Great experience with the team at LL&K. Went in with questions about key fob replacement and they researched and offered suggestions openly and honestly. Highly recommend!! read more

Stopped in yesterday from suggestion from Anthony at Cowgills to see if they could help me with "tiny" screws that were needed for my son's automatic car starter key. The woman who helped me (I forget her name?) spent a lot of time with tiny screws and did not charge me anything!! Thank you!! read more

If you have a classic car, Mike is the guy to see for your lock-and-key needs. It's hard to find people who are really lock experts. Knowledgeable and fair, easy to do business with. It's a busy little shop, so don't expect them to always drop everything to fix your item on the spot. Yes, they can make a key or program a newer car key fob, but more complex requests may not be instant. read more

Went to drop off my Honda ridgeline ignition cylinder to get it fixed. Tony checked the ignition cylinder and called me immediately to let me know the ignition cylinder was not the problem. He was great explaining how my whole ignition switch assembly works and recommended to try a couple of things that ended up fixing my ignition problem. Very knowledgeable, honest and great service. Awesome service! I had an emergency situation and heard great things about these guys. I had a death in the family and needed to get all the locks changed immediately. Spoke with Tony first thing in the morning and he had Mike at the house a short time later! Super friendly, super knowledgeable and a great price. HIGHLY recommend Lowell Lock & Key! read more

It is a tie as to what i hate worse, lying or attempting to rip me off.. Well they did both, I had a simple request, re-key my ignition keys to open the trunk and drivers door. If need be, just make me two keys for the door and trun as its the original lock. They gave me a speech that it is, and i quote; "a pain in the ass and over a two hour job"... Lies... I found an honest locksmith in Bedford Lock who said "sure, bring your license and registration and I can look up your keys from GM and make two keys" Lowell schlock and keys wanted over 200.. The honest man at bedford lock said $80 and its done... read more

Daughter decided it would be a good idea to lock the keys inside. I wasted a few hours trying to get it myself for a while because I'm stubborn like that. So based on the great reviews and remembering good things I had heard in the past, I called Lowell Lock and Key. Tony in the office was great. Mike came out, within an hour, and had me all squared away back in the room and with new keys in no time at all. Literally 5 minutes to get in the room and another 2 minutes for new keys. And a really nice guy, too, that really knows his stuff. My advice is don't waste your time, call these guys and save yourself the hassle. Phenomenal. Highly, highly recommended! read more

After speaking with Tony in the office, Mike was sent out to do some work for me. He was able to re-key several locks and replace a deadbolt entirely when I moved into a new home. He works quick, efficiently, and seems to do it all right the first time. I asked for 6 keys to be made and he was happy to make them on the spot. Every key he made worked immediately without issue and without having to "wear them in a bit" like some keys I have had made at hardware stores in the past. This guy is in high demand so make your appointment's early if possible. You won't be disappointed. read more

I don't normally get excited about my locksmiths, but Mike is my go-to guy. Today I locked myself out of my house and called him in a panic. Within ten minutes he had already arrived and gotten me back in. That's service!!!! He installed our door locks for our entire house back in May and did an excellent job then, too. He's a personable guy and I know he will do right so I choose to stick with him! read more

Terrible customer service. When I walked in 2 people were at the desk and didn't even look up for 30 seconds. It's like you are bothering them by coming in. Thought maybe it was a one time thing, but nope. Went again and received the same attitude. Unfortunately they are the closest locksmith to me and they do get the job done at a decent price so I go there when I have to ( get special keys copied that Home Depot can't do). read more

Mike was a great help. I needed locks rekeyed and he was there when I needed him. I highly recommend calling on him. He is busy because he is in demand, but well worth the wait. There is no better: I know because I spoke to the other guys. read more

Mike came out to change over our locks. While he's a talker, he really knows his stuff, and takes your convenience into consideration when making choices about keys and security. While he was on his way over, I ended up breaking a key in a dead bolt because the lock had hardly been used in many years. He took care of that without a problem (or eye rolling) and tuned it up to work like new. He even replaced a whole door knob to match the others. And finally, when testing all the locks and doors, he tuned up a door that was sticking so it would close more easily. The service call took longer than I thought it would, but I was glad to have things done right, and reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again. read more
