They're known for their "Build the Wall" cookies... why bring politics into baked goods? Aren't desserts supposed to be joyful and inviting? That alone immediately set the tone. It didn't help that when someone politely raised a concern in previous reviews, the bakery replied with, "cry about it." How warm and welcoming. Maybe less time on attitude and more time on ingredient and texture testing--because now onto the actual cookies. Dry. Like, my teeth almost broke dry. They crumble the second you touch them, stick to your teeth, and somehow the bakery thinks that's funny. Spoiler: it's not. There were also flies in the display, which suddenly explained why the shop is usually empty whenever I walk by. If we're focusing on the baked goods alone, there's nothing amusing here. Between the dismissive attitude and the painfully dry cookies, this is not a place I'd recommend. You're better off visiting Snapdoodle next door for cute trinkets, or heading to Red Twig Café instead for genuinely great pastries.
