First time at this location. It was a bit quiet at late afternoon on Thursday. Clean, welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. I wish vegetarian options had a bit more prominence but I did manage with the way it is setup.

I had recently heard of the Mandarin buffet on a review, of course they were talking about another restaurant in the center of Toronto. This restaurant is outside the city, I ended here by following the GPS. I' am glad I did. After checking temperature at the door,I was seated at a table by Gloria my server, very nice and attentive. I saw a sign that they have a buffet on weekends. I started at the Sushi bar, nice selection of sushi. Then moved to the more traditional Chinese fare. I did not visited every station since I do not eat that much, and wanted to end with fresh fruit and some typical desserts. I ordered the Shirley Temple non-alcoholic beverage cocktail. The food was very good, tasty. Everything clean with plenty of Hand gels to disinfect around and disposable vinyl gloves. At the end, Gloria gave me a warm towel. Nice!

Wow, has delivery at this place gone downhill. There was a time when you would receive your food at least warm. With my most recent order however, my order arrived well over an hour late. I was informed by the order taker that they were busy. When the delivery driver arrived, his excuse was that he was stuck in traffic for a half an hour, which was highly unlikely. Considering it was Friday, it's understandable that this location was busy, but to deliver barely warm food to the customer is totally unsatisfactory. My advice is to just totally avoid this place.

Great deal if you're in the mood to eat like it's going out of fashion! It is better to reserve your spot, you will be seated within 5 minutes of arriving. They have a decent sized buffet with multiple types of sub-cuisines. What's best is, the service. Our server Anita was particularly alert to our needs, was quick to clear out between courses and always had a genuine smile. Another big help is that they have multiple dining halls so you never really feel how crowded this place is. Definitely recommended.

10/10 loved it Especially the waiter tim he was very nice and kind the food was good too

My friends love this clean location and have been coming here for over 15 years. I've joined them on a few occasions for the AYCE venue. The food is great, the service staff is excellent and there is something at the buffet to satisfy everyone; vegetarians, meat lovers, Sushi lovers, seafood regulars, etc. Desserts are also plentiful to fulfill that urge! Parking is free and reservations are recommended. Check meal prices vary depending when you want to dine! Discount available for Seniors 65+ years of age.

We came here on a Saturday evening for my mom's birthday. This Mandarin really improved on their service. Everyone was very attentive and even the manager came by to introduce themselves and leave their card. Their food is standard, and there's a good selection. I wouldn't say they're the best but they're edible. I personally didn't eat their meat, my family said that it was tough. I find the quality around the same as before, which is mediocre. Vegan options here were very little, I think the selection was only noodles, fried rice, beans and broccoli. If you're vegetarian, your options grow a bit. They're getting really good at restocking food before it gets too low. I never saw an empty or near empty food station while I was there. The cleanliness of the establishment was ok. It was kind of muddy due to the snow and the bathrooms are sort-of maintained. It wasn't the cleanest but it was bearable. The utensils and plates were kind of dirty but a good wipe-down should do the trick. Overall, I probably wouldn't go back here by myself especially if I was paying, but if my friends or family invited me out, I wouldn't be opposed.

Sister Sarah and I had supper at the Mandarin. It's been a lot of years since I've been (great idea, Sis!). There's a lot of choice ... over 150 dishes ... and not just Chinese food. Sister Sarah started off with shrimp, crab and lobster au gratin (that was a big hit). I'm not a fan of seafood. Everything I had was good and yes, I was FULL! The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Koi at the entrance.

Trust me on that. So I'm sitting waiting for my food and all I hear is people in the kitchen yelling at each other. Crazily. No class at all. I get my food. No words at all just pass me the bag. So I'm like I'll have a coke like always. She's like oh you have to pay. I'm like doesn't it come with it? No. Apparently the lunch special is 12 to 4. You have to pay. I didn't t say anything because like I geeve but Im thinking are you kidding me? It's now 1150. You want me to wait to twelve lunch to order? I guess I ordered breakfast? I've eaten here twenty times in two months and you want me to beg for a coke? Pathetic technicality. The food was fine but nothing special but with the pathetic service I will not come here often again. I mean I will come back but I'd rather spend my money with people with class, even a little bit of such because these people have none, none at all. My god. Gbcf. Actually can't wait to come back see the old chick tell her the story and see how she acts. I'm sure she'll offer me an a extra coke but I won't take it. This country is full of takers but I'm a giver, and I don't geeve anymore. This city is becoming a total, disgrace. For a reason. People. F people.

We came here an hour or so before closing and they were still serving their Peking duck deal, definately look through the menu for the $98 duck set (enough for four people). We were specifically here for the duck and the service was fast and great. We ordered other items to enjoy as well and the portions were large, a fried rice, a veggie mushroom dish, and a pork belly dish. The duck took some time to prepare so we enjoyed the other dishes. The tableside duck cutting was very impressive and worth the trip for anyone who has never had Peking duck. They have a floor manager explain each of the steps and also how best to enjoy the duck. You also get the duck bones, etc. to take home when you are done. It makes for great duck stock. They serve 24 pancakes for this combo and that was filling. It is recommended to have a tea, the chrysanthemum is a great choice to help cut the fatiness from the duck skin. Tea is an extra $5 but not too much and you can ask for refills. For the overall price and amount of food and food quality, it's pretty good and compatible with eating out at most places nowadays. Highly recommended and much closer than the Markham location. Will be bringing other friends and family in future to enjoy.
