I love visiting mamas cold brew at the uptown farmers market. The flavors are great! However, the staff get very rude if you don't tip. It has happened to me the last two times where I pay $8 for an average sized coffee (about a medium size from Dunkin) and select no tip. There is a visible change in attitude and even eye rolls. Nothing better than walking around the farmers market with a nice cold brew coffee - especially as it is heating up here in the valley! I hadn't realized how long they have been in business, but it has been years! They make their own creamers and may I suggest the Churro flavor? I am usually a Salted Caramel girl, but I find that one lacking in flavor. The Churro is full of nice warm spices that go well with the cold brew. Don't get me wrong, the service was great, and the barista was nice, but the coffee was terrible. I went back and asked if she could add more creamer, hoping that would fix it, and she was really nice about it and told me she would re-make the coffee if I didn't like it, but I felt bad because there was a big line. Here are my problems with this booth: for one, the equipment the barista was using looked gross. It looked dirty and borderline falling apart. also, the sign in the back had marks all over it...like does it ever get cleaned? The employees at the Gilbert Farmer's market are always so personable and friendly! Went to Uptown and was met with bad attitudes for no reason. They didn't know the price of the coffee I was buying and spoke to each other more than me. Spent $14 on 2 coffees for them to taste too strong like cigarettes! So disappointing. read more

Very disappointing. After all the hype on IG, I had expected this coffee to be a lot better. This is my 3rd visit to the Gilbert Farmers Market to MCB, & all 3 times have been the same. Ohhh my goodness, I am drinking Mama's Cold Brew as I type and am literally in heaven! I picked up a jar (Yes, a mason jar! Their packaging is so cute.) at the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market last weekend. The spices infused in the coffee are to die for, it was a surprise! I was expecting typical black cold brew but Mama's is different, and so addicting! I added a tiny drop of natural sweetener and whole milk and could literally drink it all day. We purchased one of the Mother's Day Boxes (50+ dollars Spent). The instructions given said to arrive after 11:00am to pick up the box. We arrived at 11:15am and walked in circles for 30 minutes trying to find their stand. They had completely packed up and left. After contacting them, they ignored the message requesting a refund even after reading it and still have not issued our money back. Extremely disappointed and completely scammed. They partner with many local Valley restaurants and farmers markets to sell their products and drinks. Where do I start. I got a single serve at the last farmers market I was at and I was instantly addicted. The coffee is delicious- not bitter like some cold brew. I recently sought this out based on another Yelpers review and I can say my Starbucks addiction has totally been shifted! I prefer my coffee cold, and a Iced Frappuccino has always been my go to. I picked up a couple of jars Of Mama's Cold Brew at Chestnut on Camelback and a bottle of the vanilla creamer. It has been my morning pick me up for the last week, I mix it up quick in the morning in a blender cup as I am running out the door. Even straight out of the jar it tastes great, which is not the case with some other cold brews I've tried that are really bitter. Great tasting coffee! read more

Just spent $13 on a quart of coffee because I asked for a "splash" of cream. If I ordered a black, it would have been $10. When I questioned it, the girl told me that they haven't updated their sign yet and she apologizes but that splash of cream is an extra $3. This coffee is good. It's not great.
