Left Field's second location in Liberty Village is a very welcome improvement to their original…read morelocation in Leslieville, which I've been a patron of since 2013 when they opened. The new location has two levels, a beautiful open concept floor plan and a large outdoor patio. We walked in on Saturday (World Series Game 2) and were seated immediately. They had another weekly event going on but that didn't detract from speed and service. The beers are fantastic, with some staples still on the menu from 2013! The Eephus, Wrigley, and Greenwood are original and exactly as I remember, but Ice Cold Beer, Tarps Off, and Oppo were delicious too! Get a flight, take in the community spirit and enjoy some baseball themed beers! Go Blue Jays

Gord, Trish and I had supper this evening at Left Field Brewery in Liberty Village…read more Trish is vegan and appreciated the amount of vegan options. She had a Vegan Nashville Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich (Plant-based fried chicken tossed in our spicy Nashville dry rub topped with shredded lettuce, dill pickles and vegan mayo on a vegan brioche bun) and sweet potato fries. Gord had a Chicken Caesar Wrap (Grilled chicken breast tossed with romaine, parmesan, caesar dressing, wrapped in a 12" flour tortilla). I ordered like a 12-year-old and had a Stadium Dog (Nathan's Famous 7" flame-grilled all beef hot dog with ketchup, mustard, relish and a dill pickle spears) and Cinnamon Sugar Donuts (Four fried-to-order donuts tossed in cinnamon sugar, served with whipped salted caramel dip). All were good! I like their efficiency. There is a QR code on the table. When scanned, you can see the menu. You order via your phone and it magically arrives quickly. You can pay as you go or run a tab (without having to input your credit card number first).

Located in Maple Leaf Square, at the base of Union Station/ York/ Bremner…read more For all things Leafs and Raptors, this is the goto spot to catch the game and enjoy a few bites. There is no street parking but plenty of parking garages in the space. The staff are plenty friendly and courteous The place has an in house DJ and the atmosphere always going pre and post game as during the game the energy is electric. Tonight we were hosted by Rogers Sports (new owners of the Leafs, Raptors, Blue Jays, Argos and Marlies) There were many food stations ranging from Shanghai noodles with tofu beef or shrimp, chicken finger station with truffled fries, a carvery with roast beef and mashed potato's. There was also a nice flow of apps ranging from buffalo cauliflower bites, beef sliders, arancini and spring rolls The entire Leafs management with John Chayka and Matts Sundin answering questions in a fireside chat to give the update of the Leafs from the recent signings to the season opener and what to expect for the 2026/27 season

They have memorabilia of sport superstars displayed in glass showcases and they are really cool. Our waitress was nice and I loved that she surprised my sister with a birthday dessert after hearing us talking about it in a conversation. It is a super nice place and I would highly recommend visiting it when you are in Toronto you won't be disappointed.

We came late on a weekday night and were seated immediately by the friendly staff; you might want to make an online reservation otherwise. Food was all fantastic and step above traditional British fare. $21CAD/$15USD Caesar Salad is elevated with zesty housemade dressing, fresh deep green romaine, and enlightened with capers and bacon bits. Waitress kindly split the salad into two plates for us! $30CAD/$21.5USD Fish and Chips...A gigantic thick fillet of of whitefish covered in a thick, golden, crunchy beer batter. The fish was moist, flaky, and lovely. The house made tarter sauce was rich and fragrant! Chips were thick, hot, and crisp. $38CAD/$27USD Crispy Lake Trout...the pink fish fillet was pink, tender and moist, with a nice crispy skin for texture and terrific taste. Definitely visit if you're seeking a royal taste of Britian!

My mum loved it too. The rare beef sandwich with malted mayo was a flavour bomb, and the scotch egg, sausage roll and fish & chips were fantastic. Pimms cup really hit the spot on a warm day. And the table reminded me of my grandparent's kitchen, and so did the food.

FOOD: TRUFFLE FRIES…read more- perfectly made, shareable, and flavorful! BRUSSELS SPROUTS - not super oily and had the perfect crisp and flavor to it! one of the best brussel sprouts i've had CHICKEN SANDWICH - basic but filling and tasty MARGHERITA (v) - very basic and was okay. wasn't bad but also wasn't the best TRUFFLE SPAGHETTI WITH MEATBALLS - filling and flavorful! Overall loved the food Service: The sweetest, helpful, and conversational service! Appreciated the help and welcome from staff. Ambiance: Night vibes are pretty nice. It's dark and dimlit inside. It's not super fancy but also not super casual. The setting and atmosphere is very nice for a night out.

We ended up sitting at the bar since we were walk-ins. It is also a very low light restaurant, especially at night. so it might not be the best place for older adults or those who are visually impaired. Service was good, however, we were somewhat forgotten at times since we were tucked away in a dark corner. We ended up ordering the Truffle Fries, the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, the Korean Chicken, and the Vodka Pie. The truffle fries were crisp and plentiful. We added sausage to the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta, and it was delicious paired with the pizza. The Korean Chicken were bite sized and flavourful as well. However, The vodka Pie haunts me in my dreams. I think I crave this pizza about every week. The pizza at King Taps has one of the best crusts I've ever had, and the vodka sauce is to die for. It's sad to know that this pizza will rotate out, I'd definitely try it before it leaves! I will be back for the Vodka Pie, mark my words!
