I really want to love this place, as I appreciate what it does. It's clear they go out of their way to be unique, and they are very friendly and welcoming. Twice now I have gone, and both times ordered the salted caramel shake. The first time, I loved the shake, except the caramel bits they put on top, which are waxy and artificial and add nothing to the taste. That's not a problem, as they can be left off. So I went again, and I have to say, I liked it less this time. Without the caramel bits to distract me, I tried to enjoy this one, but it was so sweet. That's to be expected with marshmallow fluff AND caramel, but there was drizzle on the inside of the cup, and the taste was just over the top sweet. I would have given just about anything to have been able to tone it down with some whipped cream or something, but they don't serve that. Because this dessert is reasonably pricey, I kept eating it, but after digging in with a spoon, I noticed the "salted" aspect to the salted caramel. It was an unpleasant crunch, made possible by what looked like rock salt. I get that we all think salted caramel is a thing, but I would prefer a subtler approach. Or none, actually. On the plus side, the presentation of the drink is impressive. The toasted marshmallow is very tasty. I like the marshmallow fluff. I'm not interested in the other flavors, but I may try asking for a plain chocolate shake next time (minus the hot chocolate mix it comes with) and see if that tones down the sweet and the salt. Loovvee this place!! I always get the almond joy smore! The only thing i wish is that they had metal silverware bcuz itd be easier to eat the smore. But Next time ill just bring my own no biggie! I came across Fluff It at the Glendale Chocolate Affaire and I couldn't believe there's a little shop for marshmallows! The hardest part was deciding on something to try. I went with the pink lemonade marshmallow...I'm a sucker for something new and different. I was thinking there would be a lemonade coating on top of the marshmallow but the whole thing was flavored! Came a few weeks ago but wanted to visit forever. I worked at a bakery that used their marshmallow fluff about 4 years ago and it was amazing. I wanted to try making my "famous" cookies n cream rice krispy treats, but wanted to try a more "boujiee"/ sophisticated version with more expensive ingredients to see how much better they could be. And oh boy, we're they the best rice krispy treats I've ever made. I opted for their Cookies and Cream marshmallows that come in a pack of 6, about 8 oz, so I bought 2x packages to equal the same amount in your standard recipe. Then, instead of cheaper white chocolate I opted for a more expensive Bakers Bar (costs more per ounce). The marshmallows themselves were about $15 I think so more than your typical $2-3 bag of Jet Puffed brand, but you could definitely tell the quality difference was IMMENSE. Crazy that changing the main ingredient to something of higher quality changes the dish entirely. I happened to be in Gilbert to run errands and was excited to find out this place was just shortly down the street from my intended destination, so of course, I stopped in for a visit. I initially found out about this place from Instagram! The place was empty (random weekday close to lunch time) but was very clean and organized. I was greeted pretty almost immediately, and the gal explained the items they had on the wall and made suggestions based on what I was wanting to purchase. She made sure to ask if I had been there before, which was helpful. I wanted a coffee drink and some flavored marshmallows. I got their coconut mocha, which was good, and took home a salted caramel whoopie pie (seasonal), churro mallows, and candy cane mallows (seasonal). Everything was delicious. (We added the flavored mallows to an edible brownie batter, and it was perrrrrfect!) To be noted, I believe their cold coffee drinks are made with a cold brew and not espresso. I generally do lattes, though I'm not particularly picky, and I thought the coconut mocha had good flavor. It was quite sweet. If I am in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for a treat or for gifted treats! If you're in for a sugar rush and like marshmallow treats, give it a try! read more

Whenever you are in the Phoenix area, you NEED to stop at toasted mallow! This shop is like nothing you've ever seen before and will absolutely blow your mind. Even if you don't like marshmallows or arent a huge sweets person, I guarantee you will find something to love there. From the Smores bar and the fantastically unique drinks, to the dozens of flavored marshmallows and various desserts, you literally can't go wrong. Tricia and her staff work so hard and make you feel right at home while you are there. The marshmallows brought us there, and they alomg with the great customer service keep us coming back, even though it's a bit of a drive. I would give this place a 5 star review for the s'mores alone. Really creative concepts that are knock-out delicious. I love that you can toast the marshmallows as much as you want. Dark toasted marshmallow between two chocolate chip cookies covered in chocolate icing? Do I need to tell you that this is the best thing ever? Because it is! But my rating is for the customer service as much as the s'mores. The young man working the counter went over and above to make the experience fun for my family. He showed my kid how the s'more was made and was so patient while she choose her toppings and my elderly father sampled stuff. I would come back here often just for the food (again, guys, it's a melted marshmallow covered in cookies. Come on!) but the whole experience made me a regular for life.
