Great taco spot next to a decent gas station. Great selection of tacos and delicious agua frescas. Salsas could use a little help.

This place is an absolute gem and needs more love! My friends and I came here early on a busy Saturday AM and there was already a line around 10 AM. We ordered everything from the bistec, pastor, carne asada, trosito verde, beef fajita and the green smoothie. Now everything here is made fresh and seasoned well. I recommend getting the corn tortillas. I loved the bistec, pastor and the carne asade because the seasoning was on point and the meats were very tender. The price you pay is very reasonable. They pack plenty of meat in each savory taco. The sour cream and green sauce added some great flavor. If you love spices my friends raved about the red sauce. This is a great place to come and enjoy some delicious tacos. Its family run and the staff is very friendly. They have plenty of patio seating outside to enjoy your meal. This taco truck is AWESOME. It's so hard to find a proper place where you can get the real experience and I'm super happy with what I found at Mami's. Me and a friend came up for some breakfast and had heard nothing but good things about them. I got the Chorizo, Egg, and Cheese taco, the Carne Asada and Avocado taco, and the bean and cheese taco. All on a flour tortilla (I know, I'm cheating - I'm just not a huge fan of corn, sue me) The Chorizo and Carne Asada were FIRE. Really juicy and you can taste all of the seasoning on it. The bean one was good, but definitely wasn't as filling as the other one. The employees of this family owned truck were so nice and enjoyable, definitely would love to see them again! 5 stars, easy. read more

Overall, this place is a good spot; tacos are ok, service is very polite and attentive. The only thing keeping me from giving it five starts is the "sometime-y" of the food. While everyone there is wonderful and I will continue going and supporting them as often as possible, sometimes the food is great (well prepared, hot and perfect), and sometimes, not so much (tortillas are burnt, eggs are cold, no real flavor). All that being said, I ABSOLUTELY encourage anyone in the 'hood to continue to support them, tell others about them and make sure they are a long time staple of the 'hood! Again, the folks working there are super polite and friendly and make mornings that much better - we love seeing them and supporting them. I just want folks to be prepared that while the food isn't always perfect or on point, it's worth it to keep giving them a chance because they ARE going to win you over. :) read more

I have been going for about 3 years and recommend the verde and roja salsas, they're so good, and I get the gringa al pastor tacos! My expectations were high given all the five star reviews. There was a line for the radio truck on a rainy day so that days something. Help was super friendly and helpful with a smile, recommendations and patience. I finally ordered the burrito with everything and Carne Guisada. It arrived and my first bite impression was a lot of refried beans and lettuce. Unfortunately that impression was most of the reality for each bite following. There were occasional bites of avocado and meat but very little sour cream and not a lot of meat in the burrito. It was filling but so much beans I would expected it to be. i did unexpectedly order a strawberry smoothie thar was a part of the menu I was not thinking of when I went to the truck and the smoothie was really yummy! read more

I love Miami's tacos. They never disappoint when I'm looking for no frills, stuffed tacos. The tortillas are homemade (which is an absolute must), and they are filled to the brim. Their breakfast tacos run you about $1.75 which is a great deal. They have some of the best Migas, and the salsa is fresh and delicious. Wow, this was a wonderful taco experience. That's a funny word, experience. As in, I had a UFO/alien/bigfoot "experience". Or, I had a taco "experience". This was one of the best taco experiences I've ever had! Those handmade corn tortillas... yummm.... just as good as you can get. It's true! Probably the best tortilla for a taco I've ever had, EVER. I ordered a carne guisada (beef stew), a beef fajita, and a choritzo with egg (Mexican sausage con huevo ;-) All were just excellent. Yes-- that green sauce is wonderful. Not too hot, but with enough heat. Not my all time favorite green sauce, but close. I have one little tiny complaint. Some might question my manliness over this, but here goes: I would like more vegetables in my taco. There were a few onion and cilantro pieces in the beef fajita taco, but that was it. Now the Ron Swanson-types have stopped reading, taking their turkey legs wrapped in bacon with them as their faces redden in anger and frustration. Sorry guys-- I love meat and potatoes as much as you do, I just want some veggies to go with them! This small complaint aside, these were easily some of the best tacos I've ever had, and at a reasonable price. Recommended!
