They are partnered with a local pizzeria so you can get drinks, apps and food all while throwing in a killer venue. They reclaimed the old rainbow foods cold storage and knocked it out of the park. If I get a chance, its fun to go try some of the older variants and vintages of Darkness to see how they old up. It helps as well that Short or Tall does flights! I enjoyed five different pours of Darkness: Gimme S'More Darkness (2021): An Imperial Stout, Darkness, aged on Vanilla and Cinnamon aged in Bourbon Barrels reminiscent of a liquid s'more. Darkness (2016): An Imperial Stout aged for nearly ten years. A little thin bodied, which occurs over time, and a ton of sherry notes. Darkness (2025) Barrel-Aged: An Imperial Stout aged in Elijah Craig Bourbon Barrels and Creative Oak French Oak. The OG version of this year's BA Darkness. Chocolate Limoncello Darkness (2024): An Imperial Stout with Cacao and Lemon Puree hitting French Oak for a while as well. This is a weird one for sure. Vietnamese Coffee Darkness (2020): An Imperial Stout, Darkness, infused with Organic Robusta and Arabica Coffees from UP Coffee Roasters (local to MN), Vanilla Beans, and Coconut.
