It took them about 75 minutes to get to our house which was within 10 minutes of their estimate. My neighbor let me into our building and helped me leave messages for over 10 locksmiths. Most went to a voicemail service saying to leave a message and someone will call back within 10 minutes. Well I didn't hear from a SINGLE ONE! So I saw an add for Champion which said emergency service 25/7 so I called. Someone (very friendly) answered by the second ring. He told me someone would be at my place within a half hour. The locksmith showed up about 20 minutes later and was able to get me in my apartment within seconds! The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 was because it was pricey. I was expecting it to be between $50 and $100 based on what I know friends have paid, but Champion charged $125. I can't complain, they were the only ones who showed up and the service was excellent! If your life is on hold, what's an extra 25 bucks. Thank you Champion Locksmith!

Their standard call-out fee is almost $300, and that's before they've done any work, and then they mark up the hardware at an extortionate rate. One of the employees told me that they do this because they don't want to do residential work. Since that is the case, they should just say so up front, instead of pretending to service the Brookline community. This is a crappy way to behave towards the community that has kept the business going for years.

Arrived within a few hours, cut key and programmed it, all within 15 minutes or so. Quite pleased. The cost was a bit steep $410 but dealerships had similar prices and I'd need the car towed with wheel dollies there, plus wait time. Definitely would recommend ASAP.
