I'd never had the bacon cheese fries before, and they definitely didn't disappoint. The fries were hot, perfectly crispy, and paired beautifully with the rich, creamy melted cheese and smoky bacon. They were easily the highlight of the meal. The staff was also incredibly friendly, which always makes the experience better when you're traveling. Next time, I'll definitely be back to try one of their burgers alongside another order of those fantastic bacon cheese fries. A great stop if you're looking for a satisfying meal before your flight.

From past bad experiences with burgers and product quality issues in many different airport restaurants, I normally don't order burgers because they are always cold, dry, tasteless, and downright horrible. But this burger from Shake Shack was surprisingly very good. I ordered from the self-serving kiosk and the wait time for my order was about 5 minutes. The entire restaurant including the counter area, dining area, and even the condiments station was all very clean and inviting. I ordered the Double Shack Burger made with two smashed angus beef patties, American cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and Shack Sauce on a toasted potato bun, an order of fries and a 20 oz bottled drink for $24.79. A little step, but of course, all menu items are à la carte, and this is airport dining. The bun was fresh soft, and lightly toasted. The burger patties were nicely smashed, hot, juicy, the cheese melted and all the condiments were fresh, cool, and bright. This burger was prepared with care and assembled beautifully to create the perfect burger. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked, lightly salted, and golden brown. This was by far the BEST airport burger and fries I have ever eaten. Date of Visit: Saturday 05-03-26 Shake Shack | Newark Liberty International Airport | Terminal A

The rice was cooked - chicken wasn't tough, tomato & corn salsa has good flavors... sadly the guac was kind of bland... still a good bowl. I would price it at about $7- the general price of a McDonald's Big Mac. Why? Because although it's a fresher burger with some idiosyncrasies, the Big Mac is more substantial. All in all, worth a try. Plus a lot of unique items on the menu that I look forward to trying. The burgers just need plumping up. I like them and will be back. Try them.

We ended up getting the dumpling soup, k pop chicken, and kimchi pancake! I was happy about the portion sizes, and I was delightfully surprised that the "small" kimchi pancake is actually so filling! The dumpling soup was so comforting, especially with the cold weather, and there were tiny rice cakes in there too. The k pop chicken was crunchy, and it came with a side of slaw which was also very fresh and crisp. Overall, I love this place. Backed by celebrity investors like LeBron James and Maria Shriver, the concept is an assembly-line approach to customizable artisanal-style pies. Think Chipotle, but make it pizza. Personal sized, thin crust pizza (6 slices) is built right in front of you in an open kitchen, then fired in an oven for 3 minutes. You can finish things off with drizzles of various sauces or a handful of arugula if you fancy extra embellishment. Choose a signature pie or build your own - I love that you can have any toppings for one flat price. For the allergen or diet conscious: gluten-free, cauli, and keto crusts are all available alongside the original and high-rise doughs. We also tried the protein-zza, a California-style chicken & veggie pizza made with cauliflower crust. I was fully prepared to be smug about detecting the alternative crust, but couldn't tell the difference at all. It was generously loaded with toppings, and the roasted garlic really made the taste pop. Fresh, vibrant flavors all around. We went on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded and service was swift, and the pizzas came out beautifully. For a quick-serve franchise, this place delivered high-performance pies that defied my expectations.
