I was left with incredibly short, choppy bangs that fell much above my forehead. I've tried styling it like she had suggested, but unfortunately it is much too short and not salvageable at this point. I understand that to some degree my straight hair makes it a challenge, but I've had bangs many times before but never anything like this. Lastly, I was left with all the loose hair on my face and eyes. At any other salon I've been to, the stylists would usually dust my face off as a courtesy at the end. From the very first message, Lauren at Darlwas responsive, empathetic, and incredibly kind. She truly listened to what happened and what I was hoping to achieve. I waited 20 minutes for my 1pm haircut, Adam seemed stressed and in a hurry when we finally started our haircut after 1:20pm, we went to the hair washing station, it was full, so he gestured me to go back to the hair cutting station, only to gesture me to come back to the hair washing station a few seconds later. Just gesturing me back and forth with his hand, no talking, no saying "please, or thank you", nothing polite about his gesturing. Being sent back and forth does not make me feel well-treated. Adam used all kinds of heating tools to make my haircut looked okay as I walked out of this "celebrity" Salon. When I arrived home to wash and dry my hair, it returned to its natural texture and it became a disaster. My hair became puffy and so many volume, that it resembled the shape of the letter "A", the shape of the Egyptian pyramid, it became the largest natural helmet you can imagine... a race car helmet! I calmed myself to wait a few days, maybe I will get use to it, maybe it is not so bad, maybe it will be okay, but everyday when I wake up to look at the mirror, I see my big helmet hair and want to cry! This disaster costed me over $100 dollars and $20 dollars in cash tip to Adam. Now I have booked another hair appointment with my old stylist to fix this disaster so I don't go to all the holiday parties with my ugly helmet hair, so that I don't want to cry everyday when I wake up. I also had to wait 20 minutes for my 1pm appointment with Adam. This so-called celebrity salon is not what it pretends to be. I don't feel like a celebrity, and I don't look like a celebrity, instead, my haircut at Salon Blanc made me feel unimportant for a long wait and UGLY!
