He was very rude over the phone. He actually laughed at me when I asked to repeat the charges because I wasn't grasping how he charged. Not professional at all. Don't waist your time!!! read more

My dryer broke (well actually it was making noise, I tried to fix it and then it definitely *became* broken ). I found John B on yelp and gave him a call. He called me back within 30 minuets. He helped me diagnose the problem (with no judgement for my DIY efforts!). He squeezed me in later that day since he was in the area. He showed up (with the online appointment system it gives you a heads up when they are coming, how nice!!), was friendly, helpful and fixed the dryer in under 20 minutes. He gave me a very reasonable price (150 since there were no parts needed and quick job). I would highly recommend giving him a call (instead of watching dozens of youtube videos and getting frustrated!) for all your dryer repair needs! read more

John made it out for next day service. He showed up on and texted me when he was on his way. He is honest. Did not try to add extra problems or extra money. He found a sock in the washer pump, pulled it out, tested the machine. No BS. Very clean work area. Nice job! I will use him again for all my appliances. Thank you John! read more

Super trustable. I thought I had a dryer problem, but after describing it, John said it was more likely a clogged vent. Showing more concern for me than for himself, he referred me to a vent cleaning specialist. Rather than charging me for a probably unneeded repair, he gave me free advice! I will certainly trust him if I need work in the future. read more

John Laundry did a great job diagnosing and fixing a tricky problem with my dishwasher. He arrived on time, was very professional, gave me a fair price, and cleaned up the area when he was done. I will definitely use John again in the future. read more

John does more than laundry repair! Super easy to schedule an appointment with John. Great phone and text communication. Arrived on time and took care of my repair as requested. We talked through a gasket leak but he didn't pressure or strongly recommend I pay to fix it given the age of my machine (and the benefit of my dirt basement floor). I will happily recommend John to anyone. read more

Had John come over to fix our washing machine. we were split between fixing or buying new. We didn't want to spend money if it could not be fixed but John assured me that it would be either $230 or $250 to repair as compared to $650 for a new one. So John sent me a text this morning confirming the address and a second text when he was on his way. He was very knowledgeable and after asking a few questions got right to work. He told me it was not what he thought it would be but it was his second guess. He was here maybe 45 minutes and $250 later we had a working washing machine. I was very happy with John and his service. read more

Excellent service. Great price. Fast and reliable. Cool guy too. Same day service. Everyone else was 2 weeks out or needed $200 to just show up in a couple days. read more

He came and fixed my dryer in under an hour. Nice guy. Totally satisfied. Just text him if you've got a problem.

Asked John to come take a look at our dryer that wasn't heating. The unit would turn on but just no heat. We advised him that we were smelling something electrical in the laundry room but didn't have the smell inside the dryer itself. He was on time and professional. He took a look at the outside of the dryer and checked a couple things on his phone. Then without opening the dryer itself or removing any panels, he gave us an estimate for replacement parts which would be about the same as a new unit. Paid his fee for diagnosing the problem. So once the new unit arrived. I installed it myself and had the exact same problem with the new unit. New unit would turn on but no heat. Upon further inspection, I noticed that the wall outlet itself was shorted and not working properly. That was the smell from before. Once I replaced the outlet. The new dryer worked perfectly! I wish John would've noticed this instead of guessing and especially when not even opening up the unit or pulling the unit out from the wall. He guessed what was wrong without even really diagnosing the unit or what the real problem was. Now I'm pretty sure our old unit was working just fine and that changing a $10 wall outlet would've solved our problem instead of buying a new dryer. Now I'm out over $900 for a new dryer and his fee. read more

Prompt service, diagnosed issue with dryer quickly, and repair went smoothly. Affordable, reliable and friendly! Highly recommend.

Clothes dryer wasn't drying the clothes so I found John on yelp. Very easy to schedule an appointment. He asked me to send him the serial number of the dryer (assuming he wanted to make sure he had the right parts). He was on time for the appointment (a bit early actually but this was fine), and promptly fixed the dryer. Overall professional, pleasant and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend him. read more

We had an issue with our dryer and he came the next day. Preciously, we tried working with another company (big and reputable) and our experience with those guys was horrible. Out of frustration, I googled, John came up, and I gave him a call. He came out *the next day*, was very communicative, fixed the issue, charged a totally reasonable price, and was super pleasant to work with. I'm so happy we found him. Highly recommend! read more

Very disappointed that the job wasn't completed. John "fixed" my dishwasher, but advised I'd have to have someone else come out because after "fixing" it, he noticed that the attached valve to the garbage disposal didn't have the punch out removed, so rather than removing it and punching it out to complete the service, I was advised to call someone to do it. Basically paid to have the equipment "fixed" which still does not work and now have to pay someone to come out and complete the work and hope the repair, I actually paid for, WILL work. Not clear on why he couldn't complete the job himself, seems he had somewhere else to be, but seemed annoyed with my inquires as to why he couldn't complete it and focused instead on explaining how easy it would be, getting paid and leaving. Pretty unprofessional, $250 bucks later and still no working dishwasher is pretty disappointing, and now the added expense and time, to find someone else to come out to remove and pop out the hole punch from the disposer where the washer valve connects. Would've gladly paid a little more to just have the job completed, and a working piece of equipment. read more

This was our first experience with John, he repaired a problem with our freezer. He was able to supply same day service. He is knowledgeable and provides excellent service at a reasonable price. Don't use this guy! Very condescending and will not help you if you have worked on the unit in anyway? What kind of repair service is that??? read more

Similar excellent experience to others who have commented. Door on washer was not locking properly. John came out the same day after I called the office. He asked for model and serial number in advance to make sure he had correct parts since the issue was pretty obvious. He came at the time he said he would and the repair was done very quickly. We would recommend John to others and would use him in the future. K. T. read more

I have used John for both my dishwasher and stove repairs. Both times John was on time, diagnosed the problem right away, parts arrived very quickly, and the repairs were done efficiently. John is very professional, trustworthy, and helpful. John's prices are very reasonable and he saved us a lot of money from having to buy new appliances. I will use John for all my appliance repair needs! read more

Incredibly unprofessional. When I asked about the warranty, there was nothing that could be produced in writing. Meanwhile, John pressured me to sign the work order while being unable to adequately address my question about the warranty and information I would receive as a customer. Ultimately, he refused to proceed with the work and left abruptly after reassembling the dryer. read more

Our wash machine was not working. He responded right away. Came next day. Very knowledgeable and honest. He explained how it was not wash machine itself but the plumbing. Definitely will use him again read more

Friendly and professional. Dedicated and effective. Fixed the oven on the first trip. I would recommend to my friends in a heart beat.
