The upcharging at this place has gotten out of control. $35 for a bang trim add on... really? It takes 20 seconds for the bang trim. Another $75 add on for toner I didn't request or know about until I saw the receipt. I think I've reached the end of my rope with this place. My second time here at Salon Blanc was a disaster. My haircuts on December 16, 2025 at 1pm with Adam turn out so UGLY! I waited 20 minutes for my 1pm haircut, Adam seemed stressed and in a hurry when we finally started our haircut after 1:20pm, we went to the hair washing station, it was full, so he gestured me to go back to the hair cutting station, only to gesture me to come back to the hair washing station a few seconds later. Just gesturing me back and forth with his hand, no talking, no saying "please, or thank you", nothing polite about his gesturing. Being sent back and forth does not make me feel well-treated. Adam used all kinds of heating tools to make my haircut looked okay as I walked out of this "celebrity" Salon. When I arrived home to wash and dry my hair, it returned to its natural texture and it became a disaster. My hair became puffy and so many volume, that it resembled the shape of the letter "A", the shape of the Egyptian pyramid, it became the largest natural helmet you can imagine... a race car helmet! I calmed myself to wait a few days, maybe I will get use to it, maybe it is not so bad, maybe it will be okay, but everyday when I wake up to look at the mirror, I see my big helmet hair and want to cry! This disaster costed me over $100 dollars and $20 dollars in cash tip to Adam. Now I have booked another hair appointment with my old stylist to fix this disaster so I don't go to all the holiday parties with my ugly helmet hair, so that I don't want to cry everyday when I wake up. I also had to wait 20 minutes for my 1pm appointment with Adam. This so-called celebrity salon is not what it pretends to be. I don't feel like a celebrity, and I don't look like a celebrity, instead, my haircut at Salon Blanc made me feel unimportant for a long wait and UGLY! read more

She was amazing. She worked with me on a riot touch up to come as close as possible to my current color. She was engaging, fun and did a great job of matching my current color. Hmmm .. I got a perm the other day. I wanted wavy bigger body curls see picture the blonde. I got super tight spirals so not a good look or the look I asked for or wanted. I assumed he knew he f'd up because he dipped out of work right after and avoided talking to me. At first I thought it was the way the person who my cut hair and styled it made my curls tight but no. A great salon! Had Shea Marie as my stylist for the day. She was the second person in my life to ever cut/color my hair (very stressful) and did an excellent job. She is a master of her craft when it comes to blondes as she did exactly what I wanted with dimensionality and good for growing out. She also kept it golden to accentuate my natural features. 4 stars because haircut itself was a little choppy on one side but would do 4.5 if I could! She asked how I wanted my hair styled and I said soft curls. My hair has zero curl, was pulled and nearly ripped out of my head, and my experience was very unpleasant. Aug 15, walked into salon for a haircut. Waited to be seated, was called and greeted by the stylist. As she begin to do her thing, I asked about other services they offer.I also learned my haircut is $135 said my stylist. But I only paid $130. I got interested to try kerastese conditioning add on service for $46 and availed it. After we finished, I proceed to check out. I grabbed my card and asked permission if I can just give a CASH tip, she said okay. I tapped my card. I did not add tip. No receipt. Fine. No complaints. I walked to the stylist, gave the tip and thanked her. Not until I came home I realized I think I overpayed. I called the salon,asked to email the receipt. She said ok. I waited nothing came. Called again, she said she already sent.I verified email add and its correct. I just asked the staff to give me breakdown of services,she did and I asked why its still over. Then she hesitantly said the tip $46. I reminder her I asked her if okay to just give cash tip. She said she will refund me the tip. No apology. One day past, still no receipt. The fact that I have to asked the breakdown of the services over the phone is tacky. I have no choice. My trust at check out counter was betrayed and all for a dime and penny. I went to get extensions and wanted I-tip I was told she was going to put in the same extensions that she removed (which were I-tip) but she put in half-inch long glue ins. She was very nice but put in the wrong extensions. First of all she didn't put them by my roots, they looked like they were already grown for three weeks, she put them way too close together so the tangled way easier then they already do, and they weren't even the right type I wanted. In addition when I got them removed there was so much glue stuck in my hair. I will never go to this shop again. I overpaid and spend way too much for a service that wasn't what I wanted. I feel bad for calling her out but I'm mad. Her name is Christina, sweet girl, means well but I'm very upset. Feel like my hair if f***ed up from these extensions. 10/10 do NOT recommend this place. read more

The owner himself, Alan, is amazing and incredibly generous. He helped me with a color correction in late February, so I came back. A month ago, I made an appointment with Sega for a cut and soft, cool blonde ombré. Before Sega came in, the receptionist (with blue/black hair) switched me and another client. When I called attention to it, they did not switch us back, because "She already talked to Sega." (So what? That was my appointment...) I gave the other client's stylist a chance. She didn't introduce herself, but someone called her Cheyenne and her brushes were labeled Shae. She took twice as long as it usually takes and my hair color is not even close to what I asked for. Regardless of lighting or location, the color is a medium beige with dark spots. Those indoor photos are from today and the outdoor ones were my examples. When I notified the stylist, she made excuses. She explained a different technique should have been used, so I asked why she didn't do that then. We just went in circles. Then, she told me to come back so she could "correct it and bleach it again." Alan literally told me 3 months ago to be careful with bleaching too soon and to give my hair time to heal, because it is so fine. I feel like the switch was on purpose, because my services took much longer than the other client and likely, were more expensive. I never once said "highlights," but mysteriously that's what I received? (I know it's not highlights, but Miss Stylist insisted it is.) Also, the receptionist and stylist were pushy about me coming back ASAP to bleach it again, despite my busy schedule and concerns. This is not my first problem with the salon's receptionists either. My husband's appointment was also scheduled incorrectly (date, time, and services), multiple times. Had I written this review before, it would have been 5 out of 5 stars, but I am livid about this experience. The only plus is that Jessi gave me the perfect haircut. She was meticulous, careful, and made sure it was what I wanted before cutting. I highly recommend her. read more

Went in for a balayage. Stylist FRIED my hair and I had to have her tone it twice because the color was so off. She was so rough with her brushing and blow drying that I feel like she pulled out so much of my hair that it's thinner than it already was. I'm so disappointed. I had to go to another salon and they cut off 7". It took me years to grow my hair out. I'm sure there are many good stylists at this salon. However, I unfortunately did not have that experience . Very personable and gave me suggestions on the best cut that would great on me. I got 8 inches cut and it got $115 (that's with tax). The stylists also have QR codes for Venmo that you can use to tip which is a great option if you don't have cash. Parking is free for 2 hours with validation. The lady asked me who I'm here to see I told her Allen, he came out asked me who I'm here to see. I don't think he knew I had an appointment with him. Now I'm coming from Kauai to get my hair done On Oahu. Allen was kind of all over the place checking my hair out. I get it he's an expert, he wanted to see what fits my face but I don't care about that I just know what I want I'm a landscaper so my hair is pulled back anyways. He gave me what I asked for a blunt cut , with a cute style. When I got home after washing my hair I did have to cut some hang hairs, not so many tho. I would like to share this part also , Allen's helper the one that washed my hair was so rough with my head. she wasn't rude or indifferent it seemed like she wanted to get this over with lol that's the vide I got she also helped blow dry my hair and that was just crazy then Allen stepped in he was so fast and good at blowing out hair still hurt beauty hurts. Lol Having a certificate in relaxation therapy washing peoples hair is supposed to bring them relaxation not discomfort. Salon Blanc does exactly that. As soon as you arrive until the moment you leave, the staff treat you with VIP status. My hair was in desperate need of some love and I got exactly that! I love the way my chandelier haircut (a cut that Alan created himself!) turned out. Also, I need to mention how sanitary the salon was in order to protect clients/staff from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Their hand sanitizer smells like lavender and they have a touchless temperature taking device that I was extremely impressed by! I called to schedule an appointment with Alan. He was booked, so the receptionist gave me an appointment with Christina. As I waited for Christina, Alan came and introduced himself and said he'd like to do my cut. And I of course I said "yes". So I started with Christina who was not only professional but kind and sweet. She and I had conversations that just flowed as if we were old friends. I told her what I wanted and she did my color with perfection! Alan is also a sweetheart and treated me like my voice mattered. He asked me a lot of questions and then started to cut. His style is very different, I've never seen anyone cut like him. It's graceful and yet with quick movements. And anytime you have someone new do your hair, it's nerve racking. And then seeing him with his shears cutting like "Edward scissors hand" made me a bit nervous but I LOVE his Signature Chandelier layered cut. My hair flows with me when as I move, and it fits my face shape perfectly. I wake up and I feel like I don't have to brush my hair because it looks perfect. I hope Alan and Christina reads my review because they are pure professionals and they know their business well!! They both treat you like you belong there in their salon and in their chair. Had an appointment with Adam today. My first haircut in 4 years due to cancer; finally had a head of hair worth cutting. He also agreed to my request to use my iTera Care wand to blow dry my hair.
