I mean, it's the best of the best. You couldn't ask for a better wine, beer, and spirit store. The bar is cheap and the selection is huge. Donny is the best bartender: he's personable and kind. All the employees are super helpful and are always there to answer questions. They have every drink you could think of, and will help you get what you can't find. It's one of my favorite stores in Omaha. It can't be beat!! And it's so fun it's in an old toys r us. Great vibes and fun times.

Some friends and I popped in here before a party to stock up on a a few things, and have been back a few time since! This used to be a Toys R Us, so we affectionately now refer to this establishment as Beers R Us. It is literally a giant warehouse with every beer, wine, spirit, and mixer you could imagine! I was in hog heaven looking at all the interesting brews I had never tried (pickle beer? Yes, please!) I think it actually may have possibly BEEN a version of a warehouse, because my husband's dust allergy was going WILD while we were here. That was the only drawback, but I will just make him wait outside next time LOL They also have a board where people can write down things they are requesting to see on the shelves, which I think is a super nice touch to try to get everyone the items they are seeking. There are wines, beers, and spirits for every budget and every taste, so definitely stop in if you are looking to stock up for a party, just grabbing something for yourself, or just to explore all they have to offer!

Wow! Where have I been?! An amazing package store, bar, and outdoor seating area all rolled into one. Best part, a little off the beaten path in a quieter and portion of downtown with an absolutely mind blowing variety of products that include wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic selections. The in-store bar offers customized flights of scotch, Rye, tequila, etc. On tap beers feature many local options. The folks at the establishment were super helpful and I can't wait to come back again. Metered Street parking and parking garages in the immediate area make access easy for a downtown/ Old Market location.

Love this spot for the selection and price! Staff is always very helpful as well. Highly recommend making this your go-to for all things wine/beer/spirits!

I love this place. First, so glad they took over the old Toys R Us. They even kept some of the old signage which was kind of comical. I stopped in randomly on a Friday and didn't realize it was sample night, I wish I would have had more time!! Huge selection of just about anything you need and great prices. I did struggle a bit to understand how they had everything organized but I was in a rush so hopefully with more time I'll get it! As an added bonus I love they have a bar so you can sip a cocktail while shopping. Can't wait to go back.

I love how they have their sign being a giraffe (like Toys R Us had...) but with sunglasses and a wine glass.

If you never went in, you'd never think it was anything more than a gas station. Beer at gas stations isn't anything new. But, beer that you could only get at a specialty market? That's pretty cool. Conversely, if you weren't paying attention and you missed the gas pumps, it looks like a specialty market, with a wide selection of things you could never think of buying. Pickled mushrooms? Interesting. Five different kinds of pickled mushrooms? Wow. It IS a specialty market, with a wide selection of things you could never think of buying. Why are there gourmet cookies with a label I can't read? I don't know, but they look delicious. Why is there kratom at the gas station? No idea, but it's pretty cool. Oh...and the gas prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of distancing going on here. I wish I lived here. No, not at the gas station/specialty shop, although that is an idea.

This may seem like a super random and weird place to review, but it needs doing. We were driving by…read morethis gas station and saw "gyros" on the sign. What? What the heck is a gas station doing selling gyros? Obviously we needed to try it, or at the very least look at it. Upon entering the store and looking to the left, there's an entire section for Russian food. We were befuddled, as there's no signage advertising eastern European groceries outside at all. What's more, the entire wall is eastern European food. Seems like an oversight not to advertise, so I felt I had to post. There's freezers full of pierogies, ice creams, cakes, sausages, caviar, and more. There's entire food stands full of Russian chocolates, tea cookies, and desserts. On top of that, they have made to order gyros and Philly cheese steaks. Got the gyro with fries for $6.49 and was astounded by how good it was. The pita was nice and soft, and the meat was plentiful and seasoned well. The veggies and sauce weren't my favorite, but I can overlook those. Turns out the owner of this place also owns the gyro shop in The Food Court on 42nd St, and they know what they are doing. I'll be coming back, but may bring my own homemade sauce. You definitely need to check this place out. Plus, think how hilarious it will be to tell someone you are taking them out to gyros, only to pull up to a gas station.

Well I was embarrassingly surprised at the quality of bourbons that they had behind the counter. Let's face it, If you're looking for anything Buffaloe Trace, or Heaven Hill etc... They have it! You may ask then why the low rating score?... Well, If you're into paying 200% and upwards over msrp for a bottle of liquor, then this is the place for you. I am not sure how this place survives with competing grocers and other well established sprit shops within 15-20 minutes of each other that carry the same brands. In some instances you may have to enter a raffle for the Wellers, Pappy's etc. But you would never pay 200% over msrp, which let's be honest - this is probably the worst price gouging in the state! Before someone states "that's business 101" I understand that they are in business to make a buck! But charging over $300 for a $35-50 bottle of bourbon? This is some type of slum-lord ownership that I personally would not mind seeing close its doors - which probaby will not happen bc everyone needs their hooch!

There appears to be a loose theme for tastings as this one mostly revolved around Spanish region wines. The only improvement I would suggest is new glasses with each wine. Or the ability to rinse out the glass. Thought it was a bit odd they just sampled the next wine on top of the last wine in the same glass - not the biggest deal but that would never fly in Napa. Those leading the tasting were passionate, interactive and knowledgeable. I've attended quite a few wine tastings in the past and I still walked away with gained knowledge.
