If you need a hair and makeup artist, I highly recommend booking with Cheryl! She is so talented and I love her fun personality. I booked a trial with her and knew right away that I would need to book her for my wedding. I loveee her style of hair and makeup...I didn't want to take my makeup off after! Cheryl books up quickly so I recommend booking early. On the day of our wedding Cheryl and her team arrived early and everyone looked great! She does a great job of listening to your wants/needs and my makeup lasted all night. Her prices are reasonable and I've already booked her for my maternity shoot. Thank you Cheryl! You are the best!
Yelp never lets me down. I needed a makeup and hair artist. After the hundreds of great reviews, I decided to contact Cheryl and book her for my wedding and also for a trial. The trial was a month before my wedding and it went awesome! She was able to find the makeup look for my special day! She also had great ideas for my hair. I looked like a billion dollars. So glam! So classic! So perfect! The big day came and Cheryl sent a timeline the day before. She arrived on time to our hotel and she was able to get everyone done at a good time! Everyone loved my look and the best part was my makeup lasted all day and night! If you are looking for the best hair and makeup artist in Hawaii, it is Cheryl! She is worth every penny! She also has her own product line! Works great on Filipino skin too!! (Just sayin, i am either pale or yellow with other foundations. Lol!)
I researched for months on end for a MUA for my wedding. My search ended when I came across Cheryl's page. What initially peaked my interest was she has her own make-up line. IMO it takes a very dedicated and passionate person to create their own line. Next, Cheryl and her assistant kept in constant contact with me every step of the way. That line of communication helped to relieve the stress of being thousands of miles away. My first impression of Cheryl is she is a beautiful person inside and out. She is a very talented artist and if I could do it all over again, I would choose her 1,000 times over. FYI her make-up line, Cherbu, felt like second skin and lasted the heat of an outdoor wedding, the reception, and well into the night that we spent at club Addiction afterwards.
Im so thankful that Cheryl got to do my sister's hair and make-up for prom. It was a last minute decision to look for a MUA and Im glad I found Cherbu, and contacted them right away yesterday. Got a response on the same day that Cheryl has an opening. It was our first time booking with her and I loved her work instantly. She cares for her client and very accommodative. Will be going to her again in the future.
After deciding for sure that Fiancé and I were going to have a destination wedding in Hawaii from The Bay, I had to quickly search for my hair and makeup artist. I was referred to Cheryl by a colleague and after reviewing her profile and work, it was a no brainer if I didn't go with her. Thank you to Cheryl Hazelgrove and her team for their amaaaaaazing work!! They are YHE best!! I am sooooo happy I chose her for my special day!! From the very beginning, Ipo was responding to all my questions and concerns quickly and is so sweet. I was able to schedule my hair and makeup trial so I can also meet Cheryl 3 days before the wedding. I LOVE Cheryl's personality and we just clicked the second we met! She's so easy going, she listens to what you want/ alike, gives suggestions, and made me feel super comfortable. I don't wear makeup at all so I was a little scared to see how it would come out. I have gotten my hair and makeup done in the past and this is by far the BEST! Her makeup is really light and doesn't feel thick and caked on like other makeup. It stayed on allllll day and night through the tears, sweat and heat!! I am also happy to say that I did not break out at all, which I normally do when I get makeup done. On my wedding day, Ipo, Crystal and Cheryl came by on time at 6am for hair and makeup and they did it all in a systematic way. They are all so sweet and easy going. ALL of me bridal party, family and fiends that had their hair and makeup done absolutely love love LOVED It!! They really listen to what you want and they will get it down to the "T!" If you want more, they'll give you more, if you want less, no problem, if you want darker, they gotchu. were all so sweet, professional and friendly. Everyone loved it so much that they kept mentioning it over and over throughout the whole day. Everyone looked beautiful!!! I love how Cheryl also provided a touch up kit!! Don't waste your time searching anymore!! I recommend Cheryl and her team 100000%! You will not be let down!
When inquiring about services and costs, Ipo was always quick to respond. She is excellent communicating through email and usually responds within 1 day, 2 at the latest. Cherbu's pricing is similar to other experienced artists in the industry and is one of the few that actually offers tattoo coverup services. As the lead stylist, Cheryl does charge a slightly higher fee when requesting her over the other MUAs, and does charge additional fees based on early morning arrival. Cherbu does it all! In addition to hiring Cheryl for bridal hair, makeup and tattoo cover, I was also able to book a spray tan. Her bronze color can match any skin tone shade and blends perfectly due to her spraying technique. She does warn you it will be a little dark and gives you specific instructions for the first 48 hours, including "wash until you are happy with the color". My farmer's tan was long gone! Cheryl arrived at my hotel at 4:30 the morning of my wedding and went straight to work. I showed her some inspo photos of hair and makeup and warned her my hair has a hard time curling. She had no problems at all and completed everything by 7:30. Cheryl is meticulous about her work and is a true artist! Her makeup and application are perfect. She is good at enhancing your natural features which still allow you to look like yourself! She's fun, friendly and personable, making our 3 hours extremely comfortable. Time just flew by! Do not sell yourself short by a few dollar signs on your big day! By hiring Cheryl, you will confidently feel that you will look your absolute best on one of the most important days of your life!
I didn't have the pleasure to get my makeup done by Cheryl because she was booked but her lead stylist, Katie, was amazing! All communication was done via emails with Ipo, so simple. I love that all prices were listed on her website which saved me so much time. No deposits required until a few weeks out from your appointment date. Prices were competitive. Katie was my stylist and she was so sweet and did a great job on my mom and myself for my wedding. I didn't research much on wedding hair and makeup to be specific but Katie took my visions and went with it to best complement me. The makeup and hair lasted all day. She was very speedy too. Both of us were done in a little more than an hour. Thank you Katie and Ipo for turning me into a beautiful bride and making my mom 10 years younger lol. PS: I wished I got a little bit of the lipstick for touch ups BUT luckily I have one in the exact same shade. It was meant to be.
Cheryl and her team made my wedding day getting ready process the most calming experience! Cheryl is such a sweet soul and she really knows how to make you feel at home! From my trial to the big day my makeup was not something I worried about once I met Cheryl and saw what she could do! I searched around on yelp for a while trying to find a makeup artist and I'm so blessed that I landed on her! She is so professional and is just such a sweet heart! Don't hesitate - and book with her now for your big day! I got so much compliments on my makeup and my bridal party loved their hair and makeup! Thank you Cheryl so blessed to have had you and your team on my wedding day! You are a class act and I wish for more growth and prosperity your way!
Cheryl was recommended by our wedding planner & after getting my hair and makeup done by her twice I can see why! Cheryl has the sweetest personality when you meet her it's like you've known her your whole life! She is so fun & she will make you look BEAUTIFUL AF! I did my hair & makeup wedding trial on Valentine's Day and also did my hair and makeup with her for my engagement shoot. She really makes you look your best & can slayyyy your face! I asked her to contour my round Filipino face and give me a small kine nose job and boy did she deliver! I also don't have naturally nice eyebrows but she drew them in for me and they were on fleek! Can't wait to work with her on wedding day.
Cheryl and her team are the BEST!!! I did a hair and makeup trial run for my wedding as well as hired her team to do mine, my bridesmaids, flower girls, mother-of-the-brides, mother-of-the-flower girls makeup and hair and they were amazing. Extremely professional, quick and easy communication, and a pleasure to work with. We had a few hiccups the day of the wedding (unrelated) and she was very accommodating for some minor changes in schedule. Her makeup and hair application is FLAWLESS, lasted ALL-DAY (through hours of photos, an outdoor beach wedding, and lots of sweaty reception dancing), photographed beautifully, and really gave my wedding party the fabulous and glam look I was going for! She gave me a mini touch-up kit, which I only used once to touch up my lipstick one during the night. I also just did a virtual makeup lesson with her during this pandemic crisis quarantine and it was awesome! I learned so much, and the tutorial sesh was very personalized to what products I already had/ what I wanted to focus on/ my current skill level. Super fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
Cher is an experienced professional with many years in the beauty industry under her belt! While I was at her studio, I noticed that she had several awards on her wall! I wanted a look for a night out with my husband while we were in Hawaii and not only was my experience with her fun and memorable, but she was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. I didn't want anything too dramatic, but something special for the occasion (our 10 year wedding anniversary). She did my hair and make up in under an hour. She also utilizes special techniques such as "baking" to enhance my features. If you're looking for an artist to enhance your features and not make you look like a completely different person, then I highly suggest Cher. She knows what she's doing!!! 5 stars for the overall experience.
Cheryl & her makeup team were my first and only choice when it came to booking hair and makeup for my wedding. I had been in contact with them for the 2 years of planning. Ipo handled every single e-mail and question I asked and she was amazing. I was able to schedule a hair & makeup trial the day before my wedding & I'm so glad I did because I was initially going to go into HMU the day of my wedding blind and not knowing what I wanted. During my HMU trial, Cheryl made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. She has such a vivid and fun personality! The way we talked made me feel like I had known her for years already or she was like my "ate" ("big sister" in Tagalog)! I also normally freak out when anyone comes at my eyes with anything and for some reason, I didn't freak out at all. ESPECIALLY when it came to applying the lashes. She was SO quick with it I didn't even have time to freak out. The day of my wedding, Cheryl, Ipo, & Crystal came on time and got all of us (7 in total) done in a systematic fashion. They were all so funny and that helped me calm my nerves. I was SO happy with my hair & makeup. My makeup felt so light and stayed on through all the crying and sweating I did and she even provided me with a touchup kit! My hair did frizz up, but that's just my hair and even the strongest spray couldn't stop my hair from frizzing LOL. But everyone looked perfect. No one's makeup was too heavy or too light. Also, they were able to send another MUA to another hotel where I had 3 other family members requiring HMU. Cheryl & her team listen to you and don't try to force more makeup on you if you don't want it. They provide their opinions and you can basically tell them yes/no! They are all so amazing and I would 100% recommend Cheryl & her team for anyone needed HMU services.
Destination Wedding: 10/4/18 Venue: Haiku Gardens, Kaneohe As with everything else for our wedding, I (bride) waited until about 4-6 weeks out to seriously look into vendors. How I was lucky enough to secure Cheryl for our wedding day, I'll never know! Closer to our day, Ipo, a member of her team sent me the timeline for our day of. Prior to our day of, they were so accommodating to some schedule changes at the request of my videographer. Due to our ceremony starting earlier in the morning, Cheryl and her team needed to plan for a 4:45am start (yikes, sorry!). They arrived exactly on time to set up and get started. Everyone was so professional, kind, funny, and easy to talk to. Cheryl gave me the fishtail half up-do of my pinterest dreams! I did not do a trial as there was not enough time between us flying in from Denver and the wedding day. However, I wasn't worried in the slightest bit. I think the most important thing is that she and her team listened to my/bridesmaids' request when it came to makeup and hair. I told my bridesmaids to pick a hair/makeup look that would make them feel most comfortable and beautiful. We all had some inspo pictures ready and all the looks were achieved. I would highly recommend Cheryl and her team! My makeup itself lasted the best it could through the heavy humidity that day, my sweaty dancing, and the endless amount of tears. I should also note, my skin already is oily/combination and was in crazy oil production with the fast climate change. The only items that faded were lip product (eating, drinking), and bottom lash shadow (crying...lots of crying...all day). Thank you Cheryl, you were a dream!

I cannot recommend Cherbu enough! They were incredibly efficient and quick, which kept our wedding morning stress-free and on schedule. Most importantly, my hair and makeup stayed flawless the entire night--even through hours of dancing. High energy, great vibes, and amazing results!" read more

I trust only Cheryl and her wonderful crew to paint my face. She has done my wedding, my sister's wedding, soon to be first birthday for my daughter. I always end up buying something from her studio. Very kid friendly at her studio. Professional, can't beat that! I have used so many products out there, MAC, Nars, Urban decay, Toofaced, and I bought products from her which have cleared up my face with just using makeup! Hands down 5 stars I would give her 10 if there was any such thing! Please give her a try if you're looking for weddings, proms, or even date night! I did! You will NOT be disappointed! Mahalo Cheryl and team for always making me look beyond beautiful 04/19/18: just reordered my black eyeliner and brows pencil so in love with it! Won't go back to any other brand! Thank you Cher for such a fast delivery!!! Cher is absolutely awesome!! read more

Cheryl is an absolute gem! From the make up trial to the wedding she made me feel absolutely gorgeous. She is so experienced that she somehow was able to put together an amazing look based off all the hundreds of Pinterest photos I said I liked and always checked in to see if there was any part of the look I wanted changed during the process. The make up and hair turned out so amazing that I honestly didn't know I could look that good and it lasted the whole day/night. This review is LONG over due! I'm from Los Angeles, and my Fiancé and I flew to Honolulu for our engagement pictures. I found Cheryl here on Yelp, and thank God I did! She is amazing at her job! Note: This was my first time getting my hair/makeup done professionally. She asked what I wanted, she gave me her thoughts and suggestions! I felt comfortable the whole time! If you need your hair and makeup done, THIS IS YOUR GIRL! It ended up raining during our engagement shoot and my makeup stayed on the whole time! My hair got undone a little, but the pictures came out amazing! THANK YOU CHERYL!! read more

** This review is long overdue and pre-COVID. ** CHERYL & HER TEAM ARE SO FUN AND THE BEST TO WORK WITH! I had my destination wedding in Hawaii last year and was so lucky to have found Cheryl and her team! I researched quite a few makeup artists in Hawaii, but found Cheryl's portfolio the most appealing. Most communication was done with Ipo via email, and everything just went so smoothly. Cheryl and her team were very responsive and super easy to communicate with. I was so fortunate to be able to book my hair and makeup trial with Cheryl herself, and we instantly just clicked! She was able to recreate the pictures I showed her for reference and added her own touches to make sure the look worked for me. Working with Cheryl and her team felt like hanging out with friends. We couldn't stop laughing and cracking jokes while getting my hair and makeup done on my wedding day. All my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup, and they still rave about it even till this day! Also, on the wedding day, Cheryl provides you with a small bag full of goodies that you would need to touch up throughout the day (very thoughtful and useful)! You cannot go wrong with Cheryl and her team. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for hair and makeup services! If they are available for your wedding date, BOOK THEM!! Also, did I mention that Cheryl has her own makeup line- Cherbu Cosmetics? I loved the lip colors she used on me during the trial and wedding day that I had to purchase some of my own! read more

Cheryl Hazelgrove is a goddess! I truly believe she is my long-lost sister because we clicked so well! She listened to all of my makeup wish list items and somehow made me look flawless all day. I hate it but I sweat, a lot. So much so, that I need eyelid primer just to put on the tiniest bit of "waterproof" eyeliner. Makeup doesn't last very long on me but Cheryl confidently promised that it would with her techniques and amazing personal makeup line. I went to the gym after our trial run and still NOTHING BUDGED. I was amazed and sold (truthfully, I was sold once she opened her studio door and gave me a big hug like she's known me forever but that's besides the point). The wedding morning she arrived, things were crazy. Crazy like a-ballistic-missile-is-about-to-hit-us-all-in-Hawaii-and-we-will-die-so-no-wedding-for-you type crazy (yes, it was that day). She was so sweet to tell me she would (understandably so) be a little late. Fast forward to through that false alarm and she arrived. Both her and Kylie, also an incredibly talented and true sweetheart of the Cherbu Team, dolled up all my bridesmaids, my mom, and I flawlessly in record time! We were finished early but there was no question that Cheryl and Kylie took their time to ensure everything was in place. All skin tones (my Nigerian MOH, two Asian bridemaids, and one Caucasian bridesmaid), skin types, makeup and hair preferences different, all gorgeous results. Not a single one of us had our makeup run despite the outdoor, sunny Ko Olina beach wedding and us dancing the night away on a very packed dance floor. Truly, stunning jobs on all of us, thank you so dearly! read more

Cherbu is the best! No effing lie! The only thing I regret is not flying her to San Francisco to do my makeup and hair for my banquet. Oh how much regret I feel after getting my hair and makeup done from another vendor. She definitely deserves the FULL 5-STARS. She listened and gave great suggestions for my hair and makeup. Especially I don't know jack about contouring, concealer, falsie etc. She did exactly how I imagined how I wanted my hair and makeup to be for my wedding. She made me feel so beautiful and confident walking down the aisle. My husband approves it! Theres a saying how brides don't usually look like themselves at their wedding due to all that excessive makeup but Cherbu definitely made it look like me but with some glam to it which looked really great in pictures. Cherbu is definitely recommended!! Thank you again Cherbu! read more

Thank you, Cheryl, for making me feel like a beauty queen on my special day. I recommend having a makeup and hair trial prior to the wedding. Cheryl was so personable and listened to every detail that I wanted. The ingredients in her makeup line are so soft on the skin that I even wore it the next day! On the actual day of the wedding, her team was able to get my wedding party glammed up to perfection. They were timely, professional and really fun to be around. I am looking forward to booking Cheryl for a makeup lesson the next time I visit Oahu! read more
Not 5-stars, but 5000 STARS!!! Hair and make-up are so important on your wedding day because in the end all you have to remember is the way you felt and the way you looked in photos. I had asked my hairstylist if he'd do my hair for my wedding but he told me he doesn't do weddings and instead referred me to Cheryl. I knew that there was no way he'd steer me wrong and booked her and her team right away. After talking to Cheryl on the phone and sending some emails, I was impressed because not only does Cheryl get back to you very quickly but she also lays everything out for you in a timeline so there's no confusion about what to expect. All I had to do was send her timeline to my bridesmaids and mothers so everyone knew what time to arrive. I asked Cheryl if I should do a pre-wedding test run and she told me it was completely up to me, BUT she added that she was completely confident that she could give me exactly what I wanted on my wedding day without it. Bold words and I decided to trust that she knew what she was doing. The day of my wedding arrived and Cheryl's team came to my house 30 minutes early to start prepping for hair and make-up to begin. I had originally wanted the bridesmaids hair to be down but we ended up deciding to put it up because of the humidity and possible winds at the ceremony site. Thank goodness we did that because it was so windy that it would have ruined everyone's beautifully coifed hairstyles. Cheryl personally took care of my hair and make-up and I loved that she helped me figure out what I wanted with an array of photos on an iPad. Everything from hairstyles to make-up so that I would get exactly what I wanted. It was GENIUS!!! I could not have been more happy with the results! But the best part of this review happened AFTER my ceremony. Cheryl was nice enough to fix my hair after it had been ruined by the crazy wind at my ceremony. It just so happens that her studio was in the very same building as my reception and I went up for a quick fix. Is that the Universe working in harmony or what?! It amazed me how quickly she was able to touch up everything and make me feel as beautiful as possible on my wedding day. It really made a huge difference and I'll be forever grateful that she was there to help! As a bride you're going to really love working with Cheryl because she has the most positive attitude and her make-up lasts forever! She also gives you an adorable touch up kit that has your lipstick, lip gloss, powder, hairspray, eyelash glue, mints, and even a piece of chocolate! GENIUS, PURE GENIUS! read more
I went with Cheryl Hazelgrove and her hair/makeup business for my Oahu wedding in October 2015 because of her basically perfect Yelp rating (also, I figured if Yelp CM Emi H. loved her for her wedding, I would too!). And it's true, I loved working with Cheryl's team for my wedding. Monica (I love you, woman!!) took care of my hair and makeup on my big day. I had a trial with her a few days before in Cheryl's BOSS studio (you'll know what I mean if you ever get a chance to get done up there). She was so sweet, she listened to what I wanted, was attentive to what I maybe wasn't articulate enough to say I wanted/didn't want, and most of all, talented. My mom and 5 bridesmaids also had their hair and makeup done by the team. Emily (hair/makeup) and Crystal (hair) came out to our getting-ready site for the job. The whole experience was as fun and memorable as I always pictured it would be. Cheryl herself was on vacation on the date of my wedding, which she was quick to disclose back when I first contacted her two months before. I was initially iffy about going with her studio for this reason--I worried that perhaps only Cheryl had done the hair/makeup of the brides in all the reviews I had read. I was eventually sold on the fact that Cheryl was super communicative and sweet with me throughout the booking process (which was important since I was planning the wedding from California). She was also able to offer me a discount given my large group of ladies. Finally, Monica and the other artists turned out to be awesome, so it didn't matter in that sense that Cheryl had not been there. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 was because I was really anticipating receiving those touch-up kits for the day of mentioned in several Yelp reviews, also quoted to me as part of the package in one of my first emails with Cheryl. As the getting-ready experience was drawing to a close on the wedding day, I asked Monica about the kits, and she didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Accordingly, none of my bridesmaids or I were able to keep our faces fresh and retouched throughout the day with the same makeup we were given that morning. If I'm being 100% honest, it didn't really matter *that* much, as I was so busy that day that I don't even know when I would have had time to reapply makeup. That being said, Cheryl and her team could have communicated more about this important element prior to my date, as it was sort of a selling point. I did let Cheryl know about this later, and she was apologetic. Mahalo again to Cheryl, Monica, Emily, and Crystal for working with me! read more
Cheryl and her team are AMAZING! Wedding hair and makeup were on point, thanks to Cheryl and her fabulous team. I had bridal hair/makeup done by Cheryl, and then my bridesmaids had hair done by her team. All of the girls' hair looked great and my bridesmaids could not stop talking about how awesome Cheryl and her assistants were. They were very professional but also fun and personable, and they also gave us great suggestions/recommendations on questions we had about how we should do our hair. My bridesmaids are all from the mainland and they were even asking Cheryl if she could come to the mainland to do their weddings next year! haha =) Cheryl also was very accommodating and was able to add my mother-in-law's hair/makeup into the schedule, on very short notice. (I informed her just the night before). Cheryl and her team were also very receptive to my concerns. For example, my mother had recently permed her hair, and I think that it makes her look 10 years older (she is still in her 50's). I asked the team if they could style her hair to make her look younger, and not older, haha. They styled her hair accordingly and even gave her side-swept bangs, which made her look so much better. We were all so happy with the end result, including my mom! Cheryl also provided a little goody bag/makeup kit so that I could touch up my makeup during the day. It included a set of bobby pins, hair spray, eyelash glue, and the lipgloss that she initially put on me in the morning. These definitely came in handy especially after taking photos on the beach with the wind blowing my hair all over the place. Unfortunately I don't have any close-up pictures of my hair and makeup but believe me, we were all so happy with the outcome and the service we received. She really does amazing work and her prices are sooo reasonable too. That's another thing I love about her! Oh, and she takes credit cards so it's so convenient to pay her. I highly recommend her for hair/makeup especially for bridal! I'm sad that the wedding festivities are over so I have no excuse to have my makeup/hair done by her. I guess now I'll have to come up with an excuse to be able to book her again. =) read more

I had my make up and hair done by Cheryl. She is awesome! She made having my make up done feel so easy, it felt like she was brushing everything on so lightly. I couldn't believe the final look when I finally got to see it! Cheryl is very patient and is happy to make any adjustments if you feel they are necessary. All of my friends and family loved my hair and make up and I felt like a beautiful bride! Thank you, Cheryl!!! read more

I was really skeptical about hiring a hair and makeup vendor for my destination wedding since I would only find out at the trial, a few days before the wedding, if I made the right choice. Cheryl invited me over to her house for the trial - she has a huge corner set up as a makeup stand and used natural light from her gorgeous windows for the application. The entire process was honestly so much fun - my friend and I brought a bottle of wine to entertain ourselves and Cheryl was so delightful! She's a gorgeous spirit and we had a great time hanging out with her! Instead of looking in a mirror, she took photos to show me what my hair and makeup looked like on camera, then did minor adjustments so that I was 100% satisfied. The morning of the wedding she came over with two girls to assist with hair. All three of them were so sweet and such a calming presence. As a Sephora addict, I was skeptical of using her own brand of makeup but I am now a full on believer. My makeup went NOWHERE ALL DAY. No lipstick or foundation on the groom, no lipstick smeared on my napkin during dinner - even the neckline of my dress (where, lets be honest, I was sweating a bunch all day) had just the most minor amount of color on the inside. She gave me an adorable touch up kit but other than re-applying lipstick once, I never needed to do a thing. Honestly, I've never felt so gorgeous - thank you to Cheryl and her crew!! read more

100/10 would recommend Cher!!! she is truly amazing and made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day. I showed her some inspo pics for make up and just described what I wanted for my hair and she brought my vision to light! I had a trial with her a few days before the wedding and it was one of the highlights of my wedding trip, she's so great! Wedding day, she and her team got 11 of us done in 4 hours and like mentioned above, just made me feel amazing! I had searched meticulously for hair and make up artists for my wedding because I have extremely sensitive skin, Cher made sure that everything worked with my skin! In addition, communicating and booking was a breeze; even through two postponements, she goes above and beyond for her clients. Thank you Cher for everything! If you need hair and make up for ANYTHING, choose Cherbu!!! read more

Best. Ever. !!! Katie Rezantes (one of the makeup artists/hair stylists that works with Cheryl) did my hair and makeup for an outdoor morning wedding ceremony and lunch reception. I could not be happier with the result! She was patient and encouraging as I flip flopped on several ideas. She gave me final say on everything and did not make me feel at all rushed when I asked for last minute changes. The makeup (Cheryl's own line called Cherbu) held up well under the heat of the morning/afternoon sun. On top of doing an absolutely amazing job, Katie was easy going, fun, and a blast to hang out with!! Exactly what every bride needs just before their big day! I would recommend Katie to anyone considering getting their hair and/or makeup done. I didn't meet Cheryl personally but we texted a few times to coordinate. She seemed very friendly and willing to go above and beyond for her clients. With Katie as a representative of her business and makeup line, I have all the confidence that Cheryl is equally praiseworthy. read more

Cheryl and Ipo and everyone on her team is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! You cannot find a better hair and makeup artist team than Cherbu!! All of my bridesmaids have said she was the best makeup artist ever, even better than their own MUA at their weddings in the past. Cherly is the real deal, you will not be disappointed! Do follow her on her instagram pages, she updates her page daily with all the clients she's worked with and it gives you a great idea of what kind of makeup and hair you're wanting on your special day. Her products are fantastic and literally last all day, it does not come off!! And in hawaii, it can definitely get humid as well, and let me tell you i sweat easily, but my makeup on my wedding was on there for good. My pictures looked so good, she did a fabulous job. Also, you know how sometimes when you get your makeup done, and it feels like you have so much on your face, and can feel kinda cakey?... well it's not the case with Cheryl. Her stuff feels so light, but you look flawless!! I have no idea how that works, but her work is amazing. Seriously book her ASAP!! Her team is the best~! read more
