mango charming shaved ice and tea
    Bill L.

They have quite a big menu at this food stall. It's a bit intimidating if you don't know what you're doing or have never had shaved ice before. Their menu boards don't have any prices on them, I'm guessing it's due to cutting cost on having to update their prices? They have 2 sheets at the till with prices of everything but you have to lean in to read it. After some contemplation, I ordered the mango milk icy. They also don't accept tap credit cards or Apple Pay. It took around 5-10 mins for us to get our order. First off the mango and ice cream went really well with the shaved ice, although the mango chunks didn't taste like fresh mango to me, or the sauce was too sweet and it macerated the mangoes. Overall the shaved ice was great, especially in the summer and in the Crystal Mall food court that didn't have any AC. It wasn't too sweet, although I wish there was an option to get an extra side of condense milk or something. My experience with their service was pretty standard. The cashier wasn't friendly but wasn't rude either. They give you your shaved ice and you help yourself to napkins and utensils.

mango passionfruit yogurt slush with pearls

Was craving boba so I decided to get a drink here while I wait for my order from another food stall. I decided to get the passionfruit mango yogurt slush but it wasn't slushy at all nor did I see or taste the yogurt. There was alot of passionfruit seeds too and it was quite expensive. Won't be returning

Shaven matcha icy with red beans, mochi and vanilla ice cream. The shaven matcha is so light and the mochi is so delicious!

I love this shaven icy matcha with mochi , red beans and a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

Super blurry photo, but you can see part of the menu

Mango Charming is another great bubble tea and Asian dessert shop, hiding among the many great and reasonably priced food in Crystal Mall. The average price for their drinks are roughly $6-7 depending on what you order. As the name of the shop, Mango Charming really does the mango drinks REALLY well! Even if it cost over $7.... Super friendly and patient staff . Try it out and see what else Crystal Mall has to offer.

    Mango grapefruit tapioca icy

After a meal at Crystal mall food court, I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth. I decided to go with the mango grapefruit tapioca icy. This can be made with just milk or with ice. I had the ice option. At about $7, I thought it was pricy, but when I received the drink, it was quite large. There was plenty of mango on top and it had lots of flavour. It didn't feel like there was so much ice b cause of the toppings and tapioca. I was actually really full from it afterwards. I wouldn't mind coming back here again if I'm ever craving something like this.

    Jasmine green tea w/ mousse
    Andrea X.

Decided to try the jasmine green tea w/ mousse, which is similar to a macchiato. I got 50% sweetness and no ice. The jasmine green tea was nice and fragrant, but the mousse was unimpressive. It was salty, which it is supposed to be, but it was a bit too salty for my liking that it felt overpowering and it didn't blend well with the green tea. I didn't really enjoy the drink itself, but if there is one thing I loved, it was the decoration on the mousse. They drew an adorable cat with matcha power on the mousse, which instantly brightened up my day. I have never seen another bubble tea place do this, and the closest thing I've gotten to this level of detail was coffee shops with latte art.

This is one of the newer stalls located in the Crystal Mall food court. It sells similar drink and dessert items as its predecessor (Cherry Fruit Juice & Icy Bar). I ordered a shaved mango ice for $8.20. I found the portion size small. The ice lacked flavour and I think they could have added more toppings. Overall, it was an underwhelming dessert. For shaved ice desserts, there are better options elsewhere that I would go to first.

Coming here for a bowl of ice shave. I ordered a bowl of coconut milk ice shave and was disappointed by its container. It served in A BUBBLE TEA CUP. How could I eat an ice shave within a bubble tea cup...even though I was willing to pay extra for a bowl, the guy wasn't able to give me a right bowl. Poor service! Very small portion for a $6.2 ice-shave. Taste was just ok.

Order at the counter and they'll call your number to get the food. Waited for 5 mins for our order. We got the red bean bingsoo. Pretty substantial serving of shaved ice with red bean, shaved almond, raisin, and other toppings. I like that the toppings weren't super sweet, but they also give a small cup of condensed milk to up the sweetness. Portion is definitely for sharing unless you want to eat dessert for a meal.

The shaved milk ice itself wasn't very saturated or creamy, and there was a lot of cocoa powder, which made it taste kind of dry overall. I didn't leave feeling super satisfied. That said, the service was great! The staff was really friendly and honest -- when I asked about the mango bingsoo, the person helping us let me know the mangos weren't ripe yet and might taste a bit tart, which I appreciated. Also, there's plenty of seating, so it's a nice place to hang out and chat without feeling rushed.

I usually get the flavored taiyaki here. Compared to traditional taiyaki, Little Pisces ones are chewier, sort of like fried mochi. The fillings are all very good and they're freshly made. They have a 5-piece combo deal where it comrs out to just a little over $3 per taiyaki. The supermarket right below sells 3 taiyakis (that are very good) for about $5 though, so Little Pisces is a bit expensive comparatively. The ice cream come with a taiyaki on top and is super cute. There's usually quite a long line to order and to get the food. Sometimes the line is out the door. Even after ordering, they give you a little buzzer thing that buzzes when your order is ready. This can take quite a long time if there's alot of people. While there is seating, it is limited and people tend to stay awhile, so don't depend on being able to eat inside. In the winter it kind of sucks as you have to exit to eat. I also came here for their hot chocolate festival drinks. The lines were insanely long. The hot chocolate was $12 each and not very big. While the flavors were unique, they weren't very good overall and took forever to wait for.
