Good and growing list of product. Nice selection of non-alcoholic beer. Don't have it? Ask and if they can get it, they will.

Whenever we need to stock up, this is our go-to because of the huge selection. Whether you're looking for liquor, wine, or something new to try, they truly have so many options. We love just wandering the aisles and seeing what unique bottles or seasonal finds they have in stock. The employees are always friendly and helpful anytime we have questions or need recommendations. Right when you walk in, there's also a small bar area (which we still need to try!). Such a cool touch that makes it feel more like an experience than just a quick shopping trip. I highly recommend stopping by to check out their selection. It's a great place to stock up, find something new, or even turn it into a fun afternoon or date night stop.

They have a bar right inside the store and you can either hang out and watch the TVs or talk, or peruse the store with your drink. We can usually find hard to find bourbons here and they always have my favorite Thanksgiving wine, Beaujolais nouveau. Lots of seasonal picks too! Huge beer selection, both cold from the coolers and out in the store. This store is much bigger and has more selections than the one downtown.

If you never went in, you'd never think it was anything more than a gas station. Beer at gas stations isn't anything new. But, beer that you could only get at a specialty market? That's pretty cool. Conversely, if you weren't paying attention and you missed the gas pumps, it looks like a specialty market, with a wide selection of things you could never think of buying. Pickled mushrooms? Interesting. Five different kinds of pickled mushrooms? Wow. It IS a specialty market, with a wide selection of things you could never think of buying. Why are there gourmet cookies with a label I can't read? I don't know, but they look delicious. Why is there kratom at the gas station? No idea, but it's pretty cool. Oh...and the gas prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of distancing going on here. I wish I lived here. No, not at the gas station/specialty shop, although that is an idea.

What the heck is a gas station doing selling gyros? Obviously we needed to try it, or at the very least look at it. Upon entering the store and looking to the left, there's an entire section for Russian food. We were befuddled, as there's no signage advertising eastern European groceries outside at all. What's more, the entire wall is eastern European food. Seems like an oversight not to advertise, so I felt I had to post. There's freezers full of pierogies, ice creams, cakes, sausages, caviar, and more. There's entire food stands full of Russian chocolates, tea cookies, and desserts. On top of that, they have made to order gyros and Philly cheese steaks. Got the gyro with fries for $6.49 and was astounded by how good it was. The pita was nice and soft, and the meat was plentiful and seasoned well. The veggies and sauce weren't my favorite, but I can overlook those. Turns out the owner of this place also owns the gyro shop in The Food Court on 42nd St, and they know what they are doing. I'll be coming back, but may bring my own homemade sauce. You definitely need to check this place out. Plus, think how hilarious it will be to tell someone you are taking them out to gyros, only to pull up to a gas station.

It was a lovely experience, learning about where the wines came from, their history & the tastings paired well with a charcuterie board! You really have to buy tickets as soon as you can because seating is limited. They also have free pop-up tastings if you are on their mailing list! There appears to be a loose theme for tastings as this one mostly revolved around Spanish region wines. The only improvement I would suggest is new glasses with each wine. Or the ability to rinse out the glass. Thought it was a bit odd they just sampled the next wine on top of the last wine in the same glass - not the biggest deal but that would never fly in Napa. Those leading the tasting were passionate, interactive and knowledgeable. I've attended quite a few wine tastings in the past and I still walked away with gained knowledge. The set up is charming and makes you forget you're in a wine shop. The featured wines were available for purchase and no matter what you like, you will find it here!

Even if not completely true, still an impressive claim. The former owner introduced her to the Napa winemakers. She knows them now. John, the former owner, got me a reservation to The French Laundry back in the last century and before it was famous. I really like the Napa map on the wall. Helpful. If you want a special wine or something that you can't get elsewhere, this is the place. But I pulled one over on her; much to my surprise. She didn't know that the Staglin Family Vineyard was a location in "The Parent Trap." Staglin is a beautiful property with some impressive art work. I didn't think Staglin wines were sold in Omaha. Next time in, I will get a bottle of The Special Reserve from Parker Knoll.

OWC focuses on California wines, and they have probably 2-3 times the number of CA (as well as russian river valley, etc.) wines as those from overseas. However, I disagree that OWC is always more expensive. I have found several wines there at lower prices than I was able to buy direct from the winery when in Napa. Further, while the stock there tends toward the $25-60 dollar range, every time I have been there I have picked up a couple $15 "everyday" wines that have been really good. This place is easily the best wine store in the Metro.

Well I was embarrassingly surprised at the quality of bourbons that they had behind the counter. Let's face it, If you're looking for anything Buffaloe Trace, or Heaven Hill etc... They have it! You may ask then why the low rating score?... Well, If you're into paying 200% and upwards over msrp for a bottle of liquor, then this is the place for you. I am not sure how this place survives with competing grocers and other well established sprit shops within 15-20 minutes of each other that carry the same brands. In some instances you may have to enter a raffle for the Wellers, Pappy's etc. But you would never pay 200% over msrp, which let's be honest - this is probably the worst price gouging in the state! Before someone states "that's business 101" I understand that they are in business to make a buck! But charging over $300 for a $35-50 bottle of bourbon? This is some type of slum-lord ownership that I personally would not mind seeing close its doors - which probaby will not happen bc everyone needs their hooch!
