Went to the taste of north west today and sampled some of this deliciousness! Welcomed to his food booth with awesome hospitality. Gave samples as I have never tried it before. We were walking alongside Alki Beach and stumbled upon this caramel cake pop up. The owner was drizzling his cakes with caramel and said that the cakes are made fresh daily. We sampled a piece and bought a cake for the road. The owner said that he learned his recipe from his late mother, which I thought was a sweet tribute to her. I'm happy to be able to support a small business from a kind owner eating a cake that is very delicious, moist, and unique. I would definitely purchase more if I lived in Seattle. Looks like you can order these cakes via DoorDash and Uber eats as well as their website for delivery or pickup in the Seattle area. Give these cakes a try and you don't be disappointed!

Jonathan was very friendly and welcoming. He was very patient in helping us figure out exactly what we wanted. His desserts were so delicious. 10/10 will come here again. And if you see him, I'd recommend anyone to try it! 10/10 recommend!!! You won't regret it!

Mama Row's Caramel is deliciously indulgent. This is a dessert that should be eaten slowly but once you start you cannot stop yourself from having more. Such a rich creamy sauce made with mama's touch. We enjoyed working with Jonathan who coordinated catering with us. He was responsive, generous and flexible. Truly a delight! We enjoyed hearing his story and how Mama Row's Caramel became the entity it is today. We fed nearly 200 people, and all savored every bite. We were at Gobble Up NW market, and stopped by this booth. I don't have a big sweet tooth, but my bf does. We were given samples, and my bf was hooked. He had to have more. We got the caramel cake and the caramel brownie. They were delicious. It looks like it'd be very sweet, but surprisingly, it's not too sweet at all. I finally got to try Mama Row's at the farmers market yesterday, and wow -- it was incredible! The caramel was perfectly rich and buttery, and the cake was so moist and flavorful it honestly blew me away. Bought extra to share with friends and everyone loved it! A Mama Row's fan brought a selection of their desserts to a meeting I attended. Wow...just wow. They were all really good but the caramel sauce was my favorite. When I tasted it there was something about it that seemed familiar. My mom never made caramel sauce but something about this sauce felt like home. Great stuff! read more

Tried their cakes and caramel at the Taste Northwest Festival and it was OFF THE CHARTSS I love caramel in general, but theirs isn't too sweet so I was able to indulge in the buttery smooth taste without feeling my teeth decay in real-time. I wish I had bought more when I was there! read more

I came to Seattle to celebrate my birthday! I ordered a caramel cake as part of my celebration. Jonathan was amazing and the cake was divine!! He even brought me flowers, a card, and balloon!! The flowers were irises in my favorite color purple!! That was so thoughtful. He delivered all of this to my hotel!! It was such a pleasure doing business with this young man!! I just tried the cakes and brownies at the Shoreline Farmers Market- both were so delicious!! They were perfectly buttery and had just the right amount of sweetness and moistness. Established in 2023.

Our History Mama Row’s Caramel started as a healing project in founder Jonathan Hudson’s kitchen, inspired by his late mother “Mama Row,” who passed away in 2018. She was a teacher, a nurturer, and the one who taught the family that love is something you do. Jonathan turned that lesson into a mission: to spread comfort and connection through small-batch caramel and desserts. What began with one pot of caramel sauce has grown into a full dessert line—brownies, cakes, and our signature “It’s Da Sauce” caramel—that you can now find across Seattle and beyond. We now operate out of our Lake City kitchen, where we keep dedicated production and pickup hours so our customers can get their sweets fresh. Plus, you can order anytime on TikTok Shop for nationwide shipping or through DoorDash for local delivery—because we believe caramel should be just a click away when you need a little joy.

Meet the Manager – Jonathan Hudson What’s up, I’m Jonathan — founder, caramel stirrer, and chief dessert dreamer here at Mama Row’s Caramel. I started this company in 2023 to honor my mom, “Mama Row,” who taught me that love, hard work, and showing up for people will change your life. I’m in the kitchen every week making sure our caramel, cakes, and brownies hit the way they’re supposed to. When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m pulling up at farmers markets, talking to customers, and cooking up new ways to get our caramel in your hands. And hey — catch me live on TikTok Thursdays–Saturdays. I’ll be in there pouring caramel, talking shop, and dropping deals you can only get during the live. Stop by the chat and say what’s up — I’ll shout you out and probably convince you to grab a jar or two. The wooden wick produces a nice light flicker and slight crackle. The clean wax burns evenly. The recycled glass container is easy to clean and re-purpose after the candle is done. I use the clean and empty glass for all kinds of things - pens and pencils, herb containers, catchalls, tablescape decorations, and even elevated gifts for others. Whether we are talking about marketplace candles, or the newer perfume lines, the scents are sophisticated and delicious. Some of my favorite S&T products are the holiday lines, like the Fall 2023 skeleton candles in pumpkin chai, the Holiday/Christmas greenery scents (this year with a G&T inspired offering!), and the just released winter perfume candle called après ski. I have gotten so many compliments on my S&T La Mia Muse silk scarf and furoshiki wraps, and I cannot wait for colder temps, so that I can slip in to the luxurious unisex après ski holiday sweatshirt.
