I have been to KeyMasters a few times and each time I can't get over how great a place it is. The young man that helped me there is Angelo. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but pleasant and very patient. He assured me that if he didn't have a blank to make me 3 copies of a Key that I needed, he would find the correct one and order them. He did an outstanding job of communicating with me as no sooner had I left his business, I received a call from him telling me he had found 3 blanks and even though it was late in the day, he would make these keys for me for I could drop by the next morning and pick them up. When I got there, I tried these keys and they worked great. Angelo as always did an outstanding job. Prior to going to KeyMasters for these keys, I had tried other places and not one of them put forth any effort into helping me. I cannot recommend KeyMasters and Angelo enough. This place is amazing. The owner, Angelo, went way above and beyond to deliver exemplary customer service. That is rare in any kind of business these days, so I was extremely impressed by that alone, but their prices are also very fair. Hundreds of dollars lower here than what my dealer would have charged for a key fob replacement for my Altima. Damaged my key fob while walking around the mall. Luckily I remembered the local Sears usually has key and key remote services. Found out that their service is located in a separate kiosk in the parking area really convenient for drive up service. Service was super fast and the price was well below what I would expect at a dealer for fixing my remote. The place looked well stock and capable of taking care of any job that rolled their way. Needing to fix the remote sucks, but having a professional repair it definitely is good peace of mind. If I ever need to fix my car keys again, I'll definitely return here! read more

These guys are excellent, professional and quick. I had been dealing with a problem with my 2013 Ford Edge for 2 years with the MyKey system. The dealers wanted a fortune to fix the problem along with a 1 month wait to get into the service department and replace a lost key. I called these guys and immediately was taken care for a fraction of what the dealers wanted to charge. I talked with Angelo who told me to drop by in the afternoon and he would correct the problem. Angelo was very knowledgeable and professional. I was there a total of 20 minutes and drove home smiling. Well, you get what you pay for. The price is about one third of what a dealer will charge but the quality tells you why so. One key of my car lost a couple of monthsback . Went to this place to make a key . While dealer was asking $350, they made it for $125 . But the key broke just after a couple of months.. They put it in a new shell (had to pay again) but said that these keys break frequently. The original (OEM) key is 10 years old and going strong . read more

For a spare car key: 1) Dealership quoted $300+ 2) 3 other companies around $250 3) Keyless Shop at Sears = $125 Pulled up, gave them key, went in mall, they called me back in 20 minutes with my brand new key. For the price and quick turnaround, I highly recommend the Keyless Shop at Sears. They also said that even when Sears goes out of business that they will remain open and at their current location. read more

These folks are great! Wished we had found them before our trip to the dealer to get a programmed key, but they will get our business from now on. They were able to make additional keys for us, made sure they worked and mentioned additional services (mentioned, not pushed) they could offer. Their prices are wallet friendly too. I went to the location at 7103 Democracy Blvd. Bethesda, MD 20817 and the assistance was TERRIBLE & AGGRESSIVE! I went in to inquire if they could assist me. I gave them the basic information (make, model, year, etc) First, the gentlemen assisting me jumped into my car without asking. I then asked what he was doing, and he said "trying to see if I can get your key". I let him finish what he was doing. He then finished, and quoted me $150.00 and all I had in cash was 140 dollars. He got mad and told me I wasted his time and slammed the key in the trash and told me the next time I come in he is going to change 225 dollars. I was in disbelieve that I was being treated this way because I was never quoted a price which is why I was there in the first place. Come to find out, today I visited the website and my key was listed at $125.00! Not only was the service aggrieve but they tried to hustle me! I do not know what type of business you are offering to the public but it is simply unacceptable to treat people that way. I was there yesterday 6/23/19 around 1:45-2:00 ET. This place doesn't know what they're doing. I came in once to get another smart key and they didn't have it in stock. They told me they'd order it and call me. When it came in three weeks later, I came in and they said 30 mins. I came back 45 mins later and still not done (not sure if they had even started yet). I waited there for another 20 mins and they told me that they ordered the wrong key and they will order the right one. It came in and I came back two weeks later (they called me 4 times in 6 days to tell me that it came in). They said 15 mins. They called me 30 mins later and said I could come back. When I got there, they told me they couldn't program it because you can't add more than two keys, even though one of mine was lost. Great! I guess they don't know what they're doing because I think someone with the experience would have known this from the beginning. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the dealer and get it done right. read more
