I went here Saturday night to eat dinner with friends. The staff at the register was very attentive and welcoming. Since we were dining in, we chose to sit next to the window, which is actually pretty picturesque. The ambience feels warm like a cozy diner vibe. Their food was delicious! We ended up getting the dumpling soup, k pop chicken, and kimchi pancake! I was happy about the portion sizes, and I was delightfully surprised that the "small" kimchi pancake is actually so filling! The dumpling soup was so comforting, especially with the cold weather, and there were tiny rice cakes in there too. The k pop chicken was crunchy, and it came with a side of slaw which was also very fresh and crisp. Overall, I love this place. Today I put on my big boy pants and went full Spicy Pepper wings! With my cup of milk at the ready I picked up my first wing and just went at it. As a Korean, you KNOW that a restaurant is good if the kimchi they give you is yummy-- this one was pretty dam fresh and GOOD! They have a very simple menu with about just 10 items, served in take out boxes with generous portion size at reasonable pricing. The ambience with the diner kinda setting was great and service was pretty quick. I generally avoid Korean BBQ restaurants as they tend to not include any vegan/vegetarian mains. But these guys serve ONE vegan option - Tofu teriyaki which is definitely worth trying. I tried the tofu teriyaki with brown rice which is served with a side of salad. The tofu was pretty flavorful with enough sauce for the rice, some may find it a bit sweet but was definitely tasty. One can also choose the fried rice ($1 extra) or white rice with their mains. If you wish to add some dressing for your salad or need some sauce for your main, you can fetch some from the choice of sauces placed on a counter at the side. I definitely loved trying some Korean food but also wished they had few more vegan/vegetarian friendly options. Overall it's definitely worth visiting this place for some good Korean BBQ. read more

Went here for a weekend lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The place itself was comfy and there wasnt a lot of people. We ordered the bibimbap and a medium sized soy garlic chicken. I usually like to eat meat but the bibimbap was very satisfying without it. The chicken was good too. I am half Korean. And quite frankly, very picky when it comes to Korean food. I had the Bulgogi here with fried rice and the dish was 'amazing'. (Not an overstatement at all). And no condiments?!?!you should have packets of Sauces and pepper flakes. Much like fast food the pictures of the food here did not match the photos. There aren't any hot vegetables in the chicken teriyaki like the picture. They give you a side of ice cold pickled red onions, a couple cold pieces of broccoli and a bunch of cold shredded... I'm going to 5 Star These Guys. Although i do have a complaint or two. They aren't to off the mark. Start with the complaints: Dumplings were a bit greasy. Fries came a little heavy on the salt. That's All. The good: Although the wings were dipped, they still held the crunch. Right amount of spice. Tender, and perfectly cooked. Not undercooked and not overcooked. Dumplings had amazing flavor, and the perfect amount of crunch and tenderness as well. Although the fries were a bit over salted, I was very impressed with their quality. Not often you have bigger fries cooked right. Crunchy on the outside and a perfect mashed potato in the inside. Not a huge fan of brown rice, however it held up very well to the kick of the wings. Very nice addition. I am a truck driver, the grub hub guy was swift. Got to me within 25mins, and met me at the gate of the shipping warehouse.
