsu unfamiliar with Korean donuts and hot dogs but was excited to try it. I ordered an original rice hot dog, 3 donuts, and iced tea. The hot dog is basically a corn dog, but better. A very juicy dog with some type of fried rice coating. It was delicious. The donuts are a bit chewier than what I'm used to, but still very good. I had an oreo doubt, glazed donut, and tiramisu donut. The oreo one was the best. The iced tea was very sweet, which I loved. I couldn't have asked for a better glass of iced tea. I'll definitely be back to try more of the hot dogs and donuts.

the s'mores mochidonut was to die for. It was light enough to enjoy midday and sweet enough that it hit the spot, without being overwhelming. I can't wait to try other flavors next time I'm nearby.

So glad I came. The corn dogs were so good- the Cheetos were a great touch. The spicy Mayo is BANGING. The donuts were chewy and not overly sweet and the peach bubble tea was refreshing- u can have a lunch for under $15 here - unheard of in CC. Come quick!

Black sesame on a donut fire. On a mochi donut absolutely legendary. I have to get every flavor in the case. This time I tried the mango 11/10 the pistachio 8/10 and the black sesame 10/10. If you're dissatisfied after leaving hear you probably bite your nails or something idk but go here and treat yourself to some chewy fresh deliciousness with some delicately flavored icing that just screams eat me up! Always greater by the smell of fresh pastries and sugar it's fire. I'll try their boba next time

If you haven't tried mochi donuts you should! If you're a cake donut person then this is NOT your thing. Mochi rings are moist, soft and light. Not heavy but very filling and so good! Definitely a great experience and the presentation of the donuts are amazing. I stopped by on a Sunday and the place quickly became busy. There was a pleasant young lady at the register who helped me chose which tea I should order. I ended up getting a mango tea with jelly Boba pearls. The tea was entirely too sweet. Not in a decent way either. The drink was overly saturated with sugar. I ended up throwing the drink out. The donuts were great though. No complaints there. I will come back and try the traditional boba and maybe that experience will be better.

Passion fruit ice tea was very smooth and flavorful. Not too sweet, just the way I like it. Very quick service, not busy Thursday at 11:30am

We joked that I should keep visiting different ChiCha locations around the world to compare. There were a handful of customers sitting around when we arrived weekday mid-afternoon. The staff only had one customer waiting for their drink and no one waiting to order until we came. They only have one kiosk which I think is inefficient unless their traffic isn't that high. I ordered my usual: high mountain pouchong, light ice, less sweet, grass jelly. In terms of tea flavor, I think it's pretty on par with the other ChiCha locations. If I had to rank them it'd be: Boston, New York = Philly = Hong Kong, Chicago

It was naturally sweet without tasting artificial, allowing the floral notes of the tea to come through. The Dong Ding Tea was the standout for me smooth, aromatic, and incredibly clean-tasting with a rich, roasted finish that lingered pleasantly after each sip. It's the kind of tea you can slowly enjoy and appreciate. If you're looking for authentic, high quality tea instead of overly sweet bubble tea, ChiCha San Chen is definitely worth visiting. I'll absolutely be back to explore more of their menu!

They have a huge selection of drinks, so there's something for everyone. The service really stood out to me. I had a small issue while using tap-to-pay. I accidentally added extra boba after starting the payment process, and another charge was mistakenly processed. The employee immediately got her manager involved when I expressed concern about being charged twice. The manager explained that the extra charge would most likely fall off automatically and reassured me that if it didn't, I could call the shop and they would take care of it. Thankfully, she was absolutely right--the duplicate charge was refunded without any issues. Looking back, it was partly my fault because I tend to rush through payment and make additions at the last minute. A little tip for future customers: finalize your order before tapping your phone or card to pay. Overall, the staff handled the situation professionally, my drink was delicious, and the customer service left a positive impression. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm on that side of town.

They definitely seem consistent, which I really appreciate. I came with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, and wow... this place was packed. Even with the crowd, the staff stayed friendly and worked quickly, so we didn't have to wait too long for our drinks. One thing I still love is the seating. They have giant plushies sitting in the booths, so if you're by yourself, you're not just awkwardly staring at an empty seat across from you. Maybe I'm the only one who appreciates that, but I think it's a cute touch. The matcha here is the real deal. It's bright green, fragrant, and has that rich, earthy flavor with just enough natural bitterness that you know they're using quality matcha. A lot of places advertise matcha, but this one actually delivers. I ordered one of their matcha desserts with ice cream, and it was creamy, refreshing, and let the matcha flavor shine instead of burying it under sugar. My only complaint is that it was pretty warm inside. It was a hot summer day, and I honestly couldn't tell if the air conditioning was running or if it was just fans. Either way, it wasn't very cool inside. Thankfully I had ice cream, so it didn't bother me too much, but it's something to keep in mind if you're stopping by on a really hot day. Overall, another great visit. Friendly staff, consistently high-quality matcha, and a fun atmosphere. If you're a matcha lover, this is still one of my favorite spots in Chinatown.

I personally thought the matcha one was the best. The service was quick and informative. And I loved the little booths they had, it was adorable. That aside, I do think the drinks are mediocre. I ordered their most popular, Mango Matcha and their Hojicha Latte. Sadly I was disappointed, the mango matcha was VERY sweet, but the texture was creamy. I just couldn't get over the overpowering sweetness of the mango puree, but that's my personal preference. The mango flavor itself wasn't bad! Maybe half sweet would be the way to go, Im not sure if they do adjustments. If you love yuzu, I don't recommend their yuzu soft serve HOWEVER their matcha soft serve is pretty yummy Their Hojicha was watery...I really hoped it would be better. I don't recommend it. I was overheated from being in the sun for 20 minutes, so that poster was very appealing to me. I kept thinking about it throughout my meal at Sky Café. Therefore, my friend and I truly trotted over afterwards. When we were deciding what drink to get, we noticed a young guy with an elderly grandma who bought many snacks from their shelves and fridge, so my friend and I went to browse too. We don't go to Vietnamese cafes and markets much, so many things we saw there looked interesting to us. Unfortunately we couldn't try everything, so we just window shopped. My friend ordered the Kumquat Thai Tea. It tastes like what it sounds like but that actually bothered my friend lol. When I tried it, I was surprised by how it's not as refreshing as I expected. I think the Thai tea base could be more clear. The cup wasn't sealed properly, so tea kept spilling as we walked. I didn't want to get the wintermelon tea, because I saw prebatched bottles in the fridge, so I would question what's the difference ordering with them vs grabbing a bottle myself. Therefore I decided to order the cane juice hoping that it will be good for the summer heat. They said they ran out, so I got the citrus lemongrass tea instead. I'm amused they gave a slice of orange. My drink was more refreshing, and it's a more unique flavor than generic cafes out there so I'm pleased. It wasn't too sweet. The café has cute wooden benches and tables. The selection of Vietnamese snacks were intriguing and should be legit given the old grandma bought a lot. Even though I don't know how realistic it is for me to come again, but I'd want to!
