The event coordinator, Casey, was weirdly aggressive and treated my band like absolute garbage. Never performing here again.

This bar has a great "small town feel" which I personally love. Everyone here knows everyone which is fun plus they have dart boards, shuffle board and pool. Unfortunately no foosball table (a personal favorite). Good beer selection. I didn't realize they have food which I never got a chance to look at. But overall a good local bar to come and have a chill night. I can't wait to come here for a winter Sunday funday and just hang out! While writing this review I just noticed they have life size Jenga and cornhole boards. You may be finding me here a lot! read more

I don't give 5 stars very often but I really liked this place. We were in Nebraska for a wedding and tend to seek out Irish pubs where ever we go and when heading back to the airport in Omaha with time to kill we found Maloneys. Good sized place pool table, dart boards and a I'm pretty sure a sand volleyball court in the back. The manager working the bar super friendly and has a great selection of Whiskey and was on top of empty glasses! Had a friendly vibe that makes you want to come back which we will and that's saying a lot because I don't really want to be in the Midwest. read more

First day we moved to Omaha and in need of good food and some local caring. Got more of both than I could have ever ask for! Ryan, bartender, answered my call and served us. He was welcoming and SUPER sweet telling us about local happenings at the bar and food and drinks. The food was exceptional. I travel all over the country and the food was unusual and very tasty. Update central: starting tonight Maloney's is not only serving food, but they have 402 BBQ in their kitchen! The menu so far is their simple sandwiches, brisket, pulled pork or turkey, and their famous BBQ Mac & Cheese (w bacon), but look for specials along the way. One of many people's disappointments with Maloney's in the recent past was because they discontinued their food service, but now they not only brought it back, but have teamed up with 402 to provide a more than decent bar food scene. Heck, I could eat their Mac & Cheese all night long... Also, I can't remember their tap selection the last time I reviewed Maloney's, but it has also improved. Tonight they not only had Infusion's IPA, but their Vanilla Bean Blonde. They still have a decent cooler selection, so even for a professed beer snob, Maloney's has an above average selection for you regular tavern. So if you have already tried them in the past, you need to check them out again, just for 402's Mac & Cheese, you will be disappointed no more! read more

Everytime I end up at Maloneys, I have a good time. They have booze, popcorn, trivia, karaoke and volleyball...what more can you ask for? We stopped in on a Saturday night and it was karaoke night. A bunch of regulars sang their hearts out and it was entertaining. My favorite part about Maloney's is finding a spot out back. They have a patio with nice tables and chairs to sit outside. Bartenders are friendly. Bring cash as they have a drink/amount limit in order to run your card. read more

I've been here a few times and it's an ok neighborhood bar. The crowd can vary quite a bit and that can greatly influence the atmosphere. The beer list is ok but not anything outstanding. read more

I went there a couple times and there was nothing out standing about the place. The last time I was there there was a blonde female tending bar who ignored me for over 20 minutes while I was waiting for a drink. I would not recommend going there to be honest because there is nothing fascinating about the place and the crowd varies from day today depending on what you're into. read more

Pretty chill place. Nice neighborhood feel, good drinks, clean, has keno, and plenty of space. No pretentious hipsters or lowlife dirrbags. Just nice working class folks. Also good volume - enough background music so you don't feel like it's a morgue, but quiet enough that you can have a conversation easily. Only gave 4 stars because there's no food. Excellent neighborhood bar. Lots of space inside, many tables, some booths and a good sized bar. Friendly staff and good drink specials. Pool table, jukebox, darts and shuffleboard for amusement. They have a sand volley ball court out back that is well kept. They also have a well kept and good sized patio area with a separate small bar (Jager shots and such). Plenty of parking and popcorn! I love bars with popcorn and theirs seems to have a little bit of a kick to it. A nice alternative close to Benson if you want to get off the strip. read more

Maloney's has been a great hangout bar for the last few years. If you like a great dive bar, easy on the dive, with better than average food it is your kind of place. The Reuben here is especially of note with homemade corned beef, it is bar food, but definitely a level up from most. Warning for Husker fans (I am), you might want to avoid on game days if the Hawkeye's are playing. read more

Was recommended to try this place by a friend---SO glad I did. Irish pub is the feel for sure. Service was fantastic---friendly, recommended things, and was prompt. Food--- Fries---ridiculously good and seasoned well. My burger was soooo tasty---sauce was awesome!!!! I really appreciate the the sauces, dressings, chicken tenders, and burgers made from scratch. My only comment would be for the menu----instead of putting throughout the menu that the items are scratch/local ---highlight it at the top "All sauces and dressings are made from scratch"....super no biggie detail. The door for the smoker's to go out is right in the middle of the joint--so if that bothers you--sit on the sides. If I lived closer, this would be a regular on my list...will visit again soon. This place is dubbed as a Hawkeye bar. Do not believe the hype! I was there with a large group of fans to watch the InSight bowl this year. They were very accommodating for the first half. However, when the people drinking $1 draws out of imitation Solo cups starting playing the jukebox at half time, the owner refused to turn the audio back to the game for the 20+ Hawk fans drinking mixed drinks and bottled beer. It is very apparent that the owner is only committed to the Hawks when there is an I-Club event there. I do not foresee there being one there in the future. However, there might be one across the street where we were welcomed and provided with TV and audio!!! read more
