Very good food fast and great customer service always very kind to you and will be quick with your order

    Raw, cold bacon.

Just got a breakfast burrito from here with completely raw bacon on it. The flour tortilla was awful, was my first thought, then I chewed on what I thought was an onion, but realized it was raw, cold bacon. Immediately spat it out. Never again. That's terrifying.

This taco truck is in my neighborhood and I have been multiple times now. They have phenomenal tacos, quesadillas and tortas and open til 3 which is nice. The best meat is their pastor imo. My only real critique would be to have a spicier salsa picante but no doubt a great place to have in the Austin food truck scene.

Every time I have been here the quality has not slipped once! All the tacos I've had were delicious. Salsas hit the spot for each different heat level! Can't wait to try the menudo!! The ladies that run the truck are always quick and nice!

Awesome, authentic Mexican joint! We are visiting Austin for three days and stopped here already three times! Such a cool, authentic spot! And that horachta! Good prices, fresh ingredients, and good vibes. Open outdoor seating. Open til 3am and popping! Excellent spot.

A sorry excuse for a bean and cheese burrito

Have been here many times with mixed results. I think this was the final straw for us. The first insult is that if you order a bean and cheese burrito, they still charge it as a normal meat burrito... so we paid $10 for this tiny bean and cheese burrito. On top of that, it was the worst burrito I've ever had in my life. Cold cheese with a sad skid mark of beans. Don't think I'll waste my time or money here again.

Tacos Las Amazonas is super tasty! I stopped in for late night and it took them some time to complete the order, but it was worth the wait! I opted for quesadillas and added chicken fajitas. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. One of the best quesadillas I've had in Austin! The quesadilla didn't come with rice or beans, but was relatively filling and cost ~$9. Overall: I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive food menu. Their breakfast menu is notably massive. I was highly satisfied with the food and will definitely be back to try out tacos and breakfast!

Chorizo, egg and cheese. Sausage, egg, and cheese.

This is Tacos Las Amazonas on South Congress. Start with this. Really nice people working here. Covered area to eat. This is the way flour tortillas should be done. Not too thick. Crisped up a bit right before plating. Really, really good. Let me chime in here early...the yellow salsa (not the tomatillo one) is pretty spicy. Beware. I did the chorizo and egg and bacon and egg, as usual. I hate the cheese on these, so asked them not to do it. Really good. Both. The bacon was more substantial than most. Lots of eggs in both. I came her previously and the crappy cheese ruined the tacos. Really KEY to omit the cheese.

Came to this truck because an old friend recommended it to me a while back. Parking is limited as it's in a gas station parking lot but I went early enough that it wasn't an issue for me. I ordered 4 pastor tacos. I was looking for a full order of tacos but I was told they were sold individually. Service was quick and requested my meal to go. I opened up my bag and unwrapped my tacos. The meal wasn't appealing to the eye but I told myself it's not always pretty! I opened up the green and red salsa. Neither were really spicy so I was a little disappointed. Now... the tacos. Beyond speechless. These are some of the most flavorful pastor tacos I have EVER had in the Austin area. I mean PACKED with flavor. It made up for the salsas lacking in taste I'm excited to come back and try a different meat because if Pastor was this good the rest have to be just as good.

Fast and friendly service. I need to come back and try the spinach egg and cheese tacos. I'll be back again. Hidden gem right off 35

I have frequented this spot a few times and came back again late night for some last night eats. If you are looking for Mexican Street Tacos, this is your place. For those who you don't know what traditional Mexican street tacos are, here's your lesson. They are typically served on corn tortillas and are stuffed with meat. Traditional toppings include onions, cilantro, and salsa. There is no lettuce, tomatoes, or cheese in traditional street tacos. Those toppings have been added so that they more closely resemble the tacos that most Americans are now familiar with. The price point for these tacos are a little above other restaurants and taco trucks that serve the same caliber of taco. Price point aside, these tacos are flavorful and are sure to meet the quality standards of even the choosiest palates.

One of a few spots that opens till 1am/2am in south Austin . We came here after bouldering and it was pretty late. The cashier was very nice in explaining to us what each taco was and how you pronounce them correctly. Super friendly. I ordered 1 taco and tortas while my friends order lots more taco. The amount of food that came with tortas was a lot. I couldn't finish the tortas. Good amount of food and good tasting too. Would come back after bouldering.

Like your girl can eat tacos but I had never been one to be like let's go get some cause I am craving them. But man cuantos tacos can definitely get me saying I want and crave them! I thought prices were pretty fair at 2.75 a piece. After much researchon what to eat in Austin this is one of the spots that I saved as a bookmark. While I was in Austin, a foodie friend on Instagram shared with me her list of recommendations since she just moved to Austin not too long ago. I knew that Ihad to stop by Cuantos Tacos, I mean how often do you see a Michelin BibGourmand taco truck. We came here for dinner but it was cold, sprinkling, anddark out. Tables they had were wet from the sprinkle.  My family only triedthe suadero taco ($2.75 per taco) but OMG it was the best thing we ate duringour trip in Austin. It was super memorable, the meat was soft and the salsaadded the perfect kick to it. It's been a month, my husband and I are still daydreamingabout these tacos.  Tacos are madepretty fast, we had to order tacos 3x since they were so good, we kept wantingmore. Wait time was super reasonable. Staff are nice and if I lived closer Ican see myself coming here every taco Tuesday! This definitely is a must go tospot if you like tacos.   Tips: *Small parking lot *Outdoor seating only *Credit card accepted *Porta Potty in theback (night time it is pretty dark and hard to see) *They cater. *You can also orderonline for pick up. Tips: Credit card and cash accepted. Outdoor seating option only. Restroom is port a potties. Located in an area with other food trucks.

Making them costra style to add cheese for 50c is a nice touch too. The picnic seating kinda leaves a lot to be desired, my table was very broken. Staff is friendly and helpful in the truck!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
