    Great customer service. A man I think named Cameron(?) helped me near plumbing area. He was very friendly and answered all my questions.

I had spent 5-6 hours dealing with New Leaf, the alleged warranty company, then another few hours sending notes to Barons through their website with no replies. Finally got the above note after posting a negative review, HMM... Was just going to drop it but figured since I am a huge fan of buying local and from the smaller guys especially in NH I would may a few suggestions to help Dave at Barons Find a new warranty company or take responsibility for the warranty as your sales people state during the sales process " Barons takes care of all warranty issues themselves, we stand behind our products". Whomever is monitoring customer requests through your website needs to be retrained or replaced, maybe the system does too. As for my situation after wasting my time trying to work this through Barons and New leaf I gave up and bought the part from Bosh and will fix it myself when it arrives. My time spent is worth much more than the policy cost and probably as much as I paid for the high end dishwasher. Interestingly my washing machine went during this debacle with Barons and New leaf. Normally that would be a guaranteed sale for Barons but I went to Home depot instead. Last item, I noticed when doing this post several negative reviews here, all are related to service, maybe something you should consider looking into personally

The first sign that this was going to be different was upon entering. The front desk attendant was engaged in an animated conversation with a fellow worker. Obviously too busy to acknowledge customers. I came over looking at the possibility of purchasing a small sound system for our nonprofit's meetings. I stepped into the sound system area. An employee was looking into infinity and an open Sudoku game on his smartphone. I asked where I could find such sound systems and he seemed to be bothered by my intrusion into his Sudoku. He pointed towards the WiFi section. Not a peep. I thought about their training process at Best Buy and how it could be improved. I then stepped in the WiFi and boom box area. An employee was idling by but when she saw me, she stepped away quickly. The cash register area had three employees engaged in conversation. Not one looking at the floor or customers. I ambled about looking at possibly finding a small sound system. Didn't see any values for what I needed. I left the store after 20 minutes. Not one person approached me. I figure they're not interested in their jobs or their company. Don't think I'll ever be here again.

One shop had closed but recommended Ed's Appliance Service, where the technician had over 40 years experience. He was able to visit the next day. The GE service shop said I would have to wait about 4 days. In the meantime, I was able to move the food to other people's freezers. Ed said the compressor was probably starting to fail due to age and it would be too expensive to repair. It also looked like there might be ice blockage. He told me to unplug it and leave it open for a few days. After I powered it back up and put some cups of water on each shelf, in a little over a day every cup was frozen. So can start using it again. Yay! In the meantime I purchased a new unit, which took a a bit of research and phone calling. It seemed that many people freaked out when the Wuhan Virus hit and bought up all the refrigerators and freezers. They were probably afraid of shopping and bought new units so they could maybe hoard food and limit their trips to the stores. None of the big box stores had anything in stock. The sales rep. at Baron's Appliances in Concord listed the Frigidaire unit I wanted, but he said the manufacturers were quoting end of August delivery dates! That was the only store that offered to help me out. So here is hoping my old freezer holds out until then.

    I did a google search on appliance repair in the Manchester area and Glenn's Appliance was in the…read moresearch. I have an LG washer and he told me on the phone that they do not service LG. First suggestion, please list certain brands on your repair page that you do not fix. It would have saved both of us time. So, I ask for a recommendation for a business in the area who repairs LG. (As a side note, I operate a small mom & pop operation and if I cannot help a customer, I will tell them where they can find what they need. I find that this helpfulness brings them back to me.) The guy on the phone tells me that "No one does. LG's are very tough to work on and their parts are hard to find." It turns out that that was an outright lie. I called "Mr. Appliance" next. They informed me that they could help. They even emailed me a confirmation of the appointment and included a photo of their technician so that I would know beforehand who would be in my home. They sent a guy out to my house, he listened to my machine and then diagnosed it and had it fixed in just about 20 minutes. They accepted cash/checks/credit cards right on the spot. They then proceeded to email me a receipt and one day later, another email to thank me again and check on how the washing machine was. Because in this on particular instance Glen's chose not to help in any capacity, I would never personally purchase anything from them and I will continue to let others know how unprofessional that business is. I said it wasn't an emergency so he offered to come the day after. But we all know how stressful it is to have a broken appliance, and he honestly managed to calm me down and put me in good spirits again with his friendly manner. I had confidence and trust in him before he even got here. But still... you never know what can happen, right? He called, as he said, before getting here, and his prices were totally upfront (and on his website). He was just delightful to have here, and I found everything about his service to be beyond professional, and WAY more than reasonably priced. He wouldn't have even charged extra for coming on a holiday! My dryer, through no fault of his, was beyond repair, and he was entirely up front about that. There was not one moment where he tried to woo me into paying for a new motherboard or such nonsense. Truly, Anthony is one of the few genuine, wonderful, warm souls out there. I adored him and his service right from the get go. While I hope I don't have to call him again for a repair (!), he is the only person I would call from now on. There are simply not enough nice things to say about Appliance Madness.
