Prices are outrageous and if you don't pick up right when they call you they sell your tools

I have an older camper and decided to remodel. I decided to purchase Bali vertical blinds for 13…read morewindows. I was excited to get the project started and contacted Lowes in Bedford, New Hampshire. I spoke to Alyssa Antoniak. She was a lovely young lady. I made arrangements to have a representative come to the camper to measure each window. His name was Mark. He came and measured and I picked out my blinds. I chose Bali Lamplight, an elegant look. I was so excited. The cost was $2,200. Alyssa placed my order and emailed a copy of the invoice to me. I noticed there was a charge of $275 for existing hardware removal. I personally took all hardware and screws out of each window. I called Alyssa to tell her all existing hardware was removed and to please credit my account. She was insistent that the charge was not for existing hardware removal despite it being a separate line item on the invoice indicating it was for hardware removal. Her advice was to go to Lowes to further discuss. My Dad was a Naval veteran. He unfortunately passed away in October after a courageous battle with cancer. I live upstairs from my parents. My Mom suggested I use his veterans benefit to save some money. Alyssa attempted to use it, but it was not recognized. Come to find out days later Lowes was experiencing technical difficulty. Instead of trying to rectify the problem, Alyssa told me to go to Lowes to discuss as there wasn't anything she could do. I started vacation on June 29th. I spent nine days at my camper. I came home on July 8th to find the vertical blinds were delivered to my home address in Massachusetts. I was beside myself with anger. It was 7 p.m. I called Alyssa and left a voicemail for her to call me immediately. I was very upset. I went through my email messages to see if she or Lowes emailed me with any updates. There were no messages. I sent Alyssa an email expressing my disappointment and frustration with my whole experience. I later found out my next door neighbor (female) carried all the blinds from the front of the house to the back of the house (down 10 steps each time) for fear they would get stolen. Chances are they would have if left put in the front. The next day I still hadn't heard from Alyssa so I sent another email with no response. The day after that I received an email from Cory Hill. Due to Cory's snarky response, I decided to take my business elsewhere and told him to arrange for the blinds to be picked up for return and provide me with a refund. He replied and indicated I would have to return them myself. I found that totally unacceptable. At that point I stopped communicating with him and contacted the Better Business Bureau for resolution. The blinds are being picked up tomorrow. I am disappointed I have to start this project over again, but I absolutely will not give Lowes my hard earned money after dealing with people who lack good customer service etiquette and snarky responses. I work in customer service. If I ever responded in this manner, I would be fired for sure. I will never step foot in Lowes ever again.

I receive emails on specials all the time. I went into the Manchester store to buy some items on special from this week's special. I presented my member card and was told that they don't accept the cards anymore and that they only look up phone numbers now. Their records indicated I no longer am a member. The clerk called the manager over. The manager was rude and condescending and literally accused me of forging an expiration date on a expired card and refused to honor my membership. His exact words were "yeah, I've got a sharpie too". Wow, this was the manager. How rude? I've made a lot of purchases from Harbor Freight over the last 10 years. I called their National customer service line to complain and request a refund of my membership. They had no problem looking up my membership and said it wasn't due for renewal until late next month. I'm waiting for a call from the Manchester district manager for an apology or a refund of my membership fee

Seems to be more here then any other store in area. Tools are budget friendly but not all tools here are a bargain. Reading the reviews on their website. You'll weed out the items to avoid as we'll as the items that are worth it. 20 percent coupons can be found online pretty much all the time and with free items like a tape measure, multimeter, tarp upon other items. Why not visit! I will be visiting here weekly for sure. Lots of staff inside willing to help me which is great. As some places you go and it's hard to find anyone even working I would give this store a 5 star. Great asset to Manchester.
